The Marni for H+M collection put a smile on my face when I first heard the buzz on Twitter. Now that I’ve seen all the looks, there are two items I’m currently coveting and hope to snag when the collex becomes available. Both are dresses in ultra-chic and vibrant patterns. You’ll do a double take when you see these beauties on the street. Worth lining up around the block? I’d say so!

And I’m not the least bit surprised the Sofia Coppola directed the campaign film for the line:

J. Mendel is easily one of the poshest shows every season at NYFW. Where ever you stand on the fur debate (I don’t wear it), it’s hard to deny how beautifully Gilles Mendel does it. I love the ladylike look of the belted coat on the far left with the leather sleeves to toughen it up. And I’d like to rock that winter white number to my (imaginary) apres ski sesh in Gstaad later this winter. The other arm of J. Mendel’s collection is, of course, the red carpet gown. I’m dying to see someone – maybe Nicole Kidman? - werk that sheer silver and black number on the red carpet, and I can totally see Natalie Portman in the short dress on the right.

This runway was beyond gorgeous! Seriously love these guys. The prints (as exhibited here) are vibrant and chic. And those grey/seafoam-hued maxi dresses are incredible. There’s a beautiful mix of classic silhouettes and interesting shapes/details. Bravo to the boys for creating an eye-catching collex that totally stands out amongst the always expected dark fall palette.

Comey’s signature quirky and beloved prints are few and far between for Fall 2012. Instead she opted for a palette after my own heart—black and grey solids, and some beautiful stripes! I love that she’s doing these neutrals in classic silhouettes and the amazing texture of the fabrics keep them from being ordinary or too basic. Good news, girls. Riller + Fount’s spring 2012 collex is arriving in stores! Remember we gave ya a sneak peek with their collection video? Now it’s time to get some of these beauties in your closet—and mine! My wishlist is long and at the top you’ll find Rosita, a smocked waist maxi skirt in Fiji (such a gorgeous bright hue for spring). This is my way of adding a much-needed pop of color to my wardrobe. Revolve took this incredibly beautiful  shot to showcase the piece, along with Riller’s new cropped cami.

Fresh and clean were the first words that came to mind when I spritzed a light mist of Chloé’s latest fragrance on my wrist. Here’s the scoop: “An original interpretation of the Chloé Rose created in 2008 by Michel Almairac (Robertet), Chloé’s signature fragrance attained classic status in a few short seasons. As always, I’m  excited to be among the first to sample the new fragrance. It’ll be available in stores in mid-February. French beauty Camille Rowe-Pourcheresse, actress and model, is the new face of L’eau de Chloé. The ad campaign, which includes a film by Mario Sorrenti and photography by Camilla Akrans, captures Camille in a sun-drenched beauty field of tall grass. Here’s a short “making of” video from the shoot, followed by some fun behind-the-scenes pics from the photo shoot.

If you’re a Karl Lagerfeld fan, but can’t quite handle Chanel prices (who can?), get over to Net-a-Porter—stat—because KARL, Lagerfeld’s new lower priced line, just rolled in and is already selling out. There’s lot of sparkle in the collex—from silver-sprayed skinny jeans to sequined shorts and dresses—that can be toughened up by the label’s biker-chic pieces, like leather moto jackets, vests and sweatshirts with PVC sleeves.  And who doesn’t need one of KARL’s classic collars? Here’s hoping a new shipment is on its way.
