ARE YOU A PSYCHO?!?!?!?

2012-09-12T10:54:00.000-07:00

I can still remember hearing about this group that B-Real was gonna put out a record with. What is this Psycho Realm going to sound like I wondered. Is it going to be a Cypress Hill Jr kind of thing? Then the day came when I went down to the local music store and got my hands on the new release The Psycho Realm in 1997. HOLY SHIT. I instantly became a fan of these voices coming through the speakers and taking over my brain. Sick Jacken, with his distinct flow and voice, and the one and only Big Duke, with his unmistakable PSYCHO ass voice and flow, became one of the groups that I listened to on a fucking daily basis. I love this album and still bump this shit as much as possible.

BIG DUKE FOREVER MUTHA FUCKAS...."Now you got a gun your life's a Psycho Realm. My strategy, assault battery, running through yo neighborhood in clicks of three. Smoking in the battlegrounds and wild streets and wild show downs, enemies take a look around"

Enjoy this video. And if you have never listened to these classic albums.... GO BUY THE MUTHA FUCKAS AND SUPPORT REAL HIP HOP. CA ALL DAY!

WHO THE FUCK IS NARDWAUR?

2012-09-07T09:07:00.000-07:00

Yo I just stumbled on a couple of interviews by this crazy looking Canadian named Nardwaur. His interview style is pretty dope and he appears to dig up some shit from the stars past that has them a little freaked out. Tyler the Creator straight says, "are you with the Feds" in his interview.

Peep out these interviews I found with A$AP Rocky and the whloe A$AP Mob, Odd Future, and the one and only Snoop Dogg.

Straight out of the Money Earnin Mount Vernon, they followed up with the 1992 LP release of Mecca & The Soul Brother.

This joint continues to be one of the songs that heads everywhere can recite word for word. Enjoy, and "Bring back that ol style of Hip Hop".

CLASSIC SHIT COMING TO SOCAL

2012-08-24T12:42:00.000-07:00

Yo, shouts out to the new owners of the Observatory in Santa Ana for bringing that real Hip Hop back to SoCal. If you don't know about this place, it used to be called the Galaxy Theatre. Truly one of my favorite places to see a show. It is small so the vibe is very intimate, unlike seeing someone at a 17,000 seat venue. The performer is literally 50 feet away from you. I would definitely recommend that you check out a show there,

And here is as best a reason as ever to go to http://www.observatoryoc.com and buy some tickets. On Friday, September 28th, the legendary WU TANG CLAN member, GZA, will be playing the entire classic Liquid Swords album. What a fucking treat! That album is one of the greatest to come out the WU solo projects without a doubt. The tickets are 20.00 to see the man do his thang, so get yo ass logged on and cop them duckets.

WHO DOESN'T LIKE FREE MUSIC?

2012-08-24T12:01:00.000-07:00

If you are a D BLOCK fan, or a fan of HIP HOP, get your computer ready and hit the link below to cop this free album from STYLES P. This shit has 11 joints on it and its a banger. This free shit is better than some of the shit kids are dropping 15 bucks for from these so called rap stars of today.

The Diamond Life Project includes guest appearances from Jadakiss, French Montana, Pusha T, Bun B, Curren$y, and more. Production credits go to Jahlil , Lex Luger, The Alchemist, Poobs, and more. Yo if you are a fan of this Hip Hop shit, cop this album for your collection. ITS A BANGER!

BUSTA RELEASES NEW ALBUM FOR FREE

2012-08-21T13:51:00.000-07:00

Watch out now! A FREE album from a living fucking legend. Thats right, the man we know as Busta Rhymes, Busta, The Dungeon Dragon, and Busta Bus, has blessed the hip hop world with a new album. To sweeten the deal he has released the shit for FREE! You can go to the link at the bottom of this story and click to cop this new record.

From his days with the Leaders Of the New School, to his reign as the General of the Flipmode Squad, to countless solo albums, Busta Rhymes has ripped mics and bodied beats with the best of them. He truly is one of the best talents the Rap world has seen. When you hear this man growling over a beat with that signature voice, you know that a legend in the rap game is present. I can still remember the first time I ever heard "The Scenario" on the classic Tribe album The Low End Theory!

This album includes guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, Gucci Mane, Camron, Maino, Robin Thicke, and more. It is FREE so get your copy and bang this shit.

http://www.datpiff.com/Busta-Rhymes-Year-Of-The-Dragon-mixtape.387074.html

Here is Busta Rhymes with L.O.T.N.S and A Tribe Called Quest performing "Scenario" on The Arsenio Hall Show in 1992. Here we go yo!

ILLMATIC FOREVER

2012-08-20T13:16:00.000-07:00

There are alot of new heads in the rap game nowadays. And that brings along alot of new fans to the frontline. I would like to welcome all of these young bucks to the show and would like to let'all know that Lil Wayne did not start this shit. As part of a history lesson provided by this site, I would like to invite you to reach out and get your grimy ass hands on a copy of this CLASSIC HIP Hop album. Nas just performed on the second night of the San Bernadino edition of the Rock The Bells concert series. I am sure he ripped shit, but I am also sure that there was more than one under 20 in the audience pissed off that Soulja Boy wasn't headlining the show.

I have recently peeped out the VH1 Behind the Music on Nas and found out a few interesting facts on the man named Nas. Did you know that Russel Simmons had the opportunity to sign Nasty Nas to Def Jam and passed. What a big mistake. Or how about the fact that Nas did "NY State of Mind" in one take. That song is a classic and that shit sounds so smooth, its hard to believe. But according to Complex magazine, “If you listen to ‘N.Y. State of Mind’” continued Premier. “You’ll hear him going, ‘I don’t know how to start this shit,’ because he literally just wrote it. Before he started the verse, I was signaling him going, ‘One, two, three,’ and he just goes in.”

Easily one of the Top 5 Hip Hop albums of all time, Illmatic still gets play in the rides of many hip hop fans around the world. And if you happen to run into a youngster that has not heard this album, let that cat listen to yours and lets educate this generation of skinny jean wearing heads.

NEW MC EIHT MIXTAPE

2012-08-20T11:03:00.000-07:00

If you live in Cali or anywhere else in the USA, and you grew up with Colors, Boyz N the Hood, and Menace II Society, you have heard of this Compton G. MC Eiht has been relatively quiet for a while now, but this Bluestamp Music release of the DJ Nik Bean mixtape, puts the man back in the conversation. The Comptons Most Wanted veterano has been lacing the ears of Gs for over two decades now. If you forgot how dope this man is, get them old CMW albums out and hit some gotdamn switches in that '64 Impala.

This mixtape gets down and is defenitely worth the download. The mutha fucka is FREE on this Livemixtapes.com shit. Track 3 "You Dont Know Me" is worth the time to download this 16 track heater. And remember "theres gangstas everywhere".

Here is the link to get your download on. http://www.livemixtapes.com/download/18429/mc_eiht_allstarz_strapz_3.html

Yo Rock The Bells..5 Days

2010-08-16T08:11:00.000-07:00

Yo say it aint so. FIVE DAYS to go and Rock the Bells will be bitch slappin ears all over San Benadino. Mr Dookie Rope himself will be smooth walking all over that stage with the blinged out eye patch and enough gold dangling around his neck to buy a Roscoes. Great scott are you a thief, seems like you got a mouth full of gold teeth.

This video was dope back in the day, and still is. The song is a great story and the visual is ridiculous. This will be a great day and it will definitely be one for the history books. Yo you will regret not being there so don't sleep. Get them tickets.

Rock The Bells... 8 days

2010-08-13T08:46:00.000-07:00

Yo here we go. We are almost under the one week mark until RTB smashes through San Bernadino. This is one group that alot of people are dying to see. I actually caught them at that RTB in the parking lot of Angel Stadium for the first reunion show a few years back. Tragically, that show went from hype and really wide open and dope, to somber when they announced in between acts, that ODB had passed away that day.

So here is a joint off Midnight Marauders for your listening pleasure. Get yo tickets and represent Southern Cali Hip Hop heads at this historic show. Click Here to get to the link to snatch up some tickets.
