On line marketing business, Gold Star Search, and facilities management firm Anabas, have been based at the Springboard Business Centre - the district council's incubator units. Now their growth means a move into the authority's newest office development - Momentum. This has been built primarily to provide expansion space for businesses nurtured by Springboard. It continues the sustainable theme and has three storeys and a subterranean car park built to a high environmental standard. There is a rooftop wind turbine, underfloor heating, internal solar shading blinds and a system to re-use rainwater. It's also the first of the council's buildings to have a sedum roof. Momentum has seven self contained office suites and a shared meeting room - and tenants can continue to benefit from support from the Springboard team.
