Personally, I perfer wordpress. It’s widely used and robust.  You can download a lot plugins to tailor made to suit your style. Most importantly, these plugins are mostly “FREE”.  I have installed more than 20+ wordpress blogs and have found it to be most reliable platform to use.  I find it not only easy to use, but also it provides great flexibility and SEO benefits.

While Blogs have their own apparent benefits, they do have their shortfalls.   You need to be a bit tech-savvy, as these blogging platform requires constant version upgrades.  Hence you need to be able to work with cpanel and ftp program in order to be get up to speed with these blogging platforms.

Another reason that you need know about blogging is that it has its potential shortcomings, as you will be required to update your blog frequently.  Otherwise, your visitors will soon to discover that your site is out-dated and they will bounce from your site fairly quickly.  Blogging requires frequent update, which in essence is not a very good model for most businesses. You want something that you build once which will stay there for targeted readers to absorb your information as long as possible.

There are basically two primary tools I use to build website - one is Xsitepro and the rest one is Site Build It offered by Sitesell.com.  The only thing Site Build It is better than Xsitepro is that Site Build It offers more business tips and keyword research tools and a lot of other tools along with the website. Xsitepro, on the other hand, was unlike SBI!, it offers you a total Site Management tool, which you can build your website on your local machine.

You can view your site first offline, before you even upload it to your server. The only requirement you need to use Xsitepro is that you need to know how to register a website and how to use incorporate newsletter (e.g. Aweber) with your site.  In fact, if you are an intermediate internet marketer who only focuses on building your site fast.

Go for Xsitepro, you won’t regret. One slight comment, it seems the html editor is not really good. By that, sometimes, the coding and formating is not right.  I would also need to transport the codes to Microsoft Frontpage to edit it before putting it Xsitepro.com.
