It’s not easy to obtain Nexstar Select Service certification. Each year, Nexstar Network (a nationwide network of heating, air conditioning, electrical and plumbing contractors to which Tri-City belongs) conducts a series of independent surveys that measure customer satisfaction, financial stability and employee enthusiasm with their jobs and employer. Their surveys extensively reach customers and employees to obtain a realistic picture of a service provider’s performance. To even be considered for certification, service providers must score in the upper half of all three categories of which more than 300 independent businesses participate. In addition, Nexstar Select Service certification requires these independent companies to subscribe to a code of ethics, and a customer-oriented operations model.

Your A/C unit is working overtime today

It's hot out, really hot! On days like these, days your A/C unit is working overtime and may need some tender loving care. A great place to start is to make sure the area surrounding your outside unit is clear (no overgrown shrubs/landscaping around it) and make sure you have a clean air filter in the furnace. The easier you make it for your unit to work efficiently, the better and longer it will serve you!
