History Makers 2011 has nominated The Real Face of Jesus? for Best Historical Drama Production. Past Award winners include HBO's Trouble the Water and Busting the Berlin Wall. Awards will be announced Jan 26th thru 28th in NYC.

Jefferson Premiers August 24th

History Channel will premier Jefferson Tuesday Night (Aug 24th) at 8pm. This documentary embraces and celebrates Thomas Jefferson's complicated life and legacy. It is the story of an American icon who remains, in historian Joseph Ellis' memorable phrase, "a great American Sphinx."

The Lost in the Sun team has attached the amazing casting duo - Kerry Barden and Paul Schnee. Most recently, Kerry and Paul cast the new Hilary Swank film Betty Anne Waters and the Conan re-boot. The Real Face of Jesus premiers March 30th at 9pm on History Channel

The documentary I directed with the Left/Right team will premiere on March 30th at 9pm eastern. This documentary is unlike anything I've worked on. Ray Downing, 3D artist, attempts to decode information and bring to life the image that is embedded in the Shroud of Turin.

The doc doesn't attempt to solve any religious mysteries but simply aims to see what the person behind the shroud actually looked like.

I was skeptical about Ray's ability to bring to life an accurate image of the man in the shroud. But the results are amazing. Whether you believe in the authenticity of the shroud or not, this doc should please. It's about Ray's process of decoding the info in the cloth as well as the long history of shroud itself.
