Here i'm going to introduce 2 free twitter tools which will help you maintain a good follower ration and tips on how to get more followers
First of all let me tell what a good follower ratio is, and why it is so important
an ideal or good follower ratio is between 1.0 and 1.25, which will help you gain more followers.
so when you are following 100 people and you are being followed by 125 you're ratio is 1.25 which is ideal
and if you follow 1000 and you're being followed by only 100 its 0.1 its bad. because in the eyes of others it means that you're randomly following others just to make a lot of followers and the followers you have are spammers who also is trying to make a lot of followers .!

You can unfollow talkative once who fills up you're timeline and keeps on flooding 24x7 i men't the spamy once. once with no profile pics are usually some spammers account which are automated so you can unfollow them too

Previously I had shared the 6 sexy chrome extension for Google plus power users and here comes the 7th, the smart one.

How to update your Facebook page using blog RSS feed

To do this we are going to use an app called RSS Graffiti to access it go to http://apps.facebook.com/rssgraffiti/ .once you are in this application there will be an option to Authorize RSS Graffiti.

Once you authorize the app you'll see your fan pages listed on the left hand side of the panel, select the fan page wihich you want to automatically update with your blog RSS feed. From there you can add RSS Graffiti to that fan page and after adding it to your page it will ask permission to write on your page wall and when the permission is granted it will show an option to add your blog RSS feed URL. Add your feed URL and next time you write and article you don't have to worry about publishing it in your fan page

Facebook unleashed 3 cool features that allows you to easily find new Games and play with your friends, this is a great step against the New gaming features rolled out by Google+.
the first one is the addition of the "New game ticker", which allows you to see a seperat stream of your friends gaming activities, their scores and achievements. you can also control who sees your activities with each individual apps, by going to privacy settings.

The next feature interests me more that is they have introduced a "Bigger screen for games", making it more interesting to play with.

And the third feature comes in handy if you use a lot of apps and games. It is " Bookmakr your favorite" option with which you can keep the best ones at the top of your bookmarks on your homepage.

it really is good to see these new features added by facebook. wonder what comes next.. =)

Google+ to make it more fun and playful to use have added new games in it like the once in Facebook. Well its not available for all right now, but soon it will be available for all =). With these new addition of Google+ you'll be able to play with your friends in your circle and share updates about game for those who are interested to hear about it. ie you wont be bugged by game updates like in Facebook.

When these feature is available for you, you'll get to notice a new game button on the top near to the circle button

clicking the game button enables you to see the latest games updates from your circle, you can browse the invites you got, and checkout the games played by your friends recently. Here is a list of some of the Games available in Google plus

How to stay invisible for chat in the new Facebook Chat Box

Facebook is the best place to hangout with friends even if Google plus have a hangout option in it , if you are not in Google plus you can get an invitation to Google plus from here .

The looks of chat box has changed since Facebook enabled the Video calling option and it no longer shows friends by list making it difficult to go invisible with single click.
So to go offline to a specific group of people you have to create a group with them in it (you can do it from here ). once you have created the group say invisible click on the chat box then the flower like icon (small gear icon) located at the bottom of the chat box, then there will be an option to Limit Availability..

Once you click the Limit Availability option a pop-up window comes out with a list of Groups you have created. Put a check mark on the Groups from which you want to stay invisible and click Okay

note that there is another option on the top saying "Make me unavailable to:" you can change it to "Only make me available to:" to stay invisible to the rest of the friends other than those who are in the group(s) selected

This really help you if you have bugging friends or family members who dosent like you online 24x7 :P

As we all know Google plus and Facebook are now standing in front of the rest of the social networks , Twitter has rolled out two new features to make it more engaging than before, with these new features you can see if someone favourites or retweets one of your tweets, you can also learn which tweets are more interesting and inspiring to the people you follow.

The first one helps you see what's going on Twitter in relation to you. To access this feature allows you have to do is to open the new @username tab thus replacing the mention tab, and you'll be able to see which of your Tweets are Favorites, the latest retweets ( of your tweets), Tweets directed to you, and your new Followers.

The other one is the Activity tab who's porpose is similar to that of Facebook notification and Google pus notification . It shows the latest source of discovery by highlighting the latest Favourites, Retweets, and Follows from the people we follow (all in one place). thus making it easier to explore twitter

so hopefully with these new features twitter will be more playful and intresting to deal with, than the old times

Getting out of words? never again..! thats right now you don't need to stare at the blinking cursor or Google for the next word to express yourself, because Blogger in Draft have announced the availability of text suggestion and autocomplete feature of Google Scribe

Google scribe helps you to write more effectively by suggesting common words and phrases as you type. It supports Arabic, Dutch, English, French ,German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. The language is automatically detected using the text in the post.

Enable this feature

To enable this option all you have to do is click the pencil icon in the toolbar on the top of the post editor, When the Google Scribe is turned on the text suggestions will be shown in gray and you can use those words by hitting spacebar or any other punctuation marks.

And if you like to get more than one word suggestion you can enable that too by clicking the Show multiple suggestions option in the drop-down menu near the pencil icon.

there are keyboard shortcuts too much, you can use Ctrl + j to enable/disable the Googel Scribe
Ctrl + Shift + j to select and deselect multiple suggestions
Esc to temporarily disable the suggestion and Tab to restore it

note that these features are only available for the Blogger in Draft users

How to add +1's tab in you're Google+ profile

If you haven't yet added the following +1 button to you're blog yet checkout the Floating Share buttons , the plus one button helps you to increase the Click through ratio of search results.
Okay lets get back to the point , by default there wont be a +1's tab in you're Google plus profile so you're friends wont be able to see what you have +1'd , its like you've liked some thing in Facebook and friends doesn't get to see it aweful right ?

How to fix it

what you have to do is go to you're Google plus profile and click on the Edit profile button

After that click on +1's tab then put check mark on the Show this tab on your profile and click save then finish editing

Now there your friends will be able to see what you have plus one'd in by clicking this tab, and if you haven't added me to your circle yet click here to add me and do plus one this post :)

The people widget located at the top right of youre message allows you to see contextual information about the people you are interacting with in Gmail

You can communicate with individual contacts easily through the people widget, or just use it to find basic information. Simply click on the contact’s name on the right side. From there, you’ll see:

Information about your contact, which may include information such as their email address or occupation. This information comes from your account’s Contact Manager.
Recent buzzes your contact has posted that are visible to you
Recent email your contact sent you
Google Calendar events if your contact’s Calendar is shared with you
Google documents shared with both you and the contact

You’ll also be able to easily email, chat, or call your contacts using the call phones in Gmail feature, or edit contact details and settings.

If you have several contacts on an email thread, you can look up individual contact information as described above, by clicking the contact’s name in the People widget list, which will open an expanded view of information about that contact. On a thread with many recipients, contacts are listed in order of who last responded on the thread, who is currently online and available to chat, contacts that whose chat status are set to ‘Busy’, contacts whose chat status are ‘Idle,’ and then contacts who you haven’t yet invited to chat before. Previously i wrote about how to Get the new blogger interface which have a much better and refreshing interface than the one before, so few of the options have been shifted to other places

In the dashboard page you can see you'r primary blogs and at the left under the new blog you can see Other blogs option once you select the blog who's template HTML is to be edited click on the Template tab
once you click that tab you'll see a live preview of you'r blog and an option to customize it , and below are some blogger templates

Go further down and there will be an option to Edit Template along with Backup / Restore template and Revert to classic template options
Note that the Expand to Widget template option which was located at the top right of the HTML editor is now located at the top left of the html editor

First of all go to blogger [go] then go to design click add widget or edit widget (which you want to be translucent) add the code given below at the top

Blogger has introduced the new user interface , with much better navigation and fresh looks

New Interface

They have added new features such as option to change the favicon in the layout page and showing number of visits and comments in each post in the Overview tab and the page layout is much better than the one before, so is the New post page. The earning page is also going to be modified

To get the new Interface all you have to do is go to draft.blogger.com [go]

Blogger in Drafts is equivalent to Google Labs were you get to enjoy the latest features earlier than other users

Video calling enabled in Facebook

Sometime an emoticon just isn't enough. With afce-to-face video calling, now you can watch you'r friends smile, wink and LOL ... yep that's right now you can do it all in facebook

Before you can call you're friends, you need to complete a quick one time setup
Go to www.facebook.com/videocalling [go]
there you'll see an option 'Get Started' click it , now select a friend from the chat box the download the setting , Then click on the Set Up button and one the setup is complete you can select a friend from the Chat box and to start the video chatting click on the video icon on the top right of the chat box , or Go to you'r friends profile where you'll see the call button between message and poke button

Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari supports this facility
Even if you don't have a webcam you can make video call, you'll be able to see and hear you'r friends but they will only be able to hear you

Windows 7 trouble with Briefcase solved ~!

If you have created a briefcase form windows XP and you have changed the operating system to windows 7 , you will have trouble opening the Briefcase ie it will take more time than usual to load .

How to solve this

what you have to do is create a new Briefcase and replace the desktop.ini file in you older briefcase with that of new one .

Steps for getting desktop.ini files
Once you have crated the new Briefcase go to
command-prompt and type [path of briefcase] in my case it is E:\Briefcase
then type
attrib -s -h -r
now check the new briefcase and it will show the desktop.ini file
now copy it and paste it in the older Briefcase (this will replace the desktop.ini file in the older briefcase).Close the briefcase and refresh~! now it will work fine

There is another problem that is Database file of briefcase getting corrupted . it happens when the data sync gets interpreted
once it gets corrupted you wont be able to access any files in the briefcase directly

Solution

create a new Folder change its icon, its necessary to change the icon
then go to command-prompt type the path then the attrib -s -h -r
now you'll get the desktop.ini file from the Folder paste it in the Briefcase (This will change the briefcase to a folder ) now you will be able to access you'r files saved in the briefcase
