It’s not the perfect time to show you the Android-powered Walkman Z Series. Available since February this year, this Walkman Z is mentioned as the first-ever Sony’s Walkman powered by Android. Running Android 2.3, it comes with an integrated S-Master MX digital amplifier technology by Sony and is configured with 4.3 in Touch-Panel LCD with 480 x 800 resolution.

Offered in three different models — 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, the Walkman Z is powered by 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor which’s comparable with smartphone. Amazon sells the 8GB model for $249 which is still more expensive than the top-end Galaxy Player 4.2.

The Walkman Z Series comes with built-in Wi-Fi that enables users to access millions songs from Music Unlimited, the Sony’s cloud-based streaming service. And in addition to the pre-loaded apps, of course users can download unlimited apps from Android Market (now Google Play). Sure users can experience the full Android excosystem with this portable player, minus the phone capability of course.

Other convenient features those will make your music experience better are xLOUDTM speaker system; DLNA, HDMI and Bluetooth support; and easy transfers from iTunes (non DRM only) or Windows Explorer. I don’t have a Nintendo Wii console at my home, but of course I’m a Wii fan! Don’t worry about that. My first experience playing Nintendo game was happen when I was in senior high school. At that time, I was playing the classic 2D Mario Bros at my friend’s house, it’s so addicting and I always remember the beautiful moment. While I’m idle in the front of my computer, I want to enjoy such classic game in the midle of my busy workloads.

I mentioned before, I don’t have a Wii console, but I have Dolphin emulator installed on my PC, it’s save me a little bit. Right now I have two emulator ISO: “Super Mario Galaxy” and “Super Mario Galaxy II”, both runs smoothly but sometime my computer crashes beacause of the CPU temperature getting higher to the maximum. Based on this, I don’t recommend avarage users to play Wii game on PC with emulator. Wii console offers more stable and reliable way to play the Wii games, no question about that.

As players win tournaments, clear minigames or challenge Gimmick Courts, they unlock new characters, courts and challenges. Up to four players can compete in wild multiplayer action.

Designed specifically for the Japanese market, the new Xperia GX is scheduled to hit the local stores starting Summer 2012. Mentioned as the first Sony LTE smartphone along with its little brother ‘Xperia SX’, this Android-based smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processors, 16GB internal flash storage, and is configured with a 4.6” Reality Display (sounds like Retina display, right?).

Regarding camera system, Sony Xperia GX features a 13MP camera with Sony Exmor R for mobile, HD video recording, and Sony technology to take 3D panoramic images. And to deliver full entertainment experience, the Xperia GX comes pre-loaded with three new media apps including “WALKMAN”, “Album” media library that’s connected to sicial network, and “Movies” app to playe video and audio.

I don’t know yet how much the Xperia GX will cost, but I don’t care much as my mind still flying to the upcoming quad-core smartphone Samsung Galaxy S III.

As an LTE-enabled device, the Xperia GX is able to download data up to 75mbps, but of course you need to stay in a country that offers LTE network such as Japan. Available in white and black, this phone offers the taste of Ice Cream Sandwich of course. Before you liave this page, you may check the Xperia Sola, a smartphone that’s sooooo sensitive.

At CeBIT 2012 in Hannover, Germany last March, Acer introduced two new Android-based tablet, the ICONIA A700 and A510. The A700 is a 10.1-inch Full HD tablet with display resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core CPU, the A700 is scheduled to be released this month but I lost its track. I worked as a network engineer in the past, and I’m actually a security minded computer user. Based on what I have learned, computer security is all about staying up to date. Computer is loaded with a variety of software and millions of code, and new bugs are found daily. That’s why the vendors keep updating their software which includes security patches. And what users need to do is simply updating their software as soon as the security update available before the bad guy exploiting the bugs. That’s my first trick, stay up to date!

Do I have the second trick? Of course, here it is: Do not download and install any software from untrusted sources. This trick is simple but hard to do, why? Because bad codes are always embedded in software you need, it’s often hiding in the free software you try to download. Believe me! It’s easy to say but hard to obey.

And what is the last trick? Do not let a strange USB flash drive plugged into your computer. So many viruses spread through this method. It means your computer must be fully isolated. Stay away from exchanging portable drive with friends. This is the hardest thing! And I don’t think you can live that way, but I do that as I’m not a student neither a corporate worker who always interacts with friends and colleagues.

Do I really live without antivirus guard? Yes, but I don’t want you to follow me. It’s hard to live like this in the world “wild” web age. As I told you before, the most challenging thing is the free software that’s available out there and always ready to cheat you. If you want to live with more confidence, get an antivirus and stay protected, and your life will be better.

After 3 years, now I want to live normally with confident, I’m so tired to stay unprotected that forces me to stay focus and isolated. I just installed an antivirus and internet security tool on my brand new desktop PC, and I will get it too for my old notebook as soon as I finish upgrading the hardware and operating system.
