While being in a positive mindset is great, it will not however prompt you into putting things into action on a daily basis, there for you will get no where in accomplishing your goals.

All of us are motivated by 6 different things. By using all 6 of these different motivators, it will allow you to easily propel yourself to getting everything on your daily action list.

By following the following 6 tips you will be able to make a constant improvement in accomplishing all your goals.

1) The desire of achievement

2) The desire to obtain power

3) The fear of not achieving

4) The fear of losing power

5) The desire of helping others

6) The fear of not being able to help others

If you go through each of these everyday as you set your daily goals you will naturally be able to motivate yourself.

If one of your daily goals was to work for 3 straight hours at doing different activities to get you more traffic to your site, you could do the following with the 6 tips that I gave you and apply each term like so…

“Getting traffic will better allow me to control my financial destiny because I have a list of names that already know and trust me therefore I can always tap into that traffic once I build my list from this traffic…” (desire to obtain power)

“If I don’t start getting traffic then I am doomed to the “hope and pray” strategy like a lot of people trying to make money online do, I would essentially be virtually powerless…” (the fear of losing power)

“Plus, once I discover an awesome traffic generating secret, I can share it with others and help them achieve their goals as well…” (desire of helping others)

“However if I don’t discover any new traffic generating techniques then I can’t help others. I will not be able to contribute and assist those I love to get away from unemployment checks and to be able to quit their jobs that they hate and therefor cry all the way home after dealing with unappreciative jack ass bosses….” (fear of not being able to help others)

“Plus at the end of the day, I know without a doubt that I will be able sleep peacefully because I have accomplished my daily goal. I played and conquered like the winners do and if I commit to doing this EVERY SINGLE DAY then I know without a doubt that my success is GUARANTEED!” (the desire of achievement)

“I WILL commit to doing this every day because if I don’t then I am just building an extremely bad habit of not completing my goals or anything. I do not want to get in this habit because if I do my life would be horrible and depressing. It would depress me because I would not achieve anything and be all that I can be. I would not live up to the full potential that God has placed within me…” (fear of not achieving)

Whenever you feel unmotivated and need a little boost just pull out this list of tips and apply it to the goal that you need to accomplish. It will motivate you to get to cracking your own whip and just Git-R-Done.

I hope this will assist you in accomplishing your daily goals because if you do this little exercise everyday it WILL make your life great. You will look back on your life in a year and will be truly amazed at all you have accomplished.

Live Strong and Live With Passion!

I have been a subscriber to Seth’s blog for a VERY long time and I have read all of his books, which are all fantastic. I really hope you will take the time to get his books and read them also especially if you are hoping to dominate your niche online. I read his post last week and it’s an honest assessment of the way things are online. It’s time to get real on the Internet. By the way, Seth’s book is available free as a download by clicking here ->-> “Unleashing The Idea Virus”. Please take a moment and read this post — it’s excellent! The following is Seth’s post verbatim:

The net has spawned two new ways to create and consume culture.

The first is the wide-open door for amateurs to create. This is blogging and online art, wikipedia and the maker movement. These guys get a lot of press, and deservedly so, because they’re changing everything.

The second, though, is distracting and ultimately a waste. We’re creating a culture of clickers, stumblers and jaded spectators who decide in the space of a moment whether to watch and participate (or not).

Imagine if people went to the theatre or the movies and stood up and walked out after the first six seconds. Imagine if people went to the senior prom and bailed on their date three seconds after the car pulled away from the curb.

The majority of people who sign up for a new online service rarely or never use it. The majority of YouTube videos are watched for just a few seconds. Chatroulette institutionalizes the glance and click mentality. I’m guessing that more than half the people who started reading this post never finished it.

This is all easy to measure. And it drives people with something to accomplish crazy, because they want visits to go up, clicks to go up, eyeballs to go up.

Should I write blog posts that increase my traffic or that help change the way (a few) people think?

Should a charity focus on instant donations by texting from a million people or is it better to seek dedicated attention and support from a few who understand the mission and are there for the long haul?

More and more often, we’re seeing products and services coming to market designed to appeal to the momentary attention of the clickers. The Huffington Post has downgraded itself, pushing thoughtful stories down the page in exchange for linkbait and sensational celebrity riffs. This strategy gets page views, but does it generate thought or change?

If you create (or market) should you be chasing the people who click and leave? Or is it like trying to turn a cheetah into a house pet? Is manipulating the high-voltage attention stream of millions of caffeinated web surfers a viable long-term strategy?

Mass marketing used to be able to have it both ways. Money bought you audience. Now, all that buys you a mass market is wow and speed. Wow keeps getting harder and dives for the lowest common denominator at the same time.

Time magazine started manipulating the cover and then the contents in order to boost newsstand sales. They may have found a short-term solution, but the magazine is doomed precisely because the people they are pandering to don’t really pay attention and aren’t attractive to advertisers.

My fear is that the endless search for wow further coarsens our culture at the same time it encourages marketers to get ever more shallow. That’s where the first trend comes in… the artists, idea merchants and marketers that are having the most success are ignoring those that would rubberneck and drive on, focusing instead on cadres of fans that matter. Fans that will give permission, fans that will return tomorrow, fans that will spread the word to others that can also take action.

Culture has been getting faster and shallower for hundreds of years, and I’m not the first crusty pundit to decry the demise of thoughtful inquiry and deep experiences. The interesting question here, though, is not how fast is too fast, but what works? What works to change mindsets, to spread important ideas and to create an audience for work that matters? What’s worth your effort and investment as a marketer or creator?

The difference this time is that driveby culture is both fast and free. When there’s no commitment of money or time in the interaction, can change or commerce really happen? Just because you can measure eyeballs and pageviews doesn’t mean you should.

In the race between ‘who’ and ‘how many’, who usually wins–if action is your goal. Find the right people, those that are willing to listen to what you have to say, and ignore the masses that are just going to race on, unchanged.

Expert Article

5 Killer SEO Tips to Get Backlinks
By Steven Clayton

Anyone who pays attention to SEO techniques knows that getting high quality, “do follow,” and diverse backlinks is the key to search engine optimization. The challenge, of course, is where to find places to get powerful backlinks.

Most people build their link building strategies around blog and forum postings. This makes sense and is certainly part of our plans as well. However, it stands to reason that Google also knows that most marketers who are using SEO tactics to rank their sites are doing this, and it makes sense that they will be looking for a much more diverse backlink pattern to award the highest rankings to.

With that in mind, I’m going to share the top 5 non-forum/blog backlink sources.

Squidoo Lists
Squidoo.com is a great place to get links back to your site. Type the following into a Google search:

“add+to+this+list”+site:squidoo.com

You will be presented with a huge list of Squidoo lenses where you can add your site, with custom anchor text. Many of these have very high PageRank as well!

For extra credit, append +”keyword phrase” onto the end of this query, and you can target your links for relevance. For example, if you were trying to rank a fitness site you could type:
“add+to+this+list”+”fitness”+site:squidoo.com

Web 2.0 Profiles
Many Web 2.0 sites that allow you to create profiles and interact with others provide high PageRank, “do follow” links to the web site listed in your profile. Some examples include www.linkedin.com, www.twibs.com, and www.zoominfo.com.

When creating profiles on these sites (which you could do for every niche you’re in) you’re able to list your web site, which becomes a high quality backlink to your site.

Article Marketing for Links
Most marketers are familiar with writing articles to get traffic, but we write most of our articles for backlinks. If you’ve put a link to your site within the article (and let’s certainly hope you’re doing that!), every article that gets posted becomes a backlink (or even 2 or 3). The more articles that get posted, the more links you can build.

To get started, you simply have to write the article and submit it to a few article directories.

With the start of not only a new year but also a new decade, I believe it is very important to have the right mindset. In my opinion Mark Yarnell has summed it up perfectly in the following article.

The Price Of The Promise

The Power Of Network Marketing

Mark Yarnell, minister in a small town in Texas, was headed for bankruptcy and just about to lose his car and home. He looked for a way out and discovered network marketing. Luckily, he had a wise sponsor.
The sponsor gave Mark “THE PROMISE”. “This business can set you free financially in one to three years.” But he also gave him “THE PRICE” “To succeed, you will have to face and conquer 4 major enemies.”

Mark said, “It’s a deal.”

Mark began by inviting 200 friends over to his house to watch a video. 80 said “No, not interested”

– Mark had encountered ENEMY #1: Rejection.

He thought, “No problem. My sponsor warned me about that. I’ve got120 people still coming over.” Guess what?

– He had just encountered ENEMY #2: Deception.

Mark thought, “No problem. My sponsor warned me about that. I’ve got 70 people who watched the tape.” Guess what? 57 said “Not Interested”.

– He had just encountered ENEMY #3: Apathy.

Undaunted, Mark thought, “No problem. 13 people signed up.” Guess what? 12 of them dropped out of the business shortly thereafter.

- He had just encountered ENEMY #4: Attrition.

Attrition had left Mark with just one serious associate. But to this day, that single distributor earns Mark over $50,000 per month.

Mark Yarnell’s story is NOT Unique!

You may have heard of Bill Britt, one of the most successful distributors in Amway. Some years ago, 20/20 did a feature story on Amway. They spent 19 minutes interviewing whiners and complainers – several distributors who had failed and showed the garages full of products they couldn’t sell. During the last minute of the show, Mr. Britt was interviewed in front of his palatial home. He was asked, “Mr. Britt, this business has obviously worked for you. What’s your secret?”

He replied, “There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200 people. 900 said, ‘No’ and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all. Out of those 85 only 35 were serious, and out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire.” Like Mark Yarnell, Bill worked through the numbers.

Jason Boreyko, former co-founder of New Vision, told this story recently. When he was a distributor in Matol, he signed up 50 people. He heard a lot of “No’s” on the way to those 50. Jason took one man, who he knew would be terrific in the business to lunch, told him about the business and the man said “No.” Jason took the man to lunch again the next month and told him the updates. Once again the man said, “No.” Jason sent him some more information and took him to lunch again the next month. And again the man said, “No.” That went on for six months. The seventh month, something had changed for the man, and he said, “Yes.” That man made Jason over one million dollars. Jason also worked through his numbers.

According to Richard Poe in Wave Three while starting Amway, Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel, America’s eleventh richest people, recruited 500 people. 495 dropped out. The five that didn’t quit built Amway. All $7 billion of Amway’s business was built under those 5 people. Jay and Rich had to work through their numbers. There are many similar stories. Jeff, the top money earner in Mannatech, signed up 27 people his first month.

One might think that he is especially talented at sponsoring. Actually, Jeff will be the first to tell you that he is not talented at all.

In fact, he feels that he did very poorly. To recruit those 27, Jeff talked to 2000 people that first month. And of the 27, the only one who did anything significant with the business was Ray Gebauer, who has more than half of Mannatech in his downline.

Jeff’s word to you is that the numbers never lie. Pick your goal and then get into massive action. If you talk to enough people, you will make it!

Here’s the lesson: Your success is directly related to the degree to which you are willing to work to find others like yourself who are committed to succeed. Mark Yarnell’s odds were 1 out of 50. (Jeff’s were really 1 out of 2000.) Would you be willing to go through 200 people to find the 1 who will make you $50,000 a month? Or go through 200 people to become a millionaire? Or hear uncounted “No’s” to sign up 50 people to find a million dollar person? I hope you will. It’s easier when you know the odds up front.

But here’s the catch: You have your own set of odds and you won’t know what they are until AFTER YOU’VE SUCCEEDED. So if you’ve gone through 50 or 100 people and you haven’t found 1 serious person yet, you can either give up and assume the business doesn’t work or recognize that you are working through your own numbers.

Are you willing to find out what your own set of odds is?

That means that you must pay the price for freedom. Remember that the numbers never fail you. Despite where you are in your skill level, your success is assured if you talk to enough people. And as your skill improves, so will your odds.

There is no such thing as luck in this industry. Winning big is a matter of being willing to pay the price.

Are you?

Your future is in your hands!

The choices which you make today will determine the course of your entire future.

May you have a Successful Future in all aspects of Your Life and 2010 be your break out year!

Today more and more home business owners are looking to social media websites for generating their own business MLM leads. For anyone in business, getting targeted leads is the key to growth and success. With the growth of social media websites, more and more home business owners are looking at ways they can use these online platforms as ways of promoting their own businesses, and finding targeted leads.

The first general rule in using social media is determining exactly what interests your target audience. You need to find a way of harnessing people’s interests to get them clicking over to your website. The best way to start is by becoming a member of the community and do your research. Find or develop a product you can give to interested leads that they must sign into to receive your product. This can be a simple report or any number of other things as long as it adds value to them.

One of the up and coming social media sites is Twitter, which has its ups and downs as far as its use in business. While the audience is growing there are so many “tweets” that few people actually read them all. Of course, writing a quick tweet doesn’t take long, so is something you can do in just a few minutes.

The best way to utilize Twitter is by posting a quality tweets, which will help get the word out. One strategy is to send out your tweets at the time a lot of people are getting online. It’s possible to use a tool such as Hootsuite to schedule posts. Another strategy is encouraging re-tweets, when other users re-post your message, thus getting it out multiple times.

Linkin is a business focused social network, so it’s definitely one to investigate. One tip for LinkedIn is to ensure your status is updated regularly. All status updates are shown on your profile, and are emailed to everyone in your network. To grow your LinkedIn network, post announcements on relevant LinkedIn groups, and even find out what other members want to know, so you can provide useful content. You can even consider creating a LinkedIn group once you get a couple of hundred members.

Other sites that can be useful for promoting your business are YouTube and Facebook. If you can create interesting, watchable videos and post them on YouTube you can develop quite a following (it also helps if you can promote your videos on other sites). Facebook is enormously popular, with millions of people across the world as members. Get a Facebook account and update your status regularly. Provide something of interest and value and you’ll soon get followers and qualified leads who want to know more about what you have to offer them. Right now Facebook is getting over a half million NEW members a DAY!! Talk about some serious growth!

Social media may be a fairly new phenomenon, but it’s going to be around for the long long time. Don’t stick to just one social media platform to promote your business, use different ones. Also don’t rely on social media alone. Update your status regularly, and find something interesting and useful for your leads and you’ll soon explode your business.

Just remember that social media is about building relationships, not spamming peoples facebook walls and etc. You want to give others value, encouragment, enlightment and uplift them. I also like to add a little humor as well.
