Playa Caracol is a known favorite for families with small children as the water is calm and shallow making it very safe for little ones to enjoy.

If you want a more secluded beach, you can drive up the coast and pick from numerous beaches off the beaten track which are nice and quiet.

Playa Marlin is well known as a sunbathers delight because of its tranquil setting and the bonus of magnificent views.

Playa Delfines is another strip of beach known for its amazing view but dangerous swimming conditions due to the strong surf and current.

Keep in mind that although the beaches are public, the hotels are considered private so it is not typical to be able to use the hotels facilities. And remember to check the status of the flags on the beach to alert you of current water conditions for your safety.
