Finally, Riri trimmed down her mohawk hairdon’t, and now she looks normal. Good choice. However, the “Russian Roulette” star came about with another questionable fashion accessory, the hip fanny pack. Well, the hip bag wasn’t really much of  a fashion trend but a functional carry-all wrapped around the waist, and it has been a long time since it last appeared in the world of style. Is Rihanna making a fashion resurrection? I don’t know, and I can’t even judge whether her fanny pack is cool or not. What do you think guys? Should she let this bag go or not? Well, at least I am content with her tamer do and that’s what really matters right now.

Leighton Meester is one of Hollywood’s freshest faces, but like all other faces, she is also prone to mistakes and other fashion disasters. Just check out her present makeup mishap, a fully madeup face inspired by no less than The Joker of the Batman series. Apparently her stylist made a big joke on her pretty face and tried something unusual, just to see how Leighton looks like when she’s all made out. The gray eyeshadow’s just messy, and her mascara laden lashes are long enough to prick. Not to mention her red red lipstick that made her GRIN, not smile. Question: is there another Batman movie?

Indeed the fashion and entertainment world are obsessed with size zero figures, but of course due to increasing health risks a lot of anti-eating disorder groups have taken the stand to trash out the said skinny trend. Model Kate Moss however made the headlines in the fashion industry this week for her comments about being skinny, saying “nothing tastes good as skinny feels.” While that phrase was only part of a longer, anti-eating disorder explanation, the model was slammed as her comment was taken way out of context. Well, she was trying to explain the mindset of girls who wanted to slim down and get the model figure, and yeah, she says she’s against that thinking as well. But while critics raised brows on what she said, I think she just said the truth. It’s up to the fashion world on how to break the tradition of setting size zero as the standard of being pretty and sexy.

From the “Hills”, we move on to “The City,” where main star Whitney Port came in a sheer disappointment. The reality TV star indeed showed off her gams but paired them with not-so-impressive peeptoe sandals and a mesh doily, which didn’t make her stand out in the crowd. I am beginning to wonder what did Whitney learn in fashion school, and that includes her training at one of the most prestigious fashion houses in New York. She always looks like a fashion disaster whenever she is present at the red carpet! I think she either has to retake her classes or better change careers. Whitney, what are you thinking?

“The Hills” hottie Audrina Patridge looked like a goddess in her all-grey ensemble at the US Weekly’s Hollywood soiree, and yes, she made it a point to top nemesis Kristin Cavallari when it comes to the fashion report card. Audrina looks totally glamorous with her brunette ‘do, and not to mention sophisticated, as compared with her previous flimsy drag getups. If this is a result of her competition with her “Hills” co-star, or because she arrived and shared a table with rumored beau, Mark Salling? Either way, I think Audrina won that night, and she did it by standing out of the shades of gray. Good work, girl!

Fashion-wise, the TV star matches her style with equal attitude, and was able to make a statement by wearing a bridal inspired frock in a red carpet event hosted by US Weekly.  Her form fitting corset gave her the feisty figure she deserves, while her heels gave her just enough height to show off some balance. Her hubby Tau Raspoli truly deserves a beauty like Olivia, not only because she possesses exquisite beauty, but because she has the right attitude.

Chloe Sevigny indeed stole the spotlight at the MOCA anniversary party by coming in a Miu Miu turtle neck with a matching dainty gartered high-waisted skirt and skintone peeptoe heels. Hot or not? For me, not. Sorry but she doesn’t really look cute in the dress, no matter how dainty it tries to be. It’s a bit too trying hard to fit in Chloe’s physique, not too mention trying too hard to look fashionable. The turtleneck ruffles are not amusing, nor are the silver lines on her top. I do hope she doesn’t commit the same mistake again, because in all honesty, Chloe deserves a better outfit than that.

At the MOCAS anniversary party, almost everybody dressed to impress. However, the highlight of the event didn’t come from the A-list dressers-but a rather fashion outrage, coming from no less than Lady Gaga. The ever eccentric diva performed in a ghoulish doll like makeup, with blue lipstick smudged on her puckers! The Lady didn’t fail to impress the guests with her getup, and yeah, she had everyone gaping and speechless, not knowing what to say with her style. Love it or hate it, she really did it. Oh well, that’s always expected from the dance diva, whose known for being one of the Vetruvian personalities in the music industry. Go girl!

Pink is and will always be hot-that’s true. But sometimes, the girly color loses its magic touch when worn at the wrong shades and by the wrong people. Unfortunately in this case, I’m referring to Marisa Tomei. Marisa, who’s been out and about in the red carpet for the past few months and has been praised for her elegant fashion sense, apparently made the wrong move by wearing a stiff hot pink dress designed by Jean Desses, and while she attempted to be a prom queen, she ended up looking like an overaged teenager. Sorry Marisa, you didn’t win the fashion report card this time around.
