I don’t know if you read these Brandon, but if you do, I just wanted to send some love and respect your way. No reason to feel bad about the fight or hang your head. Shogun overcommits when he’s boxing he almost looks sloppy, that’s why he gets caught, even by Hendo. And you are way faster than Hendo, Bro. Just be cautious and quick when you retreat for defense. Keep it solid so you won’t get tagged. I think you’re both deadly toe-to-toe, he’s just faster because he’s smaller. Capitalize on his leg lock attempts, he’s always very predictable at that, surprise him with a knee or a submission. Overpower him with your wrestling and look out for his knees on your legs during clinch. Griffin only won their first fight because he matched Shogun’s ferocity, he lost their second fight because he didn’t have that ferocity in him anymore. You are full of potential, man, that’s why the UFC still gives you big fights like these. Unleash it with the old beast in you. We felt that old beast in you at the start of RD 2 in your fight with Silva. Ang haba na nito, but what the heck. Good Luck Brandon! Filipinos are always behind you in your every fight.
