Douglas Kitching, 58, of Yarm Road, Stockton, was pronounced dead at his flat on August 15 last year. Mr Kitching had problems with alcohol and depression, an inquest heard. A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Kitching had consumed a minimum of the equivalent of seven pints of beer.
