Defending the right of people to support a cause that has a difference of opinion from another is directly on point to the headline of this information.

The biggest problem is all of the 2A groups in this country fight for the same thing but against each other for political top of the pile and all claim the other is to blame for their problems  when in fact its just corrupt politicians playing to both sides of the political spectrum for their own gain.

The 2A crowd is so loosely organized because of so many factions that don't want to work together or cant find a compromise for their differences. It make you wonder what a new gun owner thinks when they see us all fighting about petty issues instead of laser focused on solving the problem of liberal takeover.  If pro constitutional rights populists don't get a board of leaders of all these fractured populist pro-gun organizations very soon to all agree on a plan of action for 5/10/20 years out, the progressive liberal will continue to pick us apart like they cherry pick the Constitution and how they separated then shot Lavoy Finicum. When German solders refused to obey orders they were removed and shot in public for treason. Thinking highly skilled and trained solders wont follow orders, even unlawful orders, is lying to yourself. The military will always find a reasoning that sounds plausible at the time to the solders to enforce martial law on the public when they wish and take what they want or you die. Just ask New Orleans flood residents how that works.

Our far left progressive liberial government is not disorganized and is playing with the gun control handbook. Our cause is just and we have the numbers to take it back, but only if the grassroots start growing faster together as one unit, because the timeline the enemy is working on is closing in fast. This election is the most important one for the next 20 years or more.

The Enemy Is Us?

When leaders don't have the conviction to do what is necessary to ensure the survival of the general population - the initial victory will go to the combatant willing to commit unspeakable horrors in the defeat of the enemy populace unwilling to admit it has become pacifistic to the point of it's own self destruction. This is what the terrorist knows and why they are successful in combating the general populace of a country. We become so concerned with correctness and offending others that we ignore the very eve of our destruction until it happens in front of us. This pattern must not continue.

Multi-religious Pacifists are an important part of society as they are the artists and peacemakers that keep us enlightened. However, they are not the fighters and they realize they have no place being in command of the battlefield as war can not be won by politics and pacifism.  Progressives want no part of either and so will take a back seat and lose their power only won by appealing to liberal pacifism which will not be available as escalation continues..

When it becomes time to protect the population for the common good the Lib-Pacifists are always resistant until they become the targets of the destruction. That is when they are willing to unleash the Conservative Christian Fighters to do battle to preserve the way of life in America. Only when we fight a war brought to us do we win a war over our enemies. An army can only defeat another army, not an entire population that can fight for itself, as the Vietnam War is proof of. Our military ability is so destructive that a Liberal Pacifist President can not bring himself to end this quickly with collateral damage widespread which is why the change is inevitable. This terror must not continue.

That time has begun and its time to put the right person in office next election to lead us into battle in the near future with Islamic extremists and anyone else of any religion or country that refuses to denounce their methods of terrorism. Unless Islamic Muslims living here in the USA conform to our way of life and integrate into our social ways, renounce terrorism, jihad, and caliphate, and swear allegiance to our flag, country, and our justice system, they will be branded as jihadists and imprisoned as enemy infiltrators during this inevitable religious war ahead. Pearl Harbour Day should be a reminder.

The apocalypse has begun. The terrorists strikes will continue until we defeat it.  The liberal pacifist party's grassroots will help the conservative base elect a Conservative Christian fighter to protect them from something worse than us. Radical Islamic Jihadists are going to lose once again to the Christian Conservatives to preserve the Pacifistic way of our world. GOD Bless America.

As reported earlier this week, House Bill 562, the NRA-supported omnibus pro-gun reform bill, has been reported out of the Senate Judiciary II Committee on a voice vote with no changes. The bill is now on the Senate Calendar, and could be voted on by the full Senate on Monday evening.

Veteran halts gas station robbery, WALB, Albany, Ga. 07/17/15

Army veteran Don Rogers was inside a gas station in Sycamore, Ga. when a robber armed with a gun entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. Rogers responded to the threat by drawing a pistol and firing at the thief, striking him twice and causing him to flee. The robber made it to a waiting getaway car, but a short distance later the thief and his accomplice stopped the car and called for medical attention. Police captured the pair a short time later. Following the incident, Turner County Sheriff Andy Hester commented to a local media outlet, stating, "People are just sick of people running them up… And robbing, and stealing, and pillaging, and people are tired of it. These people that'll go out and do this kind of stuff need to realize- it ain't always gonna fare to their favor, just because they're a predator." Rogers told the same outlet, "I was hoping nothing like this would ever happen, but I was glad I had my weapon with me." Rogers added that he thinks every lawful gun owner should carry.

REPORT on FLORIDA PRO-GUN BILLS for the Week of April 6-10, 2015

On Thursday, 4/9/2015, two bills, important to gun owners, PASSED the House. One bill now goes to the Governor for his signature and the other bill goes to the Senate.

HB-7141 Tax Cut Package by Finance and Tax Committee and Representative Matt Gaetz (R-Shalimar) PASSED by a vote of 112-3 and now goes to the Senate.

The Tax Package contains language to remove the sales tax on Gun Club and range membership fees. The tax has been unlawfully imposed by the Department of Revenue in violation of the firearms preemption law. The bill also contains the July 4th Sales-Tax-Free-Holiday on long guns, ammunition, camping and fishing gear.

On Wednesday, Representative Lori Berman (D-Boynton Beach) attempted with a floor amendment to take the Gun Club tax exemption language out the bill but it was defeated by a vote of 31 YES and 75 NO.

Representative Jose Rodriguez (D-Miami) offered two amendments to gut the July 4th Sales Tax Free Holiday on firearms and ammunition. One was defeated on a voice vote and the other was withdrawn.

HB-493 Firearms/Emergency Evacuation by Representative Heather Fitzenhagen (R-Ft. Myers) and its companion bill, SB-290 by Senator Jeff Brandes were heard on the House Floor. Representative Fitzenhagen moved to take up the Senate bill, which had already passed the Senate so the House could pass it and send it to the Governor.

SB-290 Firearms/Emergency Evacuation by Representative Heather Fitzenhagen and Senator Jeff Brandes PASSED the House by a vote of 86-26 and now heads to Governor Rick Scott for his signature.

SB-290 Firearms/Evacuation allows citizens to carry their firearms with them during a mandatory evacuation ordered by the Governor or local government during a declared state of emergency.

The conduct of state University Police Chiefs and University lobbyists continues to be exposed in the media.

NRA-ILA | Veteran kills armed robber, KPRC, Houston, Texas, 05/29/14

A 28-year-old veteran was having lunch at a Quiznos in Houston, Texas when he spotted two men mask themselves and then enter a GameStop. The veteran retrieved a handgun from his vehicle and went to confront the criminals as they exited the store. One of the robbers aimed a firearm at the veteran, prompting the armed citizen to fire. During an exchange of gunfire, one of the robbers was struck and killed, while the other fled the scene.

The deceased robber’s accomplice was captured by police a short time later. (KPRC, Houston, Texas, 05/29/14)

Thursday, 5/1/14, the Florida Sheriffs Association killed SB-296/HB-209 -- the bill to allow citizens to carry their firearms with them (rather than leave firearms behind for looters) when they are under a mandatory evacuation during a declared state of emergency. Please read the clipping below:

Be perfectly clear, this was a straight up Second Amendment issue in its purest form. And the Florida Sheriffs Association opposed your fundamental individual right to keep and bear arms at a time when you most need to be able to protect yourself and your family.

And indeed, the US District Court in NC in Baseman vs. Perjure struck down emergency declaration laws like the Florida laws we were trying to fix.

The Court said:

"The problem here is that the emergency declaration statutes, are not narrowly tailored to serve the government's interest in public safety. They do not target dangerous individuals or dangerous conduct. Nor do they seek to impose reasonable time, place and manner restrictions by, for example, imposing a curfew to allow the exercise of Second Amendment rights during circumscribed times. Rather, the statutes here excessively intrude upon plaintiffs' Second Amendment rights by effectively banning them (and the public at large) from engaging in conduct that is at the very core of the Second Amendment at a time when the need for self-defense may be at its very greatest....Consequently, the emergency declaration laws are invalid…"

Nonetheless, the Florida Sheriffs Association and a handful of Senate Republicans who joined Sen. Jack Latvala in abandoning the Second Amendment for the convenience of law enforcement, blocked restoration of your constitutional right. Knowing that if the bill were amended it would have to go back to House where it would NOT come up again, they voted 23-15 for an amendment they knew would kill the bill.

We believe the intention, all along, of the Florida Sheriffs Association was to kill the bill. They tried to kill HB-89 the so-called "warning shot" bill but failed. They pulled out all the stops on the mandatory evacuation bill.

Make no mistake, the Florida Sheriffs Association has declared war on the Second Amendment. Their actions have made it clear their 2013 Proclamation Supporting the Second Amendment was nothing more than camouflage.

Sheriffs repeatedly made it clear that the only thing they cared about was their convenience. Rhetorical questions like,

"How are we supposed to know who has guns?"
"How are we supposed to know if people are legally in possession of guns?"
"How are we supposed to know they are actually evacuating?"
"How are we supposed to know when we shine flashlights in cars and see guns that they are legal?" -- made it clear it was all about what they wanted and not about the rights and needs of the people they were elected to serve. They also made it clear, they prefer to presume you are a criminal rather than an honest citizen trying to protect your family and your property.

Also, please remember that not all Sheriffs agreed with the position taken by the top brass and lobbyists of the Association. You might ask your sheriffs which side they chose -- yours or the Association's.

Below is the Roll Call vote on the amendment. Passage of that amendment killed the bill, as it was intended to do. Sometimes you need to lose in order to identify the real enemy. This was one of those times.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2014, SB-296 by Senator Jeff Brandes will be heard on the Senate Floor. The Senate needs to substitute the House bill, HB-209 and pass it without amendments.

SB-296 Mandatory Evacuation is the Senate version of HB-209 that has been under constant attack by the Florida Sheriffs Association and continues to be under attack in the Senate.

The bill was under attack in Senate Community Affairs Committee and Senator Darren Soto (D-Kissimmee) succeeded in passing an amendment for the Florida Sheriffs Association to strip out essential language.

SB-296 Firearms/Mandatory Evacuations is a bill to allow law-abiding citizens to take their firearms with them when they are in the act of evacuating while complying with a mandatory evacuation order under a declared state of emergency. This bill will keep law-abiding citizens from being arrested and having their firearms confiscated for taking their firearms with them when they evacuate.

The Florida Sheriffs Association, while proclaiming their support for the Second Amendment, continues to actively OPPOSE this legislation and your right to bear arms. They have continued to spread MISINFORMATION about SB-296 by Brandes and HB-209 by Fitzenhagen relating to Mandatory Evacuations under a declared State of Emergency.

The Sheriffs claim that, "The law already permits transporting securely encased firearms in motor vehicles, and it allows those with an appropriate permit to carry concealed firearms,"is not accurate.

Under current law, once a State of Emergency has been declared by a local official, it is a violation of law for any citizen to take a firearm out of his/her the home or off his/her property.

Under s. 870.044 Automatic emergency measures, once a State of Emergency has been declared by a local official the automatic restrictions apply. The existing law says...the following acts shall be prohibited: "(3) The intentional possession in a public place of a firearm by any person, except a duly authorized law enforcement official or person in military service acting in the official performance of her or his duty."

In other words, once the State of Emergency is declared, you can't take your guns anywhere because sidewalks, streets, roads and highways are public places. You must leave your guns behind in your home or dwelling, for looters to steal or hurricanes to destroy and evacuate your family with no means to protect yourself and your family.

The House bill, HB-209 Mandatory Evacuation is intact and contains the essential language, so the Senate needs to take up the House bill and pass it and send it to the Governor.

Matt Gaetz Discrimination by Insurance Companies is a bill to stop insurance companies from refusing to issue a policy, or refusing to renew a policy or canceling a policy, or charging unfair rates based on the lawful possession and ownership of a firearm or firearms or ammunition. Such actions constitute unfair discrimination and are actionable. Further, the bill protects privacy rights by prohibiting insurance companies and their agents from disclosing information on firearms and firearm ownership of its applicants and policyholders to others.

HB-525 by Rep. James Grant PASSED THE SENATE by a vote of 37-1. The bill now goes to the Governor for final action.

SB-1060 by Senator Greg Evers PASSED by a vote of 8-1 in the Senate Judiciary Committee, its last Committee. It has now been placed on the Special Order Calendar for the Senate Floor on 4/23/14.

SB-1060 Zero Tolerance/Pop Tart Bill by Senator Greg Evers (R-Baker) is a bill to stop some of the unbelievable actions by school administrators against children who behave like children and point fingers at each other pretending to shoot guns, etc.

SB-296 by Senator Jeff Brandes PASSED by a vote of 8-1 in the Senate Community Affairs Committee.

This is the Mandatory Evacuation bill that the Florida Sheriffs Association has been attacking and trying to gut or kill. The Amendment offered for the sheriffs to literally gut the bill was withdrawn. An amendment to remove the language regarding states of emergency by local officials was temporarily passed to move the bill on to the next stop.

SB-296 Firearms/Mandatory Evacuations is a bill to allow law-abiding citizens to take their firearms with them when they are complying with a mandatory evacuation order under a declared state of emergency. This bill will keep law-abiding citizens from being arrested and having their firearms confiscated for taking their firearms with them when they evacuate.

All three bills were then placed on the calendar for 4/11/14.

HB-209 Firearms/Mandatory Evacuations by Representative Heather Fitzenhagen is a bill to protect citizens from being charged with a crime, and having their guns confiscated, for carrying a firearm during a mandatory evacuation ordered by the Governor and local governments.

HB-523 by Representative James Grant PASSED by a vote of 94 - 22 by the Full House.

HB-523 CW Applications/Tax Collectors by Representative Jamie Grant is a bill to allow the Division of Licensing to designate qualified Tax Collectors to conduct the "Fast-Track" concealed weapons licensing application process in their respective counties.

HB-523 by Representative James Grant PASSED by a vote of 112 – 4 by the Full House.

HB-525 CW Public Records by Representative Jamie Grant Prohibits Tax Collectors & their employees from disclosing identifying information of applicants and license holders.

There will be no legislative meetings next week and the Legislature returns on Monday, April 21, 2014 for the eighth week of Session.

Sig Sauer sues ATF for calling its 'muzzle brake' a gun silencer | SeacoastOnline.com

NEWINGTON — Gun maker Sig Sauer has filed a civil suit against the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives claiming the federal agency wrongfully classified a “muzzle brake” Sig designed to reduce recoil, as an item “intended only for use” when making a silencer.

Sig claims that gun silencers are “subject to burdensome legal requirements” and by calling its muzzle brake a part for a silencer, the federal agency is subjecting it to “economic injury.”

Tomorrow, Thursday, March 27, 2014, HB-209 by Representative Heather Fitzenhagen (R-Ft. Myers) will be heard in the House Judiciary Committee at 8:30am.

HB-209 by Representative Heather Fitzenhagen is a bill to protect citizens from being charged with a crime, and having their guns confiscated, for carrying a firearm during a mandatory evacuation ordered by the Governor.

When you're ordered to take your family and leave your home and belongings behind, you should not be deprived of the right to take your firearms with you to protect yourself and your family.

This bill is especially important because our state is prone to mandatory evacuations due to hurricanes. Further, leaving your firearms behind for looters/criminals poses a great danger to emergency personnel and other law-abiding citizens.
Governor Rick Scott and the Florida National Guard have expressed SUPPORT for this bill.

However, some anti-gun segments of law enforcement are fighting against the bill. They don't support your Second Amendment rights and your right to protect yourself, your family and your property. They seem to be only concerned about what they want and what is convenient for the them.

When Zero Tolerance and Zero Common Sense Collide

A 7-year-old boy was suspended from school for pointing a pencil and going POW-POW;

A boy and two friends were suspended from school for 3 months for playing with a fake gun in his own yard, because a school bus stop was 70 yards away

A 14-year-old wore an NRA t-shirt with a hunting rifle on it to school. The shirt didn't violate the school's dress code, but a screaming teacher demanded that he turn the shirt inside out. The boy was then removed from class, suspended, arrested, and faced a year in jail for "obstructing an officer" because he wouldn't stop protesting his innocence while he was being hauled away.

An 11-year-old boy was discussing the Sandy Hook massacre with friends on the school bus when he said that he wished he had a gun to stop the bad guys. He was suspended from school for 10 days and his father received a visit from police who wanted to search their house without a warrant.

A high school freshman was suspended for having a picture of a gun as the background screen on his computer.

A 10-year-old was arrested by police for showing a toy gun with an orange tip to a friend on his school bus. Video footage from the school bus cameras revealed that he never pointed it at anybody, never made any threatening gestures, and no one looked frightened or concerned yet he was arrested, given his Miranda rights, charged with brandishing a weapon, fingerprinted and photographed. He was suspended for 10 days with a recommendation for expulsion and assigned a probation officer.

A group of students got permission from their teacher to bring NERF guns to school as part of a science experiment. Afterwards, the school suspended all of the children who brought toy guns to school and all the children who were present during the experiment, while the teacher was NOT punished.

An 8-year-old boy is suspended from school for using his finger as an imaginary gun.

A 16-year-old High School student, on a school bus, wrestled a loaded revolver away from a teen threatening to shoot another student. His heroism was rewarded with suspension from school for being part of an "incident" where a weapon was present.

A 7-year-old boy is suspended from school for chewing his strawberry filled pop tart into the shape of a gun.

A 7-year-old boy is suspended from school for drawing a stick figure holding a gun;

A 5-year-old little girl was talking to classmates about playing with her "Hello Kitty" bubble gun - which blows soapy bubbles. They were laughing and talking about taking turns shooting each other with bubbles. The school accused her of making a "terrorist threat," suspended her from school for 10 days, told her parents the police might need to be involved, and demanded that she get a psychological evaluation. Clearly, somebody needed a psychological evaluation but it wasn't the 5-year-old.

Two 7-year-old classmates who were playing soldiers, pointed pencils at each other and made shooting noises. Both were suspended. A school spokeswoman said, "We consider it intimidating and threatening." "Pointing a finger in a threatening manner and drawing a picture of a gun also are forbidden," she said.

A 6-year-old was suspended for taking a camping utensil that can serve as a knife, fork and spoon to school. He was so excited about joining the Cub Scouts that he wanted to use it to eat lunch.

A third-grade girl was expelled for a year because her grandmother had sent a birthday cake to school, along with a knife to cut it. The teacher called the principal — but not until AFTER she used the knife to cut and serve the cake.

A 3-year-old DEAF child's sign language for his name is a sign shaped like a gun. His name is Hunter and he has been using the sign for his name since he was 6 months old. His pre-school administrator asked his parents to change the sign for the child's name because it violates their weapons policy.

Nothing in SB-448 and HB-89, the House Companion, allows warning shots nor do they promote or encourage warning shots.

Warning shots are not safe. Nonetheless, when people are in fear for their lives or the lives of loved ones, they might fire a warning shot rather than shoot someone. People make mistakes and do irrational things when in fear of death or injury. That doesn't mean they should go to prison for 20 years when there was no injury or harm done.

Warning shots are an unsafe result of the glorification of such conduct in movies and on TV. No one is recommending warning shots.

Nonetheless, a father should not be prosecuted under 10-20-Life for firing a warning shot. No harm was done yet a father was sent to prison for 20 years for firing a warning shot to stop an attacker from harming his daughter.

A mother should not be charged under 10-20-Life for firing a warning shot to stop an attack by an abusive ex-husband. It caused no injury and no harm yet she was prosecuted and sent to prison for 20 years. These are not isolated cases.

The simple truth is the intent of the 10-20-Life law is being violated. The law was intended to be used to lock up criminals who use guns during the commission or attempted commission of crimes.

It was intended to stop prosecutors and judges from slapping gun-toting criminals on the wrist so they could quickly clear cases.

The 10-20-Life law was never intended to be used against citizens who, in an act of self-defense, threatened the use of force to stop an attacker, including the unwise use of a warning shot. Yet, that's what some prosecutors are doing. They are willfully and knowingly violating the intent of the law.

The cold hard reality is that some prosecutors are treating law-abiding people like criminals. People who never would have been in the system had they not been attacked and in fear for their own safety are being prosecuted. Self-defense is not a crime, it is a right and prosecutors are trampling those rights.

The threat of force in self-defense should have the same protection as actually shooting someone in self-defense. You should not be required to shoot an attacker to have the protection of the law.

The issue is not warning shots, it's about protecting people from the abuse of prosecutorial discretion.

The 10-20-LIFE Law is a Minimum Mandatory law that mandates specific penalties for criminals who use guns to commit crimes:

10 years in prison for pulling a gunduring the commission of a crime.

20 years in prison for shooting a gun during the commission of a crime.
25 years to Life in prison if you shoot someone during the commission of a crime.
