La compilation a marchio Flynn è composta da 6 bootleg audio con tutte le rarità suonate da Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street Band dal 1999 al 2009.

La raccolta include quindi i seguenti quattro tour:

Magic
Working On A Dream

Sono stati esclusi i tour di Devils & Dust (2005) e quello con la Seeger Sessions Band (2006).

Qualche nota dai realizzatori di questa raccolta bootleg:

There are many things to love about the ten years of touring Bruce and the band did since reuniting on stage in 1999, but high on the list is the staggering amount of material assailed. By the end of the WOAD tour, Springsteen had tackled some 280 songs, a number boosted considerably by the sign requests of the last two tours, especially given how many of those yielded one-off covers.

But even more compelling than live versions of other peoples songs are airings of little-performed material from Bruce ís own canon. It ís easy to forget that the 1999 tour was mounted in support of Tracks and rarities from the box did work their way into setlists to varying degrees, especially early on when such uber obscurities as Car Wash î and ìBrothers Under the Bridgesî received their first and, to date, last airings.

Fast-forward to the end of the 2009 WOAD tour in Buffalo, and again Bruce pulls out first/only readings of several songs including the stunning River outtake (included on Tracks) ìRestless Nights.î Steve might have been right all these years year, indeed.

For the hardcores, folks who saw dozens of shows over the last 12 years, these uncommon performances provided some of the greatest moments we experienced in those arenas. The genuine surprise delivered by a song you never thought you'd ever hear or hear again is one of the sublime pleasures of being a fan of an artist who has both an enormous back catalog and who isn't afraid to mix up his set lists to revisit it. For us, there's nothing more exciting than when Bruce steps to the microphone and says something to the effect of, ìWe don't play this one much...

Those words provide the title to our comprehensive 6-CD anthology. "We Don't Play This One Much" gathers ten years of rarities from the once-played to the infrequently-played, all in one place. This set is all about the songs you haven't heard that often and haven't grown tired of, culled to create a listening experience that should be quite refreshing to anyone who has listened primarily to complete shows from any of the four tours.

You may wonder where we drew the line. The answer is somewhere around a dozen performances, any more than that and the song didn't feel so rare any more, with just a couple of exceptions that felt like they would have been conspicuous by their absence given the other material included (like ìCode of Silence.î) We've also included songs performed slightly more but new to the Springsteen live canon over the course of the decade.

Bootleg vecchissimo quello che ho recuperato oggi, il tour è infatti quello di Born to Run (secondo leg) e il concerto è quello del 22 agosto 1976 a Springfield.

Non riesco a trovare la copertina giusta per questo bootleg, la suddivisione delle tracce è infatti leggermente diversa.

Del concerto di Bruce Springsteen a Trieste dello scorso 11 giugno 2012 esiste solo un bootleg audio estratto da un DVD che ancora non ho.

Come testimonianza video di quel concerto di ormai sei mesi fa, oltre che a spezzoni su youtube, ho trovato solo la copertina di questo bootleg DVD marchiato FedeUD.

Esiste? Qualcuno lo ha? Facciamo uno scambio?

Se va avanti così il bootleg del concerto di Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street Band in corso di svolgimento a Anaheim rientra fra quelli che è obbligatorio avere.

La scaletta (da Greasy Lake), causa differenza di fuso orario, è parziale.

Tom Morello è salito sul palco per diverse canzoni fra cui Land Of Hope And Dreams, Death To My Home Town e This Depression.

Da segnalare la presenza in scaletta di Long Time Coming acustica e Reason to Believe stile Magic Tour.

Come al solito le date del nuovo leg europeo del Wrecking Ball Tour stanno uscendo un po' alla volta.

Per ora sono ufficiali 17 date fra cui quattro in Germania e quattro in Italia. Appena la situazione sarà più chiara farò un post riassuntivo.
Tanto si parla di un tour negli stadi non credo quindi ci saranno problemi di biglietti per nessuno.

Tornando al leg in corso Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street Band stanno suonando a Portland dove, causa fusi orari, il concerto è ancora in corso.

Sistemando un po' di bootleg mi è capitato fra le mani questo triplo CD che mi ero dimenticato di avere.

La registrazione testimonia il sesto ed ultimo concerto di Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street a Philadelphia durante il Reunion Tour (25 settembre 1999).

La qualità audio del bootleg non è niente di eccezionale però l'apertura con Incident On The 57th Street non è una cosa da tutti i giorni.

In scaletta troviamo anche Streets Of Philadelphia e soprattutto New York City Serenade.
