The bed looks simple, but nice; I’d say it is rather elegant. Nothing more than a quality bunk bed. It has a front angled stair and safety rails on the top bunk. There are no shelves or drawers in this model, but since there is a space under the lower bunk, you can use it to store things or even add a trundle unit (but I doubt it will be convenient with the front stair unless you manage to remove it or use the trundle unit from the other side of the bed.

Be ready that putting the bed together will take some time: there are more than a hundred screws, I guess! But once assembled the bed looks solid and sturdy. The assembling process is not complicated but a bit time consuming.

There are good guard rails on the top bunk, and two at the sides on the lower bunk. The ladder is vertical and integrated into the bunk bed frame, so you can even add a trundle bed under this bed to extend its space saving properties; or you can put storage drawers under it.

The bed requires assembling, and there are tools included in the package; you should use a mattress of 9 inch thickness maximum, but you have to buy the mattress separately.

The second doll bed is 18 inch doll pink bunk bed; it is called Badger Basket Trundle Doll Bunk Bed with Ladder (Pink/White Color). The bed’s price is $35.99, and currently this bed is available at a pretty nice discount – you save $22.00! (The list price was $57.99)

Actually this is 18 inch doll triple bunk bed, i.e. it is the bunk bed with trundle unit under the lower bunk. Also there is a ladder at the front side of the bed. The bed’s design looks simple, but cute!

Since it is the triple bunk bed, your daughter can place three dolls there. The package also includes the soft bedding. The bed has attached pillows and looks very sturdy, which is very important if your child tend to be rough with toys. The ladder though doesn’t hook very well to the bed, but this is not a big issue. Another thing to consider is that the bed contains small parts so be careful when giving it to small children.

OK, what you should expect from it? It is shipped pretty fast usually; it comes in a nice package along with good manual how to assemble it. Once it is done, it seems to be pretty sturdy; its maximum height is 51 inches. The suede headboard doesn’t look cheap; it has a micro-suede fabric, which looks and feels smooth and pretty. The cushioning is moderately firm and is comfortable to lean against. If you want a black suede headboard it is truly black, and the whole headboard is perfectly crafted.

Although the headboard may seem a bit overpriced, nevertheless, it looks expensive and feels great when you use it.

There are few drawbacks there:

- There is a smell that comes from microsuede, which resembles a chemical smell; but it fades away after a couple of days.

Yes, that simple: a cane headboard of queen size; I just wanted to add some uniqueness to my bedroom, and to remind myself of the warm summer days. Well, anyway, I bought what is called Cabana Banana Wicker Headboard. This is a pretty plain headboard but nevertheless it looks nice, especially if you like such “tropical” style. I’m actually amazed how a simple headboard addition can make such a difference to your bedroom look. It is just dramatic! One headboard can give the whole another flavor to the overall room setting. I cannot say the exact style of my bedroom – probably it is a mixture of 2 or 3 of different styles, but I added this headboard and placed a tropical looking plant and now I even feel myself warmer being in my bedroom!

OK, few words about this piece of furniture. You can find the cane headboard for sale online – it is how I got it. At the time of writing this the headboard is available with a huge discount: at $365.99, while the original price is $705! If you are looking for something like this, consider this headboard, especially at such a discounted price!

But the headboard is not ideal, I must say. It was difficult to put together due to parts mismatch and wrong labeling. Predrilled holes looked weird and sometimes did not fit. It will also cost you something to return it.

But ultimately, when all the difficulties were resolved, and the headboard was ready, it looked really nice, and I must say that I really enjoy its look in my bedroom.

In terms of thickness capacity, the 3 3/8″ can go up to 1 1/8″, which is more than enough for most home woodworking projects. When you are talking about cabinets or coffee tables you hardly ever go beyond 1″. On birdhouses, jewel boxes and smaller projects thicknesses are even smaller. And even when working on doors, decks or other applications, you can use the great laser guiding system to make cuts on both sides. If you have one, you can use a jointer to enhance the edge to a great quality (if you don’t have one, check this one out).

Now more traditional folks will claim that the 7 inch is the better tool, because they’ve been using it for so long. That may be so for flooring, but for basic woodwork I would disagree and say that nothing beats the well made Rockwell circular saw. So far it has been able to handle everything that I threw at it with no problem. It is low maintenance, high precision, has a great laser sight and is one of the quietest tools I have. I am completely satisfied with it, and it fulfill whatever need I have of it. If you are a professional though, or old fashioned and feel like the 7 inch is the one for you, there’s nothing wrong with that.

Whichever one you buy, it goes very well with a jointer. As always you have to remember that either one of these are dangerous enough to claim a few of your fingers if you play around with it. So be careful at all times.
