On Tuesday 17th August 2010 a bullock team from Nowra turned up in the main street of Trundle. The team turned up to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Trundle Show.

A big crowd turned up to watch the 16 strong bullocky team.

June 2010 GOOLOOGONG COWBOYS (2010)
with a little help from Ian & Chris Mortimer we were lucky enough to have Royce Simmonds sign the current years Gooloogong Jersey.
Royce is originally from Gooloogong and it is thought that he was in the team the last time they played some 25+ years ago

June 2010 TRUNDLE FLOWERS (1995)
Another legendary jersey worn the day David Ward broke his arm.
David was playing Union at the time as player under the synonym of Beaver Abernathy.
During that game David scored a try and it was announced to the crowd that:
”That Trundle try scored by number 4 . . . . Colin “Beaver” Abernathy”
Being his first an only try, Beaver advised David it was his proudest ever moment.

June 2010 ARIAH PARK - MIRROOL (1985)
This 1985 Australian Rules Jersey slipped into the Rugby League Collection be stealth. It was worn by our cousin Lyndon Walker who writes:
”Here is an Ariah Park – Mirrool Jumper I wore in 1985 & 1986. You wont see the likes of this ever again, they are now on the endangered species list. The club folded in 2003” Thanks cousy bro !

Tour De Trundle

Once a month (1st Sunday of the Month) join the residents of Trundle for a gentle 1 hour bike ride around town. We usually cover 10-15kms and pass some small farms and sites around town.
If you are not a bike rider than just join a few people for a 1 hour walk.
Any when you are finished join us for a hot coffee, hot chocolate and cake.
There is no cost, just be outside the Hotel at 9.00am the first Sunday of the month and join the fun.
