The glow in the dark disco was a hit. All the kids loved it and some of the songs they played were: Crazy frog, i'm a barbie girl and California girls by Katy Perry. It was really fun. This is what Rowanne thought of the disco; ''It was amazingly fantastic and I loved the coke''
I thought the disco was awesome and I think that everybody loved it. Me and my friends were having so much fun, we were singing i'm a barbie girl and it was hilarious. They ran out of sweet so some one had to go to the shop. By Mrs Smith's class you could get some glow in the dark face paint. It was really cool! You could play in the playground but it was freezing so most people stayed inside but some people went out but they must have been mad. Oscar thought " It was very fun and a great success and it was great that lots of peaple turned up" It was amazing!

The pre-school opened on Friday 5th November. Lots of people were there for the opening and they enjoyed lots of cakes and tea. Everyone was so excited and couldn't wait for it to open. Mr Carter, Mr Grant, a Henley Standard reporter and Henley Mayor Jeni Wood were there. Julie Roden, co-chairman of the pre-school, thanked lots of people including Trinity School and Mr Robinson. Special thanks went to Nikki Schafer who designed the pre-school and gave her time for free. The pre-school has been raising money for over 10 years and managed to raise £65,000. Everyone is pleased to see lots of exciting things including an animal jungle house.

Hello today I'm going to talk about the poppy appeal.
Last year a man gave £10,000 to the poppy appeal. Lots of schools sell Poppies. We held a one minute silence is on the 11.11.10.
I bought a poppy on the 2.11.10.
Elizabeth L was drawing a poppy on the 3.11.10.It was really good.

Trinity pre-school has been upgraded!!! The building work has been going on for roughly 4 months and it is re-opening on Friday the 5th of November 2010. They are going to cut the ribbon for the grand opening. Iit took a lot of work!! They used lots of vehicles to make the new pre-school like diggers, cranes and vans with all the equipment in e.g.hammers, nails, nail gun etc.The colours are green and red. They have lots of equipment to play with like a climbing frame, big triangle music thing and a little pretend hospital. Find out a bit more in our next blog when we see them cut the ribbon!!!!

In the year 5 and 6 we are making 3D islands in the class. Amy thinks that making the 3D island in the class is really fun! Rowanne said that all the cutting of the cardboard makes your arm tired. I think that it is great fun but you get quite messy but that is the whole point .

This blog is about the reception classes . The toughest job in reception is getting the children changed for P.E . The best things are playing, learning and having fun with the sand pit, water wheels, climbing frame and a wooden train. The children's favourite is the climbing frame. In Geography they are studying European countries.
Hello, I am going to tell you about the Isle of Wight trip. On the 9th of September the year 6's went to the Isle of Wight for a week. On the13th thay went to Osborn house where Queen Victoria had a holiday home.The next day the year 6s had a room inspection and then did some orienteering, survival and camp firing. They walked 8 miles for 3 hours to Shanklin where they got to spend £4 and then they walked all the way back! The next day they went on a rock pool walk and climbed the cliffs. The next day they did a long walk to Shanklin to buy some gifts then they went home.

Play time monitors have to wear some bibs and some cool hats and help at playtime.
Table monitors have to help clear away the tables at lunchthis is fun,
O.H.P stands for over head projector which monitors use in Assembly.
Music monitors put music on in assembley at the begining and end.

We interviewed our cook Luca. Luca says it's very nice and exiting and he cooks 150-250 meals per day. It usually takes 3 hours to cook except on Wednesday and Friday. Luca likes making Wednesday's roast.The chives, rosemary and bailey all come from the gardening club. Luca cooks main courses and Heather makes the puddings. Luca finds serving ok but is tired after a long day. The menu includes breaded salmon fillet and macaroni cheese with a chocolate sponge on Monday, cottage pie and jacket potato with cheese and baked beans on Tuesday, roast pork and apple sauce and yorkshire pudding with cornflake cookies on Wednesday, chicken and sweet pepper pasta with viennese apple tart on Thursday and on Friday small fry fish and cheese and tomato pizza with an ice cream tub with orange wedges.
The most popular day for school dinners is Friday and then Wednesday.

Hello again,today I am going to write about Fairtrade week.
While the year 6's went to the Isle of Wight we had a fun week about Fairtrade. In Fairtrade week we did chocolate tasting, making class poems, making adverts advertising Fairtrade products and we also made ourown Fairtrade sign.
People found Fairtrade week very exciting and most people saidrite thing was chocolate tasting- of course.

On Friday the 1st ,the harvest festival took place at Holy Trinity church. The Foundation were really cute singing Big Red Combine Harvester! The year 5's did a presentation about their Fairtrade project. The upper juniors sang two songs, Harvest Samba and Living Learning. There was heaps of food which people had donated. Emily C Said "I enjoyed the adverts that the year 5's did especially Abi, Oscar, Ben and Tom's advert but I did enjoy Mae's as well." The harvest festival was great and hopefully everyone enjoyed it!

The people who like doing victorians are:Alana W,Tiah H,Katie T,Elizabeth L,Lydia M,Nikita G,Saphi H and the people who don't like victorians as much are:Callum G,Dorje G,Lottie B,Holly S. But they might change their minds.
Mrs McNaughton said that we are going to find out about schools, inventors and Queen Victoria.
