Best of Both Worlds Release Party 2/6/13

That's right folks! We will be releasing our Best of Both Worlds Stout this Weds. Feb 6, 2013. Doors open at 4pm and close at 8pm. This stout has been brewed with coffee, chocolate, and raspberries. We will be selling pints and growlers. This is a limited Rufus Series release and won't last long. Please join us and enjoy. Cheers.

Raleigh Times Event (Dec 8)

If you recover from our Winter Stout release on Friday night Dec 7 at your local Tyler's come out and join us at the Raleigh Times on Saturday Dec. 8 for a cask of our IPA dry hopped with Columbus Hops. Beginning Brewing 101 "Brewing with Extract" on Your Stovetop @ the Durham Cookery Saturday, September 29th noon - 3:00PM Rick Tufts Owner of Triangle Brewing Company We're going to lay the groundwork for the rest of your brewing education! As with every new skill, it helps to learn to do things the right way the first time and dispel some of the myths, mysteries, and possible fears of brewing at home. Learn how to brew great beer in your kitchen using, extract malts, hop pellets, yeast and water. This is an introductory course, so no experience necessary! This class has been designed for the would be brewer who has either purchased some basic equipment or is thinking about the idea of brewing. This is a hands on course that will cover wort/mash production, boiling, hop additions, cooling, yeast, and fermentation. Everything you need to know to go home and produce your first solo batch. 2-3 hour course with a 45 minute follow up at Triangle Brewery to sample the final result (approx. 3 weeks later). Still feeling the effects of our 5th Anniversary Pub Crawl. We feel the Double IPA went over very well and is still available. Toast, West End Wine Bar, The Roxy, Devines, and Alivia's were great hosts. Joe Don Silvers rocked out our favorite country hits, special thanks for singing the Gambler for Abby! Thanks to all who joined us. There is still plenty of work to do before this summer is over. New equipment to setup and install as well as plenty of beer to brew. August is almost here, which means we will start brewing the Abbey Dubbel in a couple of weeks to make sure its ready for the fall season. It will be difficult to say goodbye to the Farmhouse, but it will still be around until Sept. The Habanero is currently available and pouring at a few locations, plus the brewery. We have added new staff, so if you haven't met Leon, he is our new assistant brewer! Oh yeah, Andy turns 40 on July 28! Beers anyone?! Cheers.

5th Anniversary Pub Crawl

Come join TBC in celebration of our 5th Anniversary. We will be doing a pub crawl in Downtown Durham and releasing a special anniversary beer. Our 540 Double IPA for the Chronically Late. This bad boy is 9.5% abv and dry hopped beyond belief. We start at Toast at 3:00pm. Please get there early if you want one of their kick arse sandwiches. Finishing at Alivia's with live music from Nashville Recording Artist Joe Don Silver. He'll be banging out the country hits. Hopefully, we won't feel the need to step up to the mic and spit out some lyrics. Cheers.

Farm House Release Party

Triangle Brewing Co. will be releasing our NEW summer seasonal on Thursday 5/31/12 at our brewery. Doors open from 4:30-8pm. Cash bar and growlers to go. We will have a food truck on site for feedings.

Our Farmhouse Ale “aka Biere de Garde” is homage to the highly drinkable "every day" beers from French-speaking Belgium. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop flavor and a beautiful rich creamy head. This modern farmhouse ale, like those of old, serves to refresh and sustain the would be worker of his time with its ability to soothe sore muscles and coax the spirit to go back out in the field again the next day. We hope that this Farmhouse Ale does the same for you! Santé!

New Tanks Arrived!!

Triangle Brewing Company is extremely pleased to announce that we medaled in 5 different categories at the Carolina Championship of Beer in Hickory, NC. We won a Gold Medal for our Belgian- Style Strong Golden Ale, a Gold Medal for our Soured Bourbon Aged Abbey, a Bronze for our Winter Stout, a Bronze for our Imperial Amber, and a Bronze for our NEW Belgian- Style Lambic. Thanks for everyones support. We have all of these beers currently on draft at the brewery except the Soured Bourbon Aged Abbey. So come by and try them this Saturday at our tour. Cheers.

New Beer to Be Released!!

TBC will be releasing our Belgian- Style Lambic this month! We don't have a release date yet, but it should be towards the middle of the month of April.

Triangle Belgian- Style Lambic is a crisp and tart refreshing beer that draws its flavor from the unique fermentation character imparted by the yeast in the primary fermentation. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness while the yeast fermentation also creates a sourness on the sides of the palate, reminiscent of a traditional lambic style. That sourness, is combined with a subtle cereal note from the malted wheat and is perfect for our hot Carolina days. 6.8%abv. 2011 Silver Medal at the Carolina Championship of Beer!
