Can The One stand victorious over The Danger Zone? Facebook Prelims: #UFC161: Mitch Clarke vs. John Maguire     Mitch Clarke might be the 'Danger Zone' but if there's a fighter who will trespass into this Canadian's territory, it's John Maguire.  Rightfully so, considering he's 'The One.'    At age 30, John Maguire (18-15-0) may be 3 years older than Mitch Clarke

The Miami Heat pulled away from the San Antonio Spurs tonight to take a win and put the 2013 NBA Finals Series Tied at 1-1.  Found this mashed up video of the clip when LeBron James rushes down the court for a crowd-pleasing dunk!  I love the gorilla chest thump at (time) 0:21secs So the series tied at one a piece and now heading its way to San Antonio.  Rooting for the

Glover Teixeira has to wait a fight longer until his (possible) shot at UFC Lightweight Championship  Can you believe it? At age 33 and 4 fights into the UFC, Glover Teixeira is sweeping the light heavyweight division by storm. With an impressive 19 (4 UFC) win streak , I wonder what does it take to prove to the UFC that he's done enough to earn a title shot? Apparently wait on the

Heavyweights always put on a good show.  - at least the best of them do. Cain and Bigfoot never failing to fit into that category. UFC 160 was no exception. Bigfoot went into the octagon with all the confidence you can hope to have going into a title fight. Fresh off his TKO win over Dutch kickboxer Allistair Overeem at UFC 156, Bigfoot looked as though he was ready to step with Cain.

Round 1 showed me that Mark Hunt loves the left hook … but JDS is more accurate with his - he connects a heavy one but not enough power for a KO. Hunt has one helluva noggin on him and recovers quickly. Both men taking advantage of their strengths - their standup skills. JDS with his swift, hard-hitting combinations. Hunt not afraid to be square in the line of fire, even stalking JDS

The beginning of the end is near.  Or is it?  Chael Sonnen will attempt to be the first to unseat Jon Jones from his Light Heavyweight throne.  It may seem impossible but that's exactly the uncertainty one needs to push himself to victory.  The sweet taste of the UFC light heavyweight championship belt may be touching to Sonnen's lips at the end of the night on Saturday (

Fighting for a shot at the title, Cat Zigano and Miesha Tate look to impress in this title contender matchup. Stayed up to see the opening of the 2013 FIA Formula One World Championship. "Kimi Räikkönen and his team were crazy with only 2 pit stops! Really?! #Jawdrop" This year decided that instead of going for Ferrari, I'm cheering for the Infiniti Red Bull Team of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. It's that time of year again!  Super Bowl XLVII is happening in New Orleans on Sunday, February 3rd! How exciting to find two coaches who are brothers, lead their team to this final game.  Obviously my favourite game of the year, not only for all the hoopla but also for all the prop bets! - oh you guys just know me so well. :) Once I figure everything out, I will let you know my

With the NHL Lockout over, I can dust off my gear and live the hockey life once again! Being that I am Canadian, Hockey runs through my blood. I mean, living in the 'True North' with Subarctic temperatures it's kinda hard not to love the game. I got a nice surprise this evening when I found a memory card hidden away in a purse of mine.  Excited, I quickly ran to check out what exactly was on it.  Photos of my dog, photos of my friends' dog ... and at the very end WWE photographs I took from an event I went to. John Cena and The Miz were headlining the show.  Out of the set of photos I took, these two were my

"If Michael Bisping wins, he gets the shot." - Dana White1 Last time Bisping was in such a position, Chael Sonnen grabbed the title shot. Michael Bisping felt robbed of the opportunity along with many of his fans.  Will he allow Vitor Belfort to walk away with a title shot he deserves? UFC 155: DOS SANTOS vs VELASQUEZ 2 SATURDAY, DEC 29, 2012. at MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA "Trilogy in the making?" I've asked myself this countless times this past week as I try to decide exactly which of these two heavyweights are going to come out on top.  And by 'on top' , I do mean standing over their opponent by the end of the fight.  As I do with most heavyweights, I expect that

Today just wasn't my day.  First I lose two-virtual $1's to @SurferKenLive on a friendly we made for Season 2 Ink Masters.  I had Tatu Baby - who didn't even make the Finals , and he took Steve.. then we went double or nothing on me with Sarah and Sebastian .. in the end, Steve won.  Of. I guess I managed to hype myself up for the X Factor live show way too much because last night's show did not do it for me.  Out of the 16 performances, I only liked the following 4: 1. I wish I was still in the JUNGLE! Probably one of the best trips I've had in awhile.  I believe this was taken in the Honduras?  My memory seems to have a snag but I do know that it was amazing there!  Considering I hate bridges over water, this picture turned out pretty awesome - you can hardly even tell that I'm hanging on for my dear LIFE!
