Ben Stephenson was Guisborough's star with two tries; the second a gem from inside his own half combining football and rugby skills. It all started at Guisborough's Laurence Jackson School in the early 1980s when Rob was a head of year. Jessica Pollard claims she was left in agony after a huge blister appeared on her back as she was giving birth by caesarean section to her second child, Riley, last February. Overall Guisborough won by 24 points and many swimmers swam new personal best times. Chief coach Andrew Young is now hopeful that the squad can continue with it's great performance in the next gala at Bedale. Where we will come up against Northallerton and Saltburn & Marske. The swimming club is entering its 40th year, and has not won the league since the late 1980's.
