Dressing well can be a bit tricky when you have a big belly. You have to always make an extra effort and forego a few clothes that you have always liked but you can still pull great looks. Sometimes you can even fool people about the existence of your big belly by making it look smaller or completely hiding it! Working out to lose the belly is the best option but before you can get to your dream body, here are a few tips on how to dress a big stomach:

Always try to wear plain colored clothes. these naturally reduce the effect of a protruding belly. wearing printed clothes can easily make a big stomach look bigger.
Tucking in shirts has a balancing effect on your body. A neatly tucked shirt makes you look more proportional and makes the belly appear smaller.

When I think of 'amazing' I think about Madeline Stuart, an 18-year old who has gone beyond her limits to become a star in the fashion industry. Madeline has down syndrome, a condition which can really make it difficult to maintain a good weight but that was not reason enough not to chase her run way dreams. With support from her mother, she has become a star and an inspiration to many.
During the 2015 New York fashion week she has wowed many with her confidence and elegance. Her appearance in New York on Sunday 13th September must have been a stepping stone in her modelling career because now the whole world can see the potential in people born with different disabilities-she did better than so many models who attended the event. Seven fashion brands have already expressed their interest in Madeline Stuart. More over, her Facebook fan page has grown by over 500,000 fans within a week.
Madeline's main goal in all this is to change how the world views people with different health conditions in relation to fashion. Her mother, Rosanne, said that they want to change people's mindsets regarding people with down syndrome. "That's not what it's about for us, we want to change people's perspectives on intellectual disability but what's important is our daily routine and just being happy.We will only continue doing this as long as Maddy is happy doing this, it's only what makes Maddy happy that's important."

Braids seem to be very convenient nowadays especially if you have natural African hair; it really suits braiding! It's one thing to braid your hair but a different thing on how to style the braids. You can play around unlimited hair styles on braided hair for as long as your braids are well fixed. you can adjust braided hair to suit any event by just changing the style which is what every lady would like- convenience.

It is confirmed that Kim is pregnant with their second born as baby bump is already showing. As usual, I couldn't help but look out for Kim's maternity outfits so that I can share some tips with you.

A photo speaks more than a thousand words and a shot well captured is worth valuing. So I was going through some model poses in different environments and a few of them caught my attention. Take a look below:

Remember Laura from Top Model? This photo was taken in Hawaii in an attempt to celebrate the local culture. Though there was quite a debate on the photo shoot; not everyone took this imitation of culture positively but it still remains a shot to adore. Notice the nice blend between Laura's skin tone and the environment around.

The one reason that makes the photograph amazing is the model. She is such a kid but she still managed to pull out such an innocent mature pose. definitely one to watch out for.

This is quite creepy, but the story is quite obvious from just one look at the photo. This is still another one from America's Next Top Model. They really brought out the vampire theme well.

I think the most amazing thing in this one is the color scheme and the environment. Simple pose but great shot. The photographer brought it out quite well.

Black and white but still lovable. I can't quite tell which bit of this photograph is coolest but I think its one of a kind, despite its simplicity.

I was totally breath taken when I saw someone dare to get this outfit designed by Naeem Khan. I thought it broke all the dinner dress monotony that sometimes happens on red carpets. This is not the first time that this leopard print dress by Ungaro has been spotted on a celebrity but I just loved it on Katy Perry. She kept it simple with a pony tail and little jewellery and unlike the one worn by Coco Rocha sometimes back, hers is short.

I have to admit I was very attracted to the embellishments on the gown (dragonfly and flower embellishments). In case you didn't notice, Katy went a step further to accessorize her teeth with jeweled grillz that spelt the word "Roar"- her new single.

Lady Gaga is known for her rather unique choice of clothes; sometimes outrageous, a few times just on point like the one above. I have to take a bow for Prabal Gurung, the Nepalese American fashion designer who made Gaga look this simple and composed. I love the dress and to some point I think the all black look on Gaga is really a charm in its own way. I think this dress in other colors like red and blue will look amazing too.

Newborn babies are very fragile and sensitive to their needs. Modahnik Is Top In African Inspired Fashion

Recently African clothes have started spreading out to the world especially in U.S thanks to some creative African designers. The clothesline currently hitting headlines in African clothing is Modahnik which has combined different African cultures and added some modernity to their designs; the result is fabulous.
The founder and designer of Modahnik, Kahindo Mateene is not so new to Africa. Being the daughter of a diplomat her family has travelled to different parts of Africa. Kahindo traces her roots to Congo (DRC) but she was born in Kampala, Uganda. She has also lived in Ethiopia, Uganda, Nigeria, Niger, and Kenya plus she ha travelled. That might explain why Modahnik has succeeded to satisfy a wide variety of African cultures with their designs.
I have to admit I love Kahindo's passion and I will always be one of her biggest fans. The fact that Modahnik is also featuring in great programs like Project Runway should be prove of a great work of art. Check out a few of my favorite Modahnik designs below:

I think the most creative fabric work I have come across recently is from Africa not just because of the African patterns on the fabrics but also because of the color blending involved."Kikoi" and 'kitenge' fabrics are among the most popular and the most beautiful. It is easy to come up with amazing designs from these fabrics if you just put you imagination at work.
Am glad that African clothes are slowly gaining access to other parts of the world but I still hope that we will not ruin the fabrics with not so good designing.

Considering her beauty, we are already anticipating how Kanye and Kim Kardashian's baby will look like. I liked her maternity clothes all through; she has been able to show off her baby bump quite well. I picked out some of Kim Kardashians clothes- my favorite though anyone would just fall for her style.

Kim is quite fond of wearing close fitting clothes and the baby bump couldn't stop her yet. She was spotted in New York in this elegant dress- It looks quite comfortable a dress to be in if your bump is still small.

For a body like hers this dress is suitable- free flowing, comfortable and trendy. I suppose she's holding frozen yoghurt there since it was one of her cravings.

Color can actually do wonders for a pregnant lady. I like the way Kim Kardashian here picked her colors and make up. She is heavily pregnant and still glowing.

This might not be too flashy but it's attractive in its own way- A tight top to show the growing 'top' and a free bottom to keep the bump comfortable. However I think she could have done better.
