I love to watch documentaries! I have never seen one like this and I enjoyed it very much! Watching this series, changed how I hear the Lord's prayer. It makes me want to dive into this prayer more! I enjoyed Brad Grays' travels to the historical places from the Bible. I felt like I was there! I was so intrigued with learning more about what the Lord's Prayer actually means.

My Review

I recently had the opportunity to review this 'She Reads Truth Notetaking Bible' in the CSB version. I received the complete New Testament. There are 5 complete volumes which is incredible!

Upon receiving this Bible, it is beautiful, heavy with nice, large binder rings. It lays flat which is nice. I love that there are maps, some background information, outlines and plenty of space to take notes and journal. The paper is not too thin. The font is at a 10 point. The outlines and background information pages are smaller than the Scriptures. It is significantly heavy, so I can't see actually taking this to church but I would use it personally for home use. I will treasure using this Bible in my walk with the Lord!

I haven’t watched much of The Chosen but I have heard so much about it. When I heard they were coming out with ‘The Last Supper’, I was excited to see it. I had the chance to watch the first episode of part one. It was an hour long and it held my attention and I liked watching it play out how Jesus and some of the scenes were in the Bible. It really made it come to life and I feel like it has drawn me closer to the Lord and His Word.

These are the release dates: part one (episodes 1-2) March 28, part two (episodes 3-5) April 4, and part three (episodes 6-8) April 1.

I enjoy a good survivor type of story involving the wilderness. This is a true story of 12 yrs old Donn Fendler who was lost for 9 days. This happened in 1939 before World War 2. His father went out and searched for him as well as search and rescue people. Donn tried his best to survive and learn from what his father taught him. His instincts kicked in and his will to survive and to see his family again. This is a bit of documentary in this film as the real life characters are speaking in it along with photographs and video footage of Donn. I enjoyed this film and recommend it to anyone.

Review: Faith & Lettering Journal

This is the final art journal to review by Ellie Claire Gifts and I saved the best for last! This was my favorite one! The Faith & Lettering Journal is a beauty! I love the cover for starters. It feels nice to hold, there are a few embellishments and the gold foil on the cover is so pretty. It also has a place on the spine to hold your pen or pencil.

This one in particular helped me to take the time to meditate on the Scripture I was working on. I am not that creative of a person but knowing that my God is the Creator as mentioned in the book.."there is creativity in your DNA that you cannot deny." I like that because this will help me grow in my faith.

I love that there are Scriptures on a full page. They are so pretty! I love reading them! There are sections that say: 'begin here' and they have the Scripture done for you. Then, the next column says: 'trace' and you trace it. Then, the next one says,'your turn'. After that, there are 3 more columns that say, 'practice, practice, practice'! You can make it your own! There are also pages where you are learning to practice writing letters with different fonts. Some are blank pages-that are great spaces for journaling. I love learning how to do flourishes and banners! There is also a page with other objects on it to learn how to draw them.

Review: 'The Illustrated Word' coloring journal

The next journal for review is 'The Illustrated Word': An Illuminated Bible Coloring Journal. It is a hardcover with a pretty design on the front.This journal does not come with a bookmark or a place for your keepsakes.

Inside of the journal, there are full color illustrations from the Museum of the Bible in the corners of the pages. At the bottom, there is brief some brief information about that illustration. There are pages to be colored that have those images. So, you can use the same colors or make it your own. The pages have a nice thickness to them.

Overall, personally, I do not like the art style shown inside this particular book. It is the partial illustrations in the corners of the pages that I wish weren't in this. I will post a few pictures of those images soon.

I like the Scripture coloring pages. I really wish there were more Bible verse coloring pages in this book. To me, when it is called, The Illustrated Word, that means that it should all be Scripture pages but it isn't.

Review: Art Journal 'Illuminate Your Story'

I will be reviewing 3 art journals by Ellie Claire Gifts in 3 separate posts! The first one is called 'Illuminate Your Story'. It is a beautiful hardcover with some foil in the design along with a couple of embellishments on the cover. On the spine, it has a pen loop to hold your pen. It also includes a bookmark to hold your spot in place. In the back of the book, there is a pocket that says, 'Keepsakes'. You can put letters and photos in there. Maybe even some washi tape strips or stickers to add onto your pages.

I do like the art style in the book. Throughout the pages, you'll see how to draw the letter shapes, flourishes, and some animals. You will also see Bible quotes and other quotes at the top of the pages. Included in the middle of some of the lettering pages are facts such as this one: "Peacocks were used in early Christian art because they symbolized immortality and resurrection."

I tried my hand at some of the lettering and it took me some time to get it the way that I wanted it. I was erasing and redoing and then going over and outlining with a micro pen and finally, I used colored pencils for coloring it in. I love how it turned out and I can't wait to do more lettering. This was a fun and relaxing experience in learning how to do some basic lettering and adding flourishes to it and other details. I enjoyed 'Illuminate Your Story' and I recommend it to any christian who loves the Word. If you write in your Bible or draw in a sketchbook, I think this will be a great asset to your time with God. Review: Dream Catcher

I've never owned a Dream Catcher before but when I saw this, I wanted to get it. It's so pretty. The feathers are purple and blue. Around the holes are teal and purple beads. There are also white, clear and mint green beads as well. The web is held together by a brown leather circle. I love these colors and this is made quite well. I have had no problems with it.

The perfect place to hang this is somewhere the light comes into. The feathers are purple and So, the 'legend' of a dream catcher is that 'Nightmares pass through the holes and out of the window, the good dreams are trapped in the web and slide down the feathers to the sleeping person.' Splenda Zero Liquid Sweetner

I love adding some sweetener to my coffees whether hot or cold as well as to my iced-t drinks. Splenda has been my go to for a long time. I always use the packet. They just came out recently with their 'Zero Liquid Sweetener'. I have a small sample here in the size of 0.27 fl oz. This is the perfect size to put into your handbag for on the go purposes. You simply squirt this into your drink of choice and viola. It's done. You may want a couple of squirts into it. For me, this is nice but I still lean towards the packets because I know exactly how much I'm using. To me, the liquid tastes a little different and I think I'll stick to the yellow packets of goodness from Splenda!

This is the June box of Loved + Blessed! The Theme is on 'trust'. We don't know the turn out of everything in life so we have to trust God that and believe that He'll take care of us and those that we love.

This is the April box of 'Loved + Blessed' and the theme is 'Journey'.

This is the 'Journey' theme card. Life is a journey and what we make out of it from the ups and downs of life is what makes us who we are today.

The sticker says, "Rough roads often lead to beautiful destinations." Isn't that true? Not all roads can be smooth and if it weren't for the bumps in it, we wouldn't be where God wants us to be and He couldn't shape us well into the person He wants us to be.

Our mini poster says, "Don't miss the joy in your journey."

We have a small 'workbook' that reads, "Finding the lessons in my journey". Here, you plot the happiest or one of the toughest times in your life. You would reflect on where you were and what you learned as well as Scriptures that got you through that time and how you applied the lessons and moved forward.

Our Scripture card says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We have a luggage tag included that you can put onto your baggage.

Last, we have a nice charm to put on a necklace or bracelet. It says, "Find Joy in the Journey" and on the other side, "Without change there would be no butterflies." I love this! It's such a meaningful message and it's perfect. We know that life's not perfect but we have to endure situations in our lives that we may not to be in. Without those times, there would be no growth.

Here we go! This is March's box and the theme is on 'brokenness'. This month was especially hard as my dear grandmother passed away. We loved her and miss her very much. There is brokenness through loss of life but God is always with us and He can help mend any brokenness.

Loved + Blessed: Comfort box

It's time for another edition of Loved + Blessed! This is an uplifting subscription box for Christians. The theme for the month of February is: 'comfort'. True comfort comes from God Himself. The Holy Spirit knows what we're going through and He is our Comforter in time of need. He's always available to us, whenever and where-ever we need Him.

Here's the mini poster that says, "Everything is going to be okay." It's a great reminder that maybe not everything is okay right now at the moment but it will be.

This is the sticker that says, "The best way to get a hug is to give a hug." Very true, love this saying! I like to put these stickers inside of my journal as nice reminders.

Here are two Scripture cards! One of them is taken from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 and the other, Psalms 23:4. Wonderful verses to hold dear to our hearts and minds.

This is a chiming necklace that everytime you hear it chime, just remember the Holy Spirit is always with us!

Review: CHOMP SNACK STICKS

I grew up munching on Slim Jim's but, I know they're not healthy for you. So, once I found out about CHOMPS, I couldn't wait to review these and find an alternate to that 'other product'!

About this product, Chomps Snack Sticks are an awesome new health product made with 100% Non-GMO Grass-Fed Angus Beef which is sourced from New Zealand. The sticks contain no artificial ingredients (no nitrites, nitrates, MSG, colors, flavors) and are shelf stable for a year with the help of celery juice! Best of all, they taste AMAZING! Think much healthier and tastier version of Slim Jim's.

I was sent 6 CHOMPS snack sticks, 2 of each flavor. The flavors were: Original, Hoppin' Jalapeno and Crankin' Cran. My favorite was the original and I also enjoyed the the Jalapeno which had just a little heat to it. The Crankin' Cran was pretty HOT! :) These had some nice bite to them and not skinny and oily like Slim Jim's are. Also, these sticks were easy for me to push up. I've always had difficulty where the meat would get stuck in the plastic with you know, that 'other product' but not with CHOMPS!

Review: imPRESS on nails

I haven't tried press on nails since I was like a teenager. However, I recently had the chance to review the 'impress press on manicure gel nails'! I received 2 packs. One of them has 30 pink ultra shine gel nails with 6 of them being accent (gold/white mix) nails. Very pretty! The other pack is brown has 24 ultra gel shine nails with a couple of decorations to put onto your nails. Love both of these colors as their my favorite. These press on nails secure like glue, are waterproof, gap free seal and their flexible.

So, first, find the correct size. Next, you cleanse the nail, Then, you peel off the backing and align your nail with cuticle. Finally, press down firmly. You can wear them all week long if possible. Mine didn't make it that long as I do wash my hands a lot and I think that had something to do with that!

To remove, you just gently peel the nail off from the sides or you can use polish remover. Very easy to remove. No problem! Check out imPRESS nails!

Review: Original Bamboo Memory Foam Pillow

This review is for the 'Original Bamboo Memory Foam Pillow'. When I received the pillow, (see above), it came vacuum sealed. When I cut the plastic off, this is how it looked: (see below) very flat.

I read online where people put it in the dryer for a little bit to fluff it up. Or, you can just pound it with your fist and squish it which I did! :) I did notice the first day when I received this, that it had a strong odor. I know these memory foam pillows do, so it's not just this one. So, once I fluffed it all up by hand on the 2nd day that I received this, this is how it looked!

It's so soft and it's a queen size pillow so it's quite large! I like this memory foam pillow. It's very soft and comfortable. It's something that could last for quite some time with care.

Review: Sweet N Low

I haven't had Sweet N Low for quite a few years up until now. The sweetness of it is equal to 2 packets of sugar. I used to put it in my unsweetened iced tea. Today, I used it in my Caramel Vanilla Chai tea and enjoyed it!

I was sent a nice thermos type cup, a box containing 50 packets, a lil packet holder and some samples to give away. I gave the sample packs away to people at work. Unfortunately, the packet holder arrived damaged. :( I don't know think I'll be giving up my Splenda but maybe alternate every now and then.

I love prophecy, end time news, biblical headlines you name it! We're getting closer each day to Jesus' return to come get us! I had the chance to review John Hagee's prophecy study Bible in the NKJV and I was so excited to dig right in to God's Word! Features to this Bible include:

It also includes maps as well! Sometimes prophecy can get confusing, too many events happening and you're not sure about them. Well, this Bible lays out some prophecy charts which I just love and it helps me to SEE it laid out and for instance, I see the Seals spoken of in Revelation 6:1-8:6. On the same page, it also has the Trumpets from Revelation 8:7-11:19. As well as the Bowls, Revelation 15:1-16:21.

I really enjoy this prophecy Bible and recommend it to those that are interested in prophecy and the end times and what's to come!

Love + Blessed: Joy Box

This is the joy box from Loved + Blessed. As always, it comes with a theme card and for this month, the topic is, 'joy'! We all have been through things and it's hard to be joyful in many circumstances but good is around and for that, we have to be grateful and in that, we can find some joy.

Here's the mini poster that you can frame if you wish. It says, "Make a joyful noise!"

This is the Scripture card and it has Romans 12:12 on it which says, "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." These are great to keep in a wallet and nice for memorizing Scripture.

This is the sticker.."Today I choose joy."

Last, is a cd album by House Fires music that contains 11 songs. I like quite a few of them on here but I think 'Only You Satisfy' is my favorite.
