JAZZ GUNUNG BROMO, is an international music show featuring ethnic jazz compositions, held annually in the Bromo mountains. This year, is the 10th musical event which ever held in on it. it brings a different nuances in the world of performing arts music, as well as being a place to love music with another feel. Alternative Way to go the Venue

By Train, Check Train Schedule: PT. KERETA API Indonesia

From Surabaya to Probolinggo: Mutiara Timur Train. You can take train from Gubeng Station, Surabaya to Probolinggo station. Then you can use public or taxi transport from the station to Bus station "Terminal Banyu Angga". From this station, use local public transport to Ngadisari. Note you must stop near The Hotel Java Banana Bromo and the venue is located near the hotel.
Malang to Probolinggo: take train from Stasiun Kota Baru, Malang to Probolinggo, then the rest destination is the same with the instruction above.

By Bus

From Surabaya, take the bus from Purabaya station, Bungurasih to Jember or Banyuwangi. You can stop at the Banyu Angga station in Probolinggo. Then follow the instruction above.
From Malang, you must go from Arjosari station to Probolinggo.

Bromo Jazz festival returns in next August 18-19 2017. The festival will be held at Jiwa Jawa Resort Bromo, Wentoro village, East Java, with the performance from various musicians both local or international such as: Paul McCandles with Charged Particles (US), Monita Tahalea, Dewa Budjana Zentuary, Glenn Fredly feat. The Milky Way Point Bromo Park

Secret Hidden Spot of Milky Way Point - Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Bromo mount is one of the most popular destinations in Indonesia. It is located at the south of Surabaya or about 2 - 3 hours trip by car or motor bike. The golden sunrise of Bromo mount become one of the most favorite activity according tourist and visitor. But there are many attractive alternative things to do in Bromo National Park such as enjoying sunset, camping and meet the Milky Way above the Bromo area in clear night sky.

To do this activities, the Bromo park can be reach from several way including Pasuruan, Probolinggo and Malang (please read route guide bellow for further information). And available many views point such as:

Penanjakan #1 or Mount Penanjakan / Viewpoint #1. This peak is one of the most common to meet Bromo sunrise before entering the volcano area. This peak is located at the north of the caldera. It can be reach from Pasuruan and Malang. At this point the formations of the Bromo mount is bacward of mount Batok and the end is Semeru. They are in line.
Penanjakan #2 or Mount Penanjakan 2 / Viewpoint #2. This viewpoint is located along the Cemoro Lawang to Mount Penanjakan #1 or about 6 kilometers away from the Cemoro Indah Hotel. In this area you can get stunning views without the crowds and allow of 90 minutes for climbing up at a steady pace and bring a flashlight at night. The formation of the mountains almost the as the viewpoint #1

The other unofficial viewpoints are: the peak of Kingkong hills and Bukit Cinta (these two viewpoints are located in the same area), Seruni hill, the peak of B29 and B30 from the Semeru mount area. Thus, there is a The photographer viewpoint available also in Bromo mount. It is well known as secret viewpoint and one of the best peak among the viewpoints above. It has two sibling called Rogo Linduk, Rogo Nganti from the legend of Roro Anteng and Joko Seger (Kasodo Ceremony). This viewpoint is one of the excellent since provides sunset, sunrise, milky way, view of B29, Ijen and Raung mount at the east of Bromo caldera. The real name of this viewpoint is unpublished for specific purpose reasons. To reach this place, visitor must supervised by local pro guide and the slippery road may be so dangerous. The road can be passed by motor bike only or doing about one to two hours hiking. The area is pretty wide and capable maximum for 12 camps. The best time to visit this viewpoint is in the July to August (dry seasons). At this time, the Milky way tail will be in B29 peak and the body on above the caldera. Thus the wind at this period will not to cold so it may support to your activity to get nice weather and clear sky.

Anchient Love Witness of Plaosan Temple

Thousand Years Forbidden Love Story - Hinduism and Buddhism Temple. This is a story of Sri Kahulunnan or Pramodhawardhani (Buddhism), the daughter of Samaratungga who married with Rakai Pikatan in the Hindu tradition. The monument was built as the symbol of two different tradition which blend into a story of love. It formed into two main Buddhist temple, Plaosan Lor (North) and Plaosan Kidul (South). The temple also well known as Plaosan complex which consist a wide open area known as a Mandapa. The temple are separated by a road and has an entrance gate where guarded by Guardian of Dwarapala.

This temple has a linking with Khmer tradition which represent by one of the relief of Khmer prince. The relief is set at the inner wall room which identified wearing his crown. The complex was built into 174 small buildings, 116 Stupas and 58 shrines. The Bodhisattva divinities are found adorning the outer walls with the majority of them are male. The complex has many inscriptions which written as a gift of sanctuary by Rakai Pikatan. Like no other temple complex, The Plaosan temples had been made up of an upper and lower level which separated into three rooms. In the lower level, multiple statue was set in to specific position, but today only two statues of Bodhisattva seated on each place.

The temple complex also has similarity with the Prambanan temple. The story backward of it also similar. It was built as a gift of the tradition of purposing a woman. And both temple only separated about one kilometer away. It is located at Bugisan village, Prambanan district, Klaten Regency, Central Java or northwest of Prambanan temple. Best visit of this complex during the dray seasons (August - September) to meet beauty romantic golden sunrise which represent the Sri Kahulunnan and Rakai Pikatan love story. You can enjoy the views from the location and continue it to Prambanan afterward.

Transportation (Trip/Tour Route) & Cost: the Plaosan temple is located near the Prambanan temple. It is about one kilometer away to northwest. To reach this place you can ride rental car, motor or ojek (Motor taxi) from Yogyakarta center. Just follow the main road of Prambanan you will reach the place easily.

Note: Rent car or motor vary from the provider. It is about 100.000 IDR - 200.000 IDR/day for motor and about 300.000 IDR per day for car. Entrance Fee = free (but there is donation box there. You can do charity at this point and you may fill the guest book). Parking fee = 1000 - 2000 IDR.

Alternatively you can buy package tour ticket from the Prambanan - Ratu Boko temple 25 USD for adult (above 6 years) and child 12.5 USD or Borobudur - Ratu Boko 27 USD and Child 17.5 USD. The shuttle bus available near the area but you must to make sure that they will pass this temple. Special request must be made at the international office for custom itinerary.

There are many things to do in Bali. Enjoy its beaches, nature and cultural life are the most common things to do in Bali. Stunning Views Padar - Komodo National park. The ancient world heritage nature site (By UNESCO) which provides amazing views and destinations. Not only meeting the biggest giant lizard on earth - Komodo the dragon but also old times nature which being a host of many species of birds, deer, boar and so on. The Padar island and Komodo national park is located between West and East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It consists three large island including Rinca, Padar and Komodo itself.

The Padar island has four small island and three beauty beaches. The most popular beach among visitor is "The Pink Beach". The Legend of Raja Ampat (Four Kings)

The history of Raja Ampat (Four Kings) comes in many variations. The most popular version from the origin of Raja Ampat people is as follow. It was a couple husband and wife who lived in the area of Wawiyai Kabui village near the Kabui bay. When they were seeking a food into the forest, they reached on the Waikeo (Wai means water and Kew means bay) riverbank. They found six dragon eggs. Then the eggs stored in the noken (the origin Paupua people bag) and kept it at home. At night they found the five eggs already hatched into four sons and one daughter. They wore the royal descendants. These children named: War who become a king in Waigeo, Betani in Salawati, Dohar in Misool (Lilinta) and Mohamad in Bantana (Waigeo). The female child named Pintolee, was found pregnant, her male brother put her in the shell and floated her until she arrived in Numfor island. The other egg failed to hatch. This egg became a stone and it named Kapatuai but it was treated as a king. This stone put in a special room with two stones serving as guardians on both side of the entrance.

Thus, from the part of Indonesian history, Raja Ampat Archipelago was part of the region of Tidore Sultanate in the 15th century. This Sultanate was a great kingdom centered in Maluku Islands. To manage the kingdom, the Tidore Sultanate appointed four local kings to arrange the island of Raja Ampat where become the fourth largest island to this day: Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati and Misool. The term of four Kings who manage the islands becomes the lineage of the name Raja Ampat.

The Rare Blue Tentacle Jellyfish

Trip Advisor Indonesia - Danau Pulau Sembilan (Sembilan Island Lake), Labuan Bajo: is one of the rare salty lake in Indonesia. It is created from the ancient nature process which trapping the sea water into the island consisting of a circular coral reef surrounding a lagoon. There are two main lagoons in this area, the small and the big ones. The big atoll can not be entered without special permits. And the most common visit is the small lagoon.

The small lagoon of Pulau Sembilan is a host of the thousands rare blue tentacle Jellyfish. Though it is not dangers, touching the Jellyfish is not allowed. There traditions and local culture protects the area by specific rule before entering the area. There are as follow: spit off does not allowed during visit and life vest jacket must be wore during the snorkeling session and visitor forbid to stand against the corals. Thus, urinate also forbid and visitor must take bath at the outer sea water before entering the location.

The Sembilan island itself taken from the local words which mean the form of the island is similar with nine character. It is located at the north west of Labuan Bajo and belonging the Komodo of the dragon archipelago. This area is protected by UNESCO as the world heritage sites.

Unchanged Thousand Years Tradition

Trip Advisor Indonesia - Pura Tirtha Empul: a Balinese Hindu temple which consist of a "Pertitaan" or bathing structure. It is famous as holy spring water where Balinese Hindus go to for purification ritual for more than a thousand years and still almost unchanged until today. The Balinese worshipers have been drawn to the temple whose sacred spring has been created by Indra and to have curative properties.

It is located at Tampaksiring, Gianyar Regency or about 25 kilometers to the northern of Ubud (45 minutes by car or motor bike). the main building divided into three parts including front yard "Jaba Pura", central yard "Jaba Tengah" and inner yard "Jaba Jeroan". The two bathing pools itself is located at Jaba Tengah with contains 30 showers. Each of them named accordingly such as: Pengelukatan, Pebersihan, Sudamala and Pancuran Cetik (poison). Tirtha Empul temple is dedicated to Vishnu - the supreme consciousness Narayana.

Trip by car or rent motor bike, follow the main road of Ubud to the north part of Bali. The sign of location are displayed every where or follow the map bellow. Special for motor please park at the top of car parking. It will cost about 2000 IDR for park charge and for car about 10.000 IDR.

Trip Advisor Indonesia - Benang Kelambu Waterfall is one of the sexiest tropical escape destinations in Lombok island. It is located about 40 kilometers away from center Mataram (The Capital of West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia) or in Aik Berik Village, Batukliang Utara Sub-district, 22 km north of Praya. The Benang Kelambu waterfall provides 5 groups of nature waterfall including three unnamed waterfalls, and twin watterfall Benang Stokel and Kelambu itself.

The Benang Stokel waterfall means "A Ball of thread", depicting the finesse of the falls size. And the water flows onto a small stream, so the clean with beautiful pebbles fresh water can be enjoyed right through. The variety of moss vegetation, crawlers and small trees are decorating at the rocky sides, making it looks green, fresh and beauty. The water's ice cold fresh is blending with the hot tropical environment, make it perfect escape place for tropical destinations. While it can stimulate your soul and spirit into healthy atmosphere. Thus, the waterfall is about 20 meter high trough the steep rock face and provides quantity of fresh iced water.

The Benang Kelambu is located about 1 kilometer away from Stokel point. It can be reached by 30 minutes trekking or ridding a car. The waterfall is about 35 meters high and perform much greater than the Stokel waterfall. It is hanging on the air so it seem like a decorative framework to conceal curtain fixtures at the top of a window casing.

The best accommodation is using rent car or motor bike. It is recommended to use local guide. If you would like to do yourself, please take care the sign of the waterfall route or see from the following map. The Taka Bonerate is also well known as small Raja Ampat in Papua. It provides beauty and exotic white sand beach, blue ocean, best dive and snorkeling spot. It is host of many variety coral and fish species including Dolphin and Pelagic fish. Taka Bonerate is the third widest atoll in the world.

Thus, the "Sumur Ikan" is one of the famous destination in this area. It is like a bowl-shaped cave underwater where become a home of hundreds fishes. In addition enjoy canoeing or swimming with baby shark of Black Tip at the evening can give wonderful experience in Tinabo. The blue clear water and its clean white sand is one of the best stunning view when the night falls down. Or enjoying camping and snorkeling at Lantiagang may give great activity within Taka Bonerate area.

Fujiyama/Taka Bajang Pogo: underwater coral mountain. Its shape like Fujiyama (Japan)/Taka Bajang Pogo mount in local culture. Within area you can find the Tiger Fish and other fish species including unidentified fish, Chaetodontidae, Pomacenthridae, Pomacantidae, Lutjanidae, Serranidae, Carangidae, Balistidae, Ostracidae, Scorpionidae, Apogonidae.
Jinato Wall Paradise: it is kind of wall dive spot with various fish species such as Butterfly fish, Cardinal fish, Angelfish, Grouper, Surgeon fish, Damselfish, Batfishtrevallies, Snapper, fusiliers, Sweetlips, Wrasse, Parrot fish, Trigger fish, Bumphead fish, Scorpion fish, Lobster, Eagle rays, Nudibrands, Crocodile fish, Moray and Kima. The temperature range of this area is about 27° – 29° C.
Pasitallu Raja: this spot provides nude/natural hard and soft coral about 45 – 58% and dominated by Butterfly fish, Cardinal fish, Angelfish, grouper, Surgeon fish, Damselfish, Batfishtrevallies, Snapper, Fusiliers, Sweetlips, Wrasse, Parrot fish, Trigger fish, Bumphead fish, Scorpion fish, Lobster, Eagle rays, Nudibrands, Crocodile fish, Moray, Sea fan and Kima.
Caldera: it is kind of reef flat spot with temperature range about 28° – 30° C (common spot).
Heamulidae: the wall reef spot with various fish species like Heamuldae, Phyllidiella and Plectrohinchus.
Hantu/Ghost (Wall reef): this spot temperature is about 29° C and the underwater view provides a wide-less object. This area is dominated with hanging or Acropora SP coral.
Kolam Gantarang (Reef flat): this spot located at the Taka Gantarang. It is bordered with reef so the coral as if living within the lake "Kolam". 90% of this spot is covered by the coral and its visibility range is about 14 meters.
Tebing Gantarang (Wall reef): the reef is dominated with the Acropora. It grows sideway at the underwater sea cliff and formerly like a branched desk. This location is a host of rare fish species including Sea cucumbers Thelenota rubranilata, Starfish / Linckia laevigata, mollusk and others.
Bulu Ayam (Reef flat): the coral density within this area is about 90% (soft or hard). It is also dominated with chicken feathers "Bulu Ayam" (Agalaophenia cupressina) coral.
Lembaran Daun (Reef flat): this spot is dominated with Acropora and Foliose coral which grows like a leaf. This location also a host of Kerapu fish, Sunu, Katamba, Simampara and other sea life species.
Tabulate (Reef flat): this spot recommended for any level of diving skills. the environment supported great views and diving experience. The depth of this location is 5 - 15 meters.
Uka (Reef flat): this spot is dominated with horn coral (Acropora palifera) and also become a home of various reef coral fish species.
Pinky Fish (Reef flat): it is located at Tarupa. This spot is a home of Pinky fish, other colorful fish, variety of echinoderms species such as Linckia laevigata starfish, Yellow and black sea lilies, Sea cucumbers, and several types of Sea urchins.
Wall Reef #3 (Drop of wall): this spot is located at Latandu. Its temperature is about 27° - 30° C. This location is a home of Butterfly fish, Cardinal fish, Angelfish, Grouper, Surgeon fish, Damselfish, Batfishtrevallies, Snappers, Fusiliers, Sweetlips, Wrasse, Parrot fish, Trigger fish, Bumphead fish, Scorpion fish, Lobster, Eagle rays, Nudibrands and Crocodile fish.
Corina Corner (Reef flat - Drop off): this diving spot is located at Big Tinabo. Its visibility is about 10 - 15 meters. It is dominated by Trevallies fish, Snappers, Fusiliers, Sweetlips, Butterfly fish, Cardinal fish, Angelfish, Grouper, Damselfish, Batfish, Wrasse, Parrot fish, Surgeon fish, Trigger fish, Fish bumphead , Scorpion fish, Lobster, Eagle rays, Nudibranc, baby shark and turtle.
Acropora point (Reef flat - Drop off): this location also in Big Tinabo. The depth is about 15 meters and has medium to strong flows.
Wall Reef #1 (Drop off/Wall): this dive spot is located at Latondu. It depth is above 20 meters with domination of sea life including Sanpper, Sweetlips, Baracuda, Butterfly fish, Cardinal fish, Angel fish, Damsekfish, Grouper, Batfish, Wrasse, Parrot fish, Surgeon fish, Trigger fish, Scorpionfish, Morray, Crocodile fish, Pelagic fish and Tuna.
Ibel Orange 1 (Coral Mounds): It is located at the big Tinabo with depth about 15 - 20 meters. Its surface covered by 35 - 65% of hard and soft coral.
Taka Mallori: this diving spot is located at Jinato. It is a home variety of reef fish such as Chaetodontidae, Scaridae, Serranidae, Lethrinidae, Mulidae, Balistidae, Ostracidae, Tentraodon dan Scorpionidae. Since the location is not deep enough, this spot really fit for any level of diving skills.

Travel Advisor East Nusa Tenggara, The forgotten jewel from east Indonesia - Alor island. It likes no other island within Indonesia archipelago, Alor typically dry island which its temperatures relatively high. It is about 22,2 C to 32,2 C in average range. Travel Advisor Event - Tour De Singkarak 2015 will be held on 3rd - 11st October onward. It will be the largest 7th annual bike race event in Indonesia. The event schedule had been changed as the announcement in the official of UCI Road Calendar Asia Tour. Tour De Singkarak will be animated onto nine stage process, including exploration of West Sumatera area and its cultural destinations.

This annual event is published by official of West Sumatera tourism department under supervising of Indonesian ministry of tourism and others organization such as local region government of West Sumatera, PB ISSI and tour event promoter. The Tour De Singkarak calendar can be seen also via Union Cycliste Internationale website.

This year, Tour De Singkarak track will be aimed through various destinations such as Kelok 44, Kelok 9, deathly mount, Sileh Hills and also cross to the beauty West Sumatera environment, Singkarak Lake, Twin Lake, Harau valley, Minanjau Lake, Lawang peak, Jam Gadang Bukitinggi, Sawahlunto, Istano Basa Pagaruyung, etc. Those destinations provides extreme track which give great challenge to all racer with total distance of 1.300 Kilometer.

Trip/Tour Route to West Sumatera (Padang): Padang easly reach by air craft. From Kuala Lumpur, flight to Medan and continue to Padang. Direct flight may available from specific provider. Stage 1: 3 October 2015, start at Carocok beach, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan and finish at Gondoriah beach, Kota Pariaman. This rout total about 136 kilometers and crossing the area of Carocok beach , Tarusan, Bungus, Teluk Bayur, Padang, Bandara , Tiram beach and Gandoria.
Stage 2: 4 October 2015, total distance 120 kilometers, start at Tiram beach, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman and finish at Singkarak lake, Kabupaten Solok. This route is the most extreme and deathly mounting track.
Stage 3: 5 Oktober 2015, total distance about 157 kilometers, start from Desa Wisata Kabupaten Sijunjung and finish at Koto Baru Kabupaten Dharmasraya. The rider will cross these following area: Air Paneh , Maloro, Kamang, Kiliranjao, Pulau Punjung and Koto Baru.
Stage 4: 6 Oktober 2015, total distance 160 kilometers, start at Muara Labuh, Kabupaten Solok Selatan and finish at Taman Wisata Kandi Kota Sawahlunto. Tracking will cross through: Padang Aro, Muara Labuh, Surian, Twin lake, Bukit Sileh, Solok, Muara Kalaban and Sawahlunto.
Stage 5: 7 Oktober 2015, total distance 145 kilometers, start from Jam Gadang, Kota Bukittinggi and finish at Istano Basa Pagaruyung Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The track are include Jam Gadang Bukittinggi, Kapau, Ngarai Sianok, Panta, Malalak, Sicincin, Lembah Anai, Padang Panjang, Rambatan and Istano Basa Pagaruyung.
Stage 6: 8 Oktober 2015 with total distance about 135 kilometers. Start from Ngalau Indah Kota Payakumbuh and finish at Lembah Harau Kabupaten 50 Kota, rider will cross the area of Ngalau Indah Payakumbuh, Pakan Rabaa, Balai Tangah, Puncak Pato, Batusangkar, Baso and Payakumbuh.
Stage 7: 9 Oktober 2015, this track is one of the shortest and also well known as extreme track. It is about 98 kilometers. Start at Equator Bonjol Pasaman through Lubuk Sikaping, Rimbo Panti, Talu and finish to Simpang empat, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.
Stage 8: 10 Oktober 2015 with total distance about 121 kilometers, start from Simpang Empat Kabupaten Pasaman Barat through Kinali, Lubuk Basung, Muko-muko, Kelo 44 and finish to Puncak Lawang Kabupaten Agama.
Stage 9 (Final Stage): 11 Oktober 2015, total distance 110 kilometers, start from Serambih Mekah Kota Padang Panjang to Lembah Anai , Sicincin, Padang, Kampus Unand and finish at Padang beach.

It's also the location of Dunhill fine cut video shoot and well known as unique holidays or vacation destination in Lombok. The Dunhill fine cut itself has introduced to Indonesia market around 2013. The concept that bring the tag line of "fine cute" cigarette product really fit with the location that built from the sea and windy abrasion. The cliff and Batu Payung is cut perfectly by nature so it has apart from main ground.

The Batu Payung is located inline with Kuta beach. It is about 5 kilometers away to the east or the same location of Tanjungan beach and Merase Hills. From the parking area, you should walk about 600 meters away through the rocky beach and the location is hiding from the main hills. When you reach the location you will find very windy amazing view with the wild southern blue waves around it. At the west you can see the Merase hill and at the east the beauty horizon of the sea enjoy your eyes of beaty nature.

While enjoying the environment, you can climb to the cliff backward of it and follow the path into the top of the cliff. Please mind your activity it maybe very dangerous and there is no life guard there. At the wet season the cliff path may be slippery, so best recommendation to visit this place at 12.00 PM to 17.00 PM (dry seasons). The batu payung itself accordingly from local people means Umbrella stone since the shape from various sight like umbrella or mushroom. So do not miss it when you were at Tanjungan location, the uniquely view is waiting to spark your trip to Indonesia.

They has about 2 until 5 meters wave which fit for those who love surfing. Like no other place, Selong Belanak ideally comfort for surfing class or beginner. The hot atmosphere and windy from the south ocean, provides perfect weather for surfing.

The Selong Belanak is located inline with Mawun beach. It is about 30 - 40 minutes away to the west or about two hours from Mataram or an hour from Kuta area by car or motor bike. From the main road, a beauty exotic tropical views may appear or some wild monkey can be found around the area. But please do not stop at the main road it will so dangerous for attacking. The smell of the ocean and farm from the local village are mixing together, burning the aromatherapy and exploding the fantasy of Lombok land. It will give extra bombastic experience of tropical escape while riding through the hills and road.

Thus, the long white sand crescent beach also perfect for enjoying sun batting or tanning spa. Transportation (Trip/Tour Route) & Cost:

Mataram: the only way to reach Selong Belanak are using car rental or motor bike rental from Mataram. It take about two hours trip with the rute of: Gerung - by pass Internasional Lombok Airport - Batujai, turn right when meet cross line until meet Bonder - Mangkung. Or the same route to Kuta - Mawun Beach.
Kuta: follow the main road of Mawun to the west - Selong Belanak Beach. It is about 30 minutes from the mawun beach.

Note: Entrance ticket 10.000 IDR for Motor and about 20.000 IDR for car or bus. Thus, motor rent: start 75.000 - 100.000 IDR/day, gasoline, parking and ticket are exclude.

Riding rental motor bike is recommended for those who ever visit Lombok - experienced with the Lombok landscape and local culture. It may be very dangerous for new visitor.

Travel Advior Culinary Lombok - Nasi (rice) Balap Puyung, originally made by Inaq Esun (madam Esun) from Puyung village, central Lombok. It has been establishing since 1973 with the native name as Nasi Kaput. It made from Nasi with Chicken Plecingan (super spicy sauce with the origin of sasak ingredient) and Serundeng (meat cotton crackers) which wrapping in Banana Leaf.

She sell Nasi Kaput at the Kebon Roek traditional market as her secondary job. Since she also has fish store at that place. By selling Nasi, she expected to earn extra money and advance her business into a bright future. Amazingly, the nasi kaput well become famous around the area. And now days, Nasi Kaput well known as Nasi Balap Puyung. It had became one of the most famous native Lombok culinary.

As the business increasing, Nasi Balap Puyung began to introduce for local market in 1990. It sell at home, in the puyung village, kecamatan Jongat, central Lombok. From this steady place, Nasi Balap Puyung sparkling its name into around Lombok and it will miss the lombok aura and energy if we never try this kind of culinary. From the mataram to Koeta beach or from the Airport, the puyung village easily found across that destination. It placed in main road and about 50 meter away from the road by entering small gate of the village.

Trip Advisor - Lombok, NTB (Nusa Tenggara Barat): Lombok island is located at the east of Bali Island. Like no other land in Bali, Lombok has many variation of vacations destination. The most attractive are about the landscape of its beach, sea and mountain. The beauty beaches can be found easily through west, east, north and central Lombok.

Kuta Area is one of the most popular region in central Lombok where many beauty sea and beach can be visited. At the west of it, a white sand beach with smooth windy hills, warm weather and blue ocean water can be traveled to recharge body and soul with fresh aura of tropical energy. It is also a perfect place for sun bathing or tanning spa and meditation. While enjoying swimming there also possible. And it may a good place to escape from routine, enjoy reading book or get some inspiration from nature side. That place is called "Mawun Beach". It is relatively a new Lombok holiday destination, so it will not crowd by local or international visitor.

The Mawun beach is hiding through the hill from the main road to Selong Belanak beach - beginner surfing spot where located at the west of Kuta Beach. It can be reached about 2.5 trip by motor or car from Mataram or about one hour from Kuta. There are many activity to enjoy this beach, walking around near the area will give a different experience like no other place in Indonesia. Some seasons, the beach provides a contrast color of exotic tropical view like green from the hill, blue from the sea and white glowing sand at the wet time.

Transportation (Trip/Tour Route) & Cost: to reach Mawun beach relatively easy both from Mataram or Kuta area. Just follow the guide map bellow if you drive with the motor.

1st time in Lombok: please use rent car or travel guide since the area not reachable by public transportation.
2nd time: you can use motor rent to reach the mawun beach. Better you go with a group of backpacker of traveler.

Note: Rent car from Mataram will cost about 500.000 IDR/day vary from the rental provider and your deal. It will include driver, gasoline and entrance ticket or parking may possible. By this rent car you can reach also other destination as information bellow. No tips for the driver. Thus, motor rent it start 75.000 - 100.000 IDR/day, gasoline, parking and ticket are exclude. Entrance ticket 10.000 IDR for motor and about 20.000 IDR for car.

Safety visiting max until at 04.00 PM since the area does not provides any light and hotels. It may so dangerous if you ride motor lone at dark. Driving rental motor cycle recommended for those who ever stay in Lombok island.

Trip Advisor Indonesia - Lombok Culinary: Sate or Satay Bulayak is one of sate varian, originally made from Lombok Island - NTB (West Nusa Tenggara). Like no other satay, the Sate Bulayak is cooked with special ingredient from Lombok. The taste similar with curry but it is made from peanut sauce with coconut milk and palm sugar.

Thus, the sate itself cook from various meat, basically they use feedlots meat but it is possible using chicken or seafood.

The Bulayak from the origin of Sasak language means Lontong or boiling rice with palmyra or Borassus flabellifer leaf bale. The sate bulayak can easily found around Lombok island especially Mataram, Segigi, Kuta, others place. Alternative native culinary: Ayam Taliwang, Sate Rembige and Sate Tanjung.
