From Gallup.Com: Americans Split on Afghanistan Troop Increase vs. Decrease

Forty-two percent of Americans believe President Barack Obama should increase U.S. troop levels in Afghanistan, either by the roughly 40,000 Gen. Stanley McChrystal recommended (35%) or by a smaller amount (7%). However, slightly more Americans, 44%, favor a reduction of U.S. troops in that country.

Opening links with Firefox

Why do your newsletter links open in Internet Explorer when you seem to be such a supporter of Firefox? I, too, use Firefox and would like to open your links in it.

Some problems just never go away. This is one of them. Apparently, lots of people struggle with this.

There's nothing in our newsletters that makes them open in IE. I'm not sure that's even possible. The problem is in Sheila's computer.

Actually, it's not a problem. It's just a setting. Sheila needs to make Firefox her default browser.

Different Windows versions handle this in various ways. But whichever version she uses, the fix is not difficult.

On 11/09/09 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Teddy L. Berry, DOB 04/24/60, white male for driving while convicted of being a habitual motor offender. Berry was stopped near the corner of Wilson Ave and Whitney St after making an improper turn driving a white Ford Taurus. A check of his Tennessee drivers license showed that the license was revoked and Berry had been convicted of being a habitual motor offender since 03/30/1987. Berry was arrested without incident and is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center under a $5,000.00 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County Sessions Court on Monday, November 09, 2009 at 1:30pm.
