Marv Dumon of examiner.com pointed out that Pacquiao has lost every 16 fights since suffering a third-round knockout against Torrecampo in Mandaluyong City 16 years ago. In 1999, sixteen fights after his first loss, he suffered a third round knockout against Thailand's Medgoen Singsurat, which led to him losing his WBC flyweight title.

The pattern did not end there as 16 fights thereafter in 2005, Pacquiao faced Erik Morales for the WBC and IBA Super Featherweight titles. Morales ended up winning via a unanimous decision.

Australian billionaire promises to build Titanic II by 2016

Mining magnate Clive Palmer announced on Monday that he will build a high-tech replica of the Titanic and sail it from England to New York by the end of 2016.

The cost is unknown, but according to the 58-year-old native of Australia’s Queensland, the diesel-powered vessel “will be every bit as luxurious as the original Titanic, but … will have state-of-the-art 21st-century technology and the latest navigation and safety systems.” The ship will have four smoke stacks like its predecessor, but they will be purely decorative in nature.

Titanic II will be built at a Chinese shipyard and will sail on its maiden voyage accompanied by the Chinese navy. Asked whether the new passenger liner could sink, Palmer said: “Of course it will sink if you put a hole in it.”

Several Indonesian football fans who watched the friendly on Tuesday night between the Philippine Azkals and Timnas Indonesia are accused of racially abusing the Philippines' mixed-heritage players.

"Hindi kayo Pilipino! (You are not Filipinos!)" the Indonesian fans yelled in unison at some members of the Azkals while the match was ongoing, according to witnesses who watched the game live at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Craig Burrows, an Englishman based in Manila who manages the Philippines' Homeless World Cup team, told ABS-CBNnews.com that he was standing next to the Indonesian fans when he heard the abusive chant. He said Filipino football fans who were with him also heard it. "Sadly, let us not stoop to that," he said.

Araceli Socorro, an Azkals fan, said she heard the offensive chant in the first half. "How did the Pinoys respond to the racist chants? Showed them a banner that went 'NO TO RACISM' and then clapped for the Indonesian team," she said on Twitter. Some Indonesians also boasted about the racist abuse on the social networking site after the match.

Several Philippine Azkals players have mixed heritage, having both Filipinos and foreigners as parents. They also learned the sport overseas and play professionally for some top football teams in Europe. Under FIFA eligibility rules, a football player with mixed heritage is allowed to represent a national team in international competitions if he or she can prove ancestral links to the country of his or her choice.

Article 17 of the current FIFA Statute states that a player is eligible to play for a country if he fulfills one of the following conditions: "He was born on the territory of the relevant Association; (b) His biological mother or biological father was born on the territory of the relevant Association; (c) His grandmother or grandfather was born on the territory of the relevant Association; (d) He has lived continuously for at least five years after reaching the age of 18 on the territory of the relevant Association."

The Philippine Football Federation has yet to issue a statement on the issue, particularly if it will file a complaint before world football body FIFA and the Indonesian football association, which has been beset by bribery allegations, funding woes, power grabs and infighting, league splits and factionalism, as well as violent fights between fanatical supporters of local clubs. "Myiasis" is the medical term for a maggot (fly larva) infestation of a living body. In this case, the patient was a 5-year-old boy treated by U.S. Air Force surgeons in a rural area of the Republic of Honduras. "The respiratory pore of a late-stage larva of the human botfly (Dermatobia hominis) was located in the anterior orbit," says the article abstract. "The larva was gently removed under general anesthesia through a small incision in the conjunctiva." The patient was apparently none the worse for wear in the aftermath.

It would appear that the article itself was not consulted when this viral tale was composed. Neither "bad dust" nor excessive eye rubbing were cited as causes of the infestation in the 5-year-old patient. According to entomologists, the human botfly lays its eggs on the bodies of other insects (such as mosquitoes), which then transfer the eggs to animal or human hosts by direct contact. When a botfly egg hatches, the larva burrows into the host's skin head-first and begins feeding.

This nasty creature is found mainly in Central and South America, but there are other species of flies known to responsible for cases of myiasis in North America, mainly blowflies. According to an epidemiological study conducted in 2000, most instances of myiasis acquired in the United States are the result of blowflies laying their eggs in pre-existing wounds.

TV5 have recently shown this video in its News program, AKSYON. The amateur video, uploaded on May 25, surfaced weeks later after the fight happened between Raymart Santiago and company versus broadcaster Mon Tulfo at NAIA Terminal 3.

Until now, only one proof of the fight had been released to the public. But this new video shows that the guy with the pink shirt, Eduardo Atilano, obviously from Raymart’s side, hit Tulfo on the head first. This apparently happened right before the infamous brawl.

Raymart and Claudine had repeatedly insisted from interviews that Mon Tulfo started the fistfight.

1. kunin mo ang mission order nila upang malaman mo ang kanilang area of responsibility, time of duty and official function;
2. "SWERVING" ay HINDI isang traffic violation.

Tandaan:
1.Hindi maaaring kunin ang iyong driver's license maliban na lamang kung ikaw ay sangkot sa traffic accident o nakalikom na ng 3 o higit pang traffic violations.
2. Walang karapatan ang traffic enforcer na pababain ng sasakyan ang driver.

Going viral on Facebook: Through a rapist's eyes! A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were interviewed on what they look for in a potential victim and here are some interesting facts.

The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle. They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun, braid or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed. They are also likely to go after a woman with long hair. Women with short hair are not common targets.
The second thing men look for is clothing. They will look for women who's clothing is easy to remove quickly. Many of them carry scissors around to cut clothing.
They also look for women using their cell phone, searching through their purse or doing other activities while walking because they are off guard and can be easily overpowered.
The number one place women are abducted from / attacked at is grocery store parking lots. Number two is office parking lots/garages and Number three is public restrooms.
The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman and quickly move her to a second location where they don't have to worry about getting caught.
If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going after you isn't worth it because it will be time-consuming.
These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas, or other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their hands.
Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon. So, the idea is to convince these guys you're not worth it.

Points to Remember:

If someone is following behind you on a street or in a garage or with you in an elevator or stairwell, look them in the face and ask them a question, like what time is it, or make general small talk: can't believe it is so cold out here, we're in for a bad winter. Now that you've seen their faces and could identify them in a line- up, you lose appeal as a target.
If someone is coming toward you, hold out your hands in front of you and yell Stop or Stay back! Most of the rapists this man talked to said they'd leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she would not be afraid to fight back. Again, they are looking for an EASY target.
If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a huge advocate of it and carries it with him wherever he goes,) yelling I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY and holding it out will be a deterrent.
If someone grabs you, you can't beat them with strength but you can do it by outsmarting them. If you are grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the attacker either under the arm between the elbow and armpit or in the upper inner thigh - HARD. One woman in a class this guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle strands the guy needed stitches. Try pinching yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it; it really hurts.
After the initial hit, always go for the groin. I know from a particularly unfortunate experience that if you slap a guy's parts it is extremely painful. You might think that you'll anger the guy and make him want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists told our instructor is that they want a woman who will not cause him a lot of trouble. Start causing trouble, and he's out of there.
When the guy puts his hands up to you, grab his first two fingers and bend them back as far as possible with as much pressure pushing down on them as possible. The instructor did it to me without using much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both knuckles cracked audibly.
Of course the things we always hear still apply. Always be aware of your surroundings, take someone with you if you can and if you see any odd behavior, don't dismiss it, go with your instincts. You may feel little silly at the time, but you'd feel much worse if the guy really was trouble.

Finally, Please remember these as well:

Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do it.
Learned this from a tourist guide to New Orleans: If a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you... chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car: Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit (doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc.) DON'T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side,put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU CLOSE the DOORS , LEAVE.
Be aware: look around your car as someone may be hiding at the passenger side , peek into your car, inside the passenger side floor, and in the back seat. ( DO THIS TOO BEFORE RIDING A TAXI CAB)
If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot).
If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN!
As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked "for help" into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.

I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know. It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle. I was going to send this to the ladies only, but guys, if you love your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, etc., you may want to pass it onto them, as well. Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it and it's better safe than sorry.
