It shifts you out of powerlessness into the recognition of your own authentic power. It has always been about moving into the knowing of yourselves in your truth which is the base for enlightenment and embodiment. It created contrast, which brought clarity in the knowing of self. Once the contrast has served its purpose it is no longer required as an essential part of your journey.

If you can understand it from this perspective, you will see that the darkness has always been serving the light, even if it has been inadvertently. Interestingly, as soon as the darkness recognizes this is happening, it gets even louder and more desperate allowing the process to speed up leading to its own obsolescence even faster.
