Happy 8th Anniversary SS501!

Hi guys! How are you all doing? As you all know, SS501 just celebrated their 8th anniversary last June 8, 2013. 8 years! Wow, isn't that amazing?! Maybe you're wondering why I'm suddenly back, before any of you guys get your hopes up, NO, I am NOT returning to blogging. I just have no time to blog anymore, sorry to say. I get a lot of comments expressing disappointment but I hope you guys understand. Blogging takes up a LOT of time, and I just don't have the luxury of time anymore. So anyways, why am I here now posting this? Well I'll tell you... I'm sure most of you already know this... last night, I randomly logged on to my Twitter and I saw some tweets saying sweet Kyu Jong actually tweeted one of the fanvids I made from my Love SS501 Series: Part 1 - Wings Of The World. And true enough, look! I should have this framed and hung on my wall! Haha!

And Young Saeng even retweeted it!

I was like, "NO WAY!" I couldn't believe it. It felt so surreal for me. After all these years, Kyu finally stumbled upon my video and just decided to tweet and share it with all Triple S, on their 8th anniversary NO LESS! That makes me SO PROUD! And I just thought it deserves a special post in here. So here I am, positively glowing with pride. I made that video with all the love I feel for them and all I've ever wanted was for them to be able to see how much Triple S loves them. I hope that somehow when Kyu saw the video, it was able to at least bring a smile to his lips.

I'd like to take this chance to thank the wonderful Green Peas who took the time to watch the video and left some really nice comments on my YouTube video page. It really means a LOT to me guys. You have no idea how much I miss the love and energy and passion that the Triple S community exudes. I miss fangirling and the good old harmless stalking, and screaming and the excitement of fanmeetings. The last I had an encounter with SS501 is when I went to watch Leader's fanmeeting in Hong Kong last year in May. I got to shake his hand after the fanmeet and we shared a couple of seconds eye contact! I was absolutely swooning. Hahaha.

You guys have seen the boys' 8th anniversary video message, eh? This was uploaded originally in junusofficialtv YT channel. Much thanks to shirbogurl4 for subbing it in English.

Glad to see some things never change. JM is still pretty much their spokesperson. Baby is still being bullied (after all these years!) haha. Tom & Jerry moments are still apparent. Kyu is still the sweet, soft spoken guy ever. YS still a shy prince. And JM is still as loud and fun as ever. Oh how I miss them. It's too bad Leader wasn't with them. He probably has a schedule he can't get out of, but that's okay. We know he still loves us.

I miss SS501 TERRIBLY. For the past 2 years, I've been busy with my life, but never did I give up on SS501. I may have stopped blogging or tweeting or making vids, but in my heart, I'm still patiently waiting (like every TS around the world) for the boys' comeback as a group. Five together as one on stage again. And I don't know about you, but I'll never stop believing. If the boys themselves say that SS501 isn't coming back anymore, then I'll believe them. But no, they made it clear that SS501 is still very much alive. All five of them: Leader Kim Hyun Joong. Prince Heo Young Saeng. Center Kim Kyu Jong. Sexy Charisma Park Jung Min. Maknae Kim Hyung Jun. Wonderful, kind hearted, talented boys we've grown to love so much. They're all grown up now but they're still the same dorky boys we saw in "Thank You For Waking Us Up". Their friendship and bond as brothers is and always will be UNBREAKABLE.

Triple S Pretties, wherever you are in the world, always remember, LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST. Make new friends, get married, have kids, build your own families, GROW. But ALWAYS ALWAYS have a SPECIAL SPOT in your heart for SS501. These 5 boys touched our lives in so many ways, they deserve our LOVE and LOYALTY until the VERY END. Let's show them that Triple S is still strong and waiting for them, okay? We're a FAMILY. And families don't turn their backs on each other. Let's hold on to our faith. FIGHTING! I love you guys! Hope to see you all in person, cheering our hearts out during SS501's COMEBACK and WORLD TOUR!

Hiatus.

Hi guys,

I thought it was going to be just a short hiatus, but it turned out longer than I expected. I miss blogging and I miss SS501. Words can't even describe the withdrawal effects I'm having, ever since I stopped blogging. I've been following our boys' solo activities, but I just don't have time to blog anymore. Life is so busy for me right now, and frankly speaking, I don't know when I'll come back to blogging. It's not an easy decision. But one thing's for sure, I will never stop being a Triple S. I love these 5 boys so much and news of them everyday continue to make me sane and relieve my stress. Everyday, I still silently follow SS501, keep myself up to date with what's happening to them, and I will always support them. I'll wait for the day when they will come back as a group. When the 5 will be 1 on stage again. I appreciate the pretties who are still visiting this blog and I hope someday, I can still come back. I'm sorry for those who are disappointed. :( I'm sad too, but I just can't deal with blogging at this point in my life. So I'm currently on pause, indefinitely. I hope you guys understand, and I hope you will never give up on SS501. I miss you all.

Heo Young Saeng amazing voice imitation of Kim Kyung Ho's "It Makes Me Sad" on "Change The World Quiz" makes everyone to give him a standing ovation.

Solo comeback Heo Young Saeng participated in the variety show "Change The World Quiz" and because of his imitation of Kim Kyung Ho's "IT Makes Me Sad" which caused a huge interest.

On 21 May MBC broadcast the weekend variety show "Change The World Quiz" gathered SS501 solo activities Heo Young Saeng and Kim Hyung Jun making it a star-studded show.

From the opening of the show, Heo Young Saeng received a huge extraordinary support from Kim Gura.

When Heo Young Saeng was being asked "Have he prepared any voice imitiations?", Kim Gura explained on behalf that "Young Saeng is really very good at singing Kim Kyung Ho's songs".

Kim Hyung Jun at the side also replied "It is exactly the same" making all the guests and audience in the show anticipating. After which Heo Young Saeng started singing Kim Kyung Ho's "It Makes Me Sad". His strong vocals totally awed everyone, and gave him a standing ovation.

Especially Kim Hyung Jun suddenly stood up from his seat, and without any stingyness in his applause and gave his hyung a total solid support which can see from his eyes.

Watching the show, netizens commented that "my goosebumps are all out" and "It is totally the same as Kim Kyung Ho" and "Even if he went to record on Kim Kyung Ho's behalf no one will even notice!" etc...

I was tensed and excited at the same time while watching Music Bank this afternoon and waiting with bated breath for the announcement of the winner for K-Chart. When they announced F(x) was the winner, my heart dropped. I really really wanted Young Saeng to win, and I think he really deserved to win. But oh well, no use bashing and ranting. We are, after all, Triple S, the most peaceful fandom. Kekeke. Anyway, what matters most is that YS made us proud, being up in the running for No. 1 just on his 2nd week of comeback! That's already a great feat, right?! We are so proud of you Saengie! You'll always be a winner in our hearts!

Pre-orders for Kim Hyun Joong’s 1st Mini-album To Begin This Week

Starting on May 20th, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong will be opening pre-orders for his debut mini-album all across Asia through Hot Tracks, Yes24, Interpark, Aladdin, and other online music sites.

KeyEast Entertainment stated, “Kim Hyun Joong personally participated in the overall production of the mini-album, so it’s especially important to him. Since it is his first solo album, it will feature tracks that embody who he is as a person.”

They continued, “Once news of Kim Hyun Joong’s album was released, Korean and international fans began asking an endless amount of questions about it. Thus, we’ve decided to take pre-orders ahead of its release.”

The album will officially drop online on June 7th. On the same day, Kim Hyun Joong will be holding a showcase with 5,000 fans, which will be followed by the album being available in stores on the 8th.

KeyEast commented, “Since he’s greeting his fans with his solo debut, he’s adamant about showing only the best performance possible. In order to create memories for his fans, he’s working hard on his live and performance preparations, so we ask for your anticipation.”

On the 19th of May during the broadcast of Mnet ‘Countdown’, Heo Young Saeng performed his solo song “Out the Club” and “Let It Go” passionately and with an air of masculine.

Heo Young Saeng Tops Hanteo Charts

SS501 Heo Youngsaeng has ascended on Hanteo Chart’s Weekly No.1 throne.

On May 12, Heo Youngsaeng who’s released his first solo mini album ‘Let it go’ had achieved No.1 for Realtime results on the Hanteo Charts with his album sales, and also No.1 on the Daily Charts. In addition to this, the total album sales across 4 days (until May 16) has also been calculated as a total of 17,000 pieces, which is thus No.1 on the Hanteo Weekly Charts. This is a very luxurious opening to his solo debut.

Heo Young Saeng (25 years old) in SS501 group as an "INDIVIDUAL".

On 12 May 1st solo mini album title song "LET IT GO" was released. When SS501 main vocalist Heo Young Saeng was in SS501, his exceptional treble vocals capability has already prepared him for a route of being a solo singer. Now that he has start his solo activities, he still have other plans ahead.

Q: Year 2005 debut as part of SS501 group, released a solo album for the 1st time. Seems to feel the burden?
YS: Firstly looking forward. But feel the burden. During the group activities, when I am lacking, the other members can be a good fill for me. At the same time during the recording of variety shows and also the shooting of MV too. Now that I am doing all this alone is making me feeling empty. But now that hundred percent of the focus is on me which is a good thing.

Q: During when you are having SS501 activities, ever have the thoughts of having solo activities?
YS: In actual fact, yes. But our schedules were totally packed during that time. Initially there were plans to release solo album, but it's a pity that it wasnt achieved.

Q: Comparing to group and solo debut are there are kind of look you wanna potray?
YS: If mentioned about Heo Young Saeng, people will tend to think about ballads. SS501 songs are usually dance songs, but because I am the main vocalist, thus the image of me as a ballad solo singer is more deep in people. So I asked my friends: "What should I sing?" I got "sing ballads" as the answer. "How about dancing?" "You will be remain better singing." Thus I find that those people really dont understand my thinking. I myself also like dance songs. Ballads which only sing will feel bored. Dance song can enjoy with the audience together.

Q: "LET IT GO" is not the usually dance song feel.
YS: The producer of Kara's hit song produced this song. 4Minute HyunA did a featuring for me. It is about a girl who have the faith in shouting her love and also can leave the guy kinda dance song.

Q: You are the 3rd SS501 member that start solo activities. Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Jun also started their solo activities. What are your thoughts?
YS: Although having solo songs is good, but solo activities is a bit lonely. Even though feeling lonely but still anticipate to see my own new image.

Q: Will SS501 still be together?
YS: In actual fact we did have plans to have a digital release. But due to that we are now in different companies and also are still in the midst of having our solo activities thus it is tough, everyone have discussed it. Members said: "If this is the case, let's build up our foundation by having all our solo activities, we will re-group again the next round." Even though we do not have any specific plan, but for sure that: "All the members still wants to be together."

Q: Kim Hyun Joong, Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Jun now are now in different companies states that: "The difference between us is that Young Saeng and Kyu Jong are both in the same companies, thus compared to other members, they do not really feel lonely."
YS: In any case better than other members who are feeling lonely. But with Kyu Jong we still have friends and colleagues which we knew from previous company which is good. And in DSP Media who have worked together before, the current CEO and also Lee Hyori noona, thus the feeling is rather good.

Q: Other than singing, are u interested in acting or other areas?
YS: Many. For a long time I have been quite concerned about acting. Due to that I started out as a singer, thus singing is still remain top priority. If there is a chance, I wanna challenge acting in dramas.

Young Saeng's comeback in Inkigayo today was DAEBAK! Love it so much! I liked it better than Music Bank! He danced and sang a bit more of "Out The Club" wearing those fantastic denim jeans and leather jacket. Aaah, love the choreography! Love the chest pump and also the way YS interacted with the camera. Soooo HOT! And "Let It Go" was fab as well with the lip biting, to the way he caressed the mic stand and everything! Aaah! Can't get enough of this guy!

Jung Min got back from Taiwan yesterday, and here are photos and a video of him at Taiwan Airport, flying back to Korea. He went secretly to Taiwan to attend the birthday of Producer Angie Chai and also was seen watching Avril Lavigne's concert.

Heo Young Saeng Puts Aside Group Period Image, Displays Own Unique Charm

Representing Korea, idol group SS501 have all gone to do their solo activities. Kim Hyun Joong has participated in acting, Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Jun have released their own solo albums. Heo Young Saeng and Kim Kyu Jong both have signed on together with a new company, and even held their fanmeeting together. Recently Heo Young Saeng also released his own solo album.

"Almost 1 year, because I trusted my current company, thus I choose to change my previous company. During SS501 activities period, we have worked together before. Now that I am in the same company as Lee Hyori noona, but due to her busy schedule, thus we only met each other twice. In any case I feel that it's a pity. Although group activities together would be the best, but still would like to have some solo activities. Currently I am quite upset separating from the members, but we still keep in contact."

During when Heo Young Saeng was having SS501 activities period, due to his outstanding vocals which is recognised by everyone making him stand out. Young Saeng also naturally said that his image postion thus being recognised as that. But this album however showcase his outstanding vocals and his musical talents. Title song "LET IT GO" is a very unique lively dance melody, which features HyunA member of 4Minute who participated in the recording.

"During last Nov entering into the new company, start preparing for the new album. Only start album production in this Feb. If the response for this album is good, we will only start the plan for overseas activities/promotions. Of course, must sing. This time, "LET IT GO" comeback stage will showcase me and my 6 dancers. I am very grateful to HyunA for helping me featuring in my song, but it seems that the fans are jealous."

12 May during the releasing of the album, other than the main title song, the album also consist of the song "OUT THE CLUB" which was produced by Tae Hwan who also produced RAIN's album, retro beat but full of modern feel "I'M BROKEN" and also "RAINY HEART" featuring Kyu Jong for the rap part.

During the process of the album preparations, Heo Young Saeng fratured his right hand while practicing for his dance, no choice but to delay the release of his album. Even though he has not fully recover, he still insist to go on with the promotions. Not only music activities, he also participated in all the recordings of the variety shows vigorously. We can see that Young Saeng is totally immersed in the album promotions with his energy and passion.

As a member of SS501, Heo Young Saeng stated: "Now that everyone of us will give each other encouragement. Currently it is hard for us to re-group together, but we will discuss this matter next year. Now the aim is to concentrate in promoting my own solo album. The only word which I can introduce my album is "Change of image", put aside the image that I have SS501, everyone will know after they have seen it."

Has always been giving a smile, Heo Young Saeng thus starts his solo actvities this year. Idol group SS501 members solo activities, have always gave been giving different images and charms to the fans, Heo Young Saeng too!
