He reunited with the 39-year-old reality star and their four kids: North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 14 months.

Angelina Jolie cannot let go of Brad Pitt as she has love-hate feelings for him

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been at each other's throats ever since their child custody case started.

Owing to this, the Salt actress has been harbouring love-hate relationship towards her ex-husband and simply cannot seem to let go of him.

“The longer she does this, the more damage she does to the kids,” a source toldThe Post.

“This is a game she’s playing. She still has the kids for more of the time than he does and she’s trying to maintain that as long as possible.”

“On some level she doesn’t want this [the divorce] to end,” said one source. “She’s trying to hold on.”

However, sources close to the actress said that, despite the way things may look to the public, “She’s the one who filed for divorce,” said one person close to Jolie. “There is no one more than her that wants it to be done.”

Earlier, Jolie demanded Judge John W. Ouderkirk in the divorce case to be changed as Pitt was too close with him.

Ouderkirk responded by saying that he had no bias in the case and refused to step down. Now a court will decide whether to remove him.

“The judge excoriated her legal team’s hail-Mary attempt to delay the process again,” said an attorney close to the matter.

Meanwhile, the Ad Astra star's lawyers said in court papers that Jolie’s move “reeks of bad faith and desperation.”

They added that the couple’s six kids are “the individuals hurt most by Jolie’s transparently tactical gambit,” as “they continue to be deprived over a resolution to these custody issues.

Meghan Markle's son Archie to seek permission about major life decision from ruler of England

Meghan Markle's son Archie to seek permission about major life decision from ruler of England

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's one-year-old son Archie does not have a royal title yet.

However, this will change when his grandfather, Prince Charles, begins his reign as the king of England after Queen Elizabeth II.

The royal heir, who is originally named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor — is seventh in line to the British throne and will move up the line of succession when the Prince of Wales takes the throne.

According to the Express, after he becomes the prince, Archie will be free to decide whether he wants to keep his royal title or not.

He will also have the option of being called His Royal Highness when he reaches the age of 18.

This will somewhat become a weird situation in the family, as Meghan and Harry stopped using the His and Her Royal Highness part of their titles after exiting the royal family.

When Charles becomes king, either after his mother, the queen, steps down or dies, the line of succession will be Prince William and his children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis — followed by Harry and then Archie.

Archie will be bound by the 2013 Succession of the Crown Act and will have to ask the ruling monarch of that time before getting married.

That regulation also applies to George, Charlotte and Louis. “Should the children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wish to marry, they will be required to seek the sovereign’s permission,” royal expert Iain MacMarthanne told the Express.

Meanwhile, a source revealed to Us Weekly that Harry “wants to shield his son from the negativity and tension he would’ve been exposed to back in England. Harry knows what it’s like to grow up in the spotlight, and he wants to give Archie the most normal upbringing possible.”

Indonesia to take on Captain America, Iron Man with its own superheros

Indonesia to take on Captain America, Iron Man with its own superheros

Indonesia is taking on the likes of Marvel's Captain America and Iron Man with its own superheroes.

The first movie of the series, "Gundala", which was directed by one of Indonesia's most prolific filmmakers Joko Anwar and released locally to critical and popular acclaim, is now set to play in cinemas across North America.

With a back catalogue of more than 500 Indonesian comics, the studio Screenplay Bumilangit is hoping to create its own Marvel-style "Cinematic Universe" with films featuring interconnected characters and settings.

"Gundala", based on a 1969 comic, tells the story of an impoverished factory worker's son who fights corruption and injustice after a lightning strike gives him superhuman powers.

"The story that people are going to see in our films is not about aliens attacking the earth because that's not our problem. Hollywood is going to deal with that," Anwar tells AFP.

"We're dealing with our country's oppressors and their superpowers will come from our mythology," adds the 44-year-old, explaining his twin passions growing up were films and Indonesian comic heroes.

The success of "Black Panther" and "Captain Marvel", which both grossed more than $1 billion worldwide as well as "Wonder Woman", which made more than $800 million, has pushed US studios to search for more diverse stories and characters to reflect audience demand.

The former featured a predominantly black cast, was directed by African-American Ryan Coogler and tackled the battle for a fictional African kingdom, while the latter two star female superheroes leads, which is rare.

Marvel is now making their first Chinese superhero movie, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" based on a character that first appeared in 1973.

Prince Harry 'never wanted son Archie to grow like a royal

Prince Harry 'never wanted son Archie to grow like a royal

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had reportedly decided son Archie's future even before quitting royal duties. They did not want him to grow up like royal.

Dr Jane Goodall, an English primatologist, said the Duke of Sussex dropped the hint during a conversation last summer.

According to the 86-year-old anthropologist, Harry told her during the summer of 2019 that he didn’t want his then 2-month-old son Archie growing up under royal standards and protocols, suggesting that he and Markle were already mulling over the idea of distancing themselves from the monarchy

Speaking to a magazine, Dr Goodall said: "At the end [of the conversation] Meghan came in to listen with Archie.

"He was very tiny and very sleepy – not too pleased to be passed from his mummy. I think I was one of the first to cuddle him outside the family.

“I made Archie do the Queen’s wave, saying, ‘I suppose he’ll have to learn this’. Harry said: ‘No, he’s not growing up like that'."

The conversation took place while Harry interviewed Goodall at her Roots & Shoots fundraiser in July 2019. The interview was included in Markle’s September cover issue of British Vogue.

Six months after the Q&A with Goodall, the couple shocked the nation in January when they revealed they wanted to become independent and step back from royal life.

Robert Downey Jr flares up as interviewer pokes at his dark past

Robert Downey Jr.'s interview turned ugly after the interviewer started digging into his controversies

Hollywood A-lister Robert Downey Jr. is undeniably one of the most sought-after stars in Tinseltown owing to his iconic Iron Man portrayal.

And while the actor seems to be filled to the core with wit and positivity, there is one thing that manages to push even his buttons: his dark past.

An interview of the Dolittle actor turned ugly after the interviewer started digging into his controversies from his dark past including drug abuse, jail time and shaky ties with father Robert Downey Sr.

The actor has kept his past strictly concealed but British journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy for Channel News 4, brought out the beast again.

While it was reiterated that the interview, held in 2015, would strictly encircle Avengers: Age of Ultron, things started heating up when the interviewer asked about his comment given to New York Times following his custody.

"You can't go from a USD 2000 a night hotel suite to a penitentiary, understand it and come out a liberal. I couldn't even tell you what a liberal so therein lies the answer to your question,” Robert retorted.

He was further asked if he is still a liberal after he was released from prison, to which he replied: "Are we promoting a movie?”

"I'm certainly not going to back-pedal on anything that I have said but I wouldn't say I'm a Republican, a Liberal or a Democrat... that's the nice thing, you can have opinions and they kind of change and flow,” he added.

When Krishnan further stressed on pushing the interview around Robert, he replied: “You have as much time as anyone else will,” before signaling his team to conclude.

Krishnan soon shot back saying they still have a few minutes before the interview can wrap up. Robert responded saying: “Your foot is starting to jump a little bit. You better get to your next question."

The last straw for the actor was the question revolving his drug abuse problem that had been a thing of the past, as immediately after hearing, he retorted: “What are we doing?” and walked out.

After the interviewer apologized, Robert gave him a pat on the back and said: “You seem okay. It's getting a bit Diane Sawyer and you're kind of a schmuck.

You either love Meghan Markle or you don't, says close friend

She is like liquorice. You either love her or you don’t,' Meghan Markle's close friend said about her

Meghan Markle, ever since she tied the knot to Prince Harry has been getting praised over her conduct and for standing up for herself. However, she has also managed to make a place for herself in a lot of people's bad books.

Author Shinan Govani who had been closely moving into the same social circles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex back when they were residing in Vancouver Island, Canada, made some startling revelations about Meghan.

Writing for Tatler, Govani revealed that when it comes to Meghan, there is no in-between, as people’s fondness for her only touches the very extremes.

“She is like liquorice. You either love her or you don’t,” he said.

“Something that has stayed with me, especially post-Megxit, is that Meghan is no stranger to picking up and reinventing herself, be it in Argentina, Canada, the UK, or now, LA,” he said looking back at a chat he had with her in her Toronto home while she was shooting for Suits.

“Both a go-getter as well as a shape-shifter, she returns now with more social mojo than she could have ever imagined then,” he continues.

Unbroken': Prince Harry, Bon Jovi and military choir launch charity single

U.S. rocker Jon Bon Jovi teamed up with Britain’s Prince Harry and a military choir to release the single “Unbroken” on Friday to raise awareness of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
The prince turned up to watch the singer and the Invictus Games Choir record the track at London’s Abbey Road Studios last month in one of his last engagements as a senior member of the royal family.
“He was wonderful when he came to see us. He gave us all a big hug,” said Caroline Beazley, a member of the choir who was shot while serving with Britain’s armed forces in Belfast in 1994.
“I was injured a number of years ago and I hid away for a long number of years for various reasons,” she told Reuters.
“Being part of the choir for me ... It’s about just being part of a group of people that kind of get you and understand you.”
Proceeds from the sale of the song, which was written by Bon Jovi, will go to the foundation that supports the Invictus Games, a sporting event for sick and injured veterans that is one of Harry’s favorite causes.

South Korea boy band BTS postpones US Canada tour over coronavirus

South Korea’s boy band BTS will postpone a North America tour that had been scheduled to kick off in April, due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, its management said on Friday.
The seven-member K-pop hit group was due to begin its United States and Canada tour on April 25 in Santa Clara, with stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, New Jersey, Washington and Toronto, before wrapping up in Chicago in June.
Big Hit Entertainment said new dates had not been set but all reserved tickets remained valid.
“We are closely monitoring and following the guidance of all local governments regarding public events to ensure we are providing a safe environment for everyone involved as we continue to update our tour plans,” Big Hit said in a statement on the fan community app, Weverse.
The delay came as the United States overtook China and Italy as the country with the most infections, with thousands of new cases each day.
Last week, BTS indefinitely delayed sales of tickets for its Europe tour, set to start in July, and take in the cities of Barcelona, Berlin, London and Rotterdam.
Last month, it also cancelled a concert in Seoul set for April as South Korea grapples with the pandemic.

Mariah Carey, Billie Eilish to headline coronavirus benefit TV special

Mariah Carey, Billie Eilish and Tim McGraw will headline a benefit concert on Sunday, playing from their homes, to raise money to help fight the spread of the coronavirus, Fox television said on Wednesday.

The one-hour special, to be hosted by Elton John and broadcast on Fox and iHeart radio stations, is the first major nationwide event in the United States to harness celebrity power to help those affected by the disease.

The “IHeart Living Room Concert for America” will also feature performances from Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. All of the musicians will film themselves from homes with their cellphones or other equipment.

The special is aimed at paying tribute to health workers and those on the front lines of efforts to cope with the pandemic, which has overwhelmed hospitals. It will also encourage viewers to donate to two charities: Feeding America and the First Responders Children’s Foundation.

Musicians have been quick to move online as U.S. states have issued shutdown and stay-at-home orders, with free performances filmed at home and streamed on social media from the likes of John Legend and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

Others have made individual contributions to hospitals and nonprofits as the coronavirus has spread across the United States.

They include folk singer James Taylor, who this week made a $1 million donation to Massachusetts General Hospital, and Rihanna, whose foundation gave $5 million to charities to supply food and protective equipment to healthcare workers.

Fox said the “IHeart Living Room Concert for America” will be broadcast on Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT/6 pm PDT (0100 GMT on Monday).

Selena Gomez recalls getting 'manipulated' by former lovers

Selena Gomez spoke about her former manipulative partners that made relationships toxic for her

Pop icon Selena Gomez’s love life has been in the limelight for fans and the world.

From The Weeknd to Justin Bieber, her past paramours have always taken the spotlight as she recurrently sheds light on how she suffered during some of her relationships.

Speaking about her former manipulative partners that made relationships toxic for her, the 27-year-old Lose You to Love Me songstress in an interview with Genius said that her song Rare is about appreciating how valuable her partner is.

“I think men and women do it, especially teenagers and young people in love; there’s this satisfaction out of hurting someone because you know that they care,” she said.

“Purposefully putting someone down because you want to keep them at a level. It’s like to keep that person down so they never realize, ‘Oh, I’m strong enough to actually get out of this situation,” she added.

Talking further about the track, she said that she had been a “victim to certain abuse,” that she later confirmed as emotional.

“It was very difficult and I’m happy it’s over,” she added.

That being said, the singer for now is keeping herself off the dating scene, as a source earlier told Us Weekly: “Right now, she is focusing on [her mental health] as well as her music and isn’t actively looking or going out of her way to be in a relationship.”

“She is still healing, but now knows what kind of guy she would want to date and what qualities he would need to have in order for her and her future boyfriend to be in a healthy, thriving, loving and supportive relationship,” the grapevine added.

Kim Kardashian gets an earful from Taylor Swift's friend Todrick Hall

Todrick Hall who has stood by Taylor Swift through thick and thin over the course of her career

Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have sparked frenzy all over the internet after an unearthed footage came afloat, escalating their feud.

While many fans came to the 30-year-old singer’s defense, joining the list was her best friend, Todrick Hall who has stood by Taylor's through thick and thin.

"After your Ray J video and publicly documenting every [expletive] ... I HIGHLY doubt that you're embarrassed NOW to respond to this,” he said.

"She was CLEARLY uncomfortable with the situation & after you publicly embarrass someone TWICE on national television, I think these calls should be going through management or some legit form of professional contact,” he said addressing the call.

"1. No one would ever give permission without hearing the song. If they had time to shadily record all of this footage, they had time to shoot over an email with the finished product for approval once the song was done,” he went on to say.

He continued that while Kanye’s reputation remained unscathed, it was Taylor who had to bear the brunt of their false accusations.

The post by Todrick was later deleted from his Instagram profile.

For those living under a rock and still unaware of the feud, here's a recap: the freshly-leaked video shows an unedited phone call between the two nemeses as it shows Swift expressing her uneasiness about the lyric that was previously featured in a Kanye West song Famous.

The lyric was as follows: “For all my Southside [expletive] as that know me best. I feel like me and Taylor might still have [expletive] Why? I made that [expletive] famous ([expletive]) I made that [expletive] famous.”

After Swift expressed her hurt over the sly dig publicly during her Grammy’s speech, West later claimed that he had gotten the singer’s permission before throwing in the negative reference.

In the leaked video Taylor can be heard asking: “Is it going to be mean?” while Kanye assures her that it won’t be.

She then proceeds to ask him to let her hear the song if he seeks her blessing. However, the lyrics he shared with the Lover crooner were not the same ones that ended up in the song.

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi and Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola have each donated one million euros ($1.08 million) towards the fight against coronavirus.

Argentina international Messi’s donation will be split between Hospital Clinic in Barcelona and another medical centre in his home country, according to a report in Marca.

“Leo Messi made a donation to the clinic to fight the coronavirus,” Hospital Clinic wrote on Twitter. “Thank you very much, Leo, for your commitment and your support.”

Former Barcelona player and manager Guardiola made his contribution to a campaign launched by the Angel Soler Daniel Foundation and Medical College of Barcelona.

“Pep Guardiola has made a donation of one million euros to the Angel Soler Daniel Foundation for the acquisition and supply of health equipment to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic,” said a statement from the College.

“The donation campaign promoted by the Medical College of Barcelona and managed through the Angel Soler Daniel Foundation aims to collect medical materials and financial contributions from collegiate doctors and the general population, for the purchase of medical equipment and equipment that is currently lacking in health centres in Catalonia.

“It will also help finance the alternative production, through 3D printing and other methods, of respirators and personal protection equipment for healthcare staff.”

Before Guardiola made his donation, the campaign had raised 33,000 euros in three days.

Spain is the country worst affected by the disease in Europe outside of Italy, with 2,696 deaths and almost 40,000 positive cases.

The region of Catalonia, where Guardiola is from and where Messi has lived since joining Barca aged 13, is one of the worst-affected parts of the country.

our months after the deadly coronavirus first surfaced, there is still very little clarity on how it affects people and who are most vulnerable.

Initial studies suggested that the virus was most fatal for the elderly. However, new reports, emerging from around the world, indicate that the young are just as vulnerable.

In Pakistan, a large part of the debate, about the coronavirus, has been centered around the shortage of ventilators, a machine that helps patient’s breathe. But do all the infected need to be put on a ventilator?

Geo.tv talks to Dr Sultan Rasool, who is treating coronavirus patients in Dera Ghazi Khan, where the most number of confirmed cases have been reported in the Punjab province, to explain how the virus affects an individual. Excerpts:

What are the symptoms?

It really varies from person to person. Some experience flu and high-grade fever. I am talking 104 F to even 105 F. That is followed by a severe dry cough and shortness of breath. The most problematic thing about this virus is that it can mutate within a person’s body and quickly become lethal.

But then there are people who only experience symptoms of a common cold.

Once infected, what do the next two weeks look like?

Again that depends on how long the virus stays in your body. If matters get complicated than a few things can happen. One, you could suffer a respiratory arrest, this is when a person has difficulty breathing on their own and are in need of a ventilator to assist.

What we have also seen recently, especially in the case of Dr Osama Riaz, the doctor who died in Gilgit-Baltistan, was that he had a renal failure first and then brain damage.

But once more, there are people who do not show any severe symptoms and can simply stay at home to get better.

What factors determine if a patient will require a ventilator?

There is a lot of misinformation about that. Not everyone needs it. What I have seen is that if a person is over 50 years of age, or even if they are younger and their immunity and health is generally weak, they will, at some point, need to be put on a ventilator within 10 days of being infected.

How many days would a person need to spend in the hospital?

Hospital or home, you will need to be isolated for a minimum of 14 days.

What does the hospital treatment consist of?

Since, at the moment, there is no vaccine, our treatment is symptomatic. Which means that if you have fever, we will give you Panadol. If you are feeling dehydrated or have lost your appetite, you will be treated for that.

Recently, we tried using the anti-malaria drug Chloroquine on our patients. That helps because it can turn a virus into a bacteria, making it easier to fight. Also, the drug is known to increase immunity. But we are still monitoring its affects.

Cleaner hands, bluer skies: what has coronavirus done for us?

Deaths, economic meltdown and a planet on lockdown: the coronavirus pandemic has brought us waves of bad news, but squint and you might just see a few bright spots.

From better hygiene that has reduced other infectious diseases to people reaching out as they self-isolate, here are some slivers of silver linings during a bleak moment.

Wash your hands!

The message from health professionals has been clear from the start of the outbreak: wash your hands.

Everyone from celebrities to politicians has had a go at demonstrating correct technique — including singing "Happy Birthday" twice through to make sure you scrub long enough, and hand sanitiser has flown off the shelves.

All that extra hygiene appears to be paying off, at least in some countries, including Japan, where the number of flu cases appears to be sharply down.

Japan recorded 7.21 million cases by early March — usually around the peak of the flu season that runs until May.

That was far below figures for previous years, including the 21.04 million infections seen during the 2017/18 season.

"We estimate that one of the reasons behind it is that people are now much more aware about the need to wash hands... given the spread of the new coronavirus," Japanese health ministry official Daisha Inoue told AFP.

Carbon curbs

Factory shutdowns, travel bans and a squeeze on demand spell economic disaster, but it isn't all bad news for the environment.

In the four weeks to March 1, China's CO2 emissions fell 200 million tonnes, or 25 per cent, compared to the same period last year, according to the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air.

That's a decline equivalent to annual CO2 emissions from Argentina, Egypt or Vietnam.

The slowdown in China also saw coal consumption at power plants there down 36 per cent, and the use of oil at refineries drop by nearly as much.

Air travel is also grinding to a virtual halt, achieving at least a short-term drop-off in emissions from a highly polluting industry.

And there have been other environmental benefits, including crystal-clear waters in Venice canals usually choked with tourist-laden boats.

Unfortunately, experts say the cleaner air may be short-lived.

Once the health crisis is over, experts expect countries will double down to try to make up for lost time, with climate change concerns likely to be sidelined in a race to recover economic growth.

Save the pangolins

The source of the coronavirus remains in question, but early tracking focused on a market in China's Wuhan where a variety of live wildlife was on sale for consumption.

A number of animals, including bats and the highly endangered pangolin, have been identified as possible culprits for the virus.

As a result, China in February declared an immediate and "comprehensive" ban on the trade and consumption of wild animals that was welcomed by environmentalists.

Beijing implemented similar measures following the SARS outbreak in the early 2000s, but the trade and consumption of wild animals, including bats and snakes, made a comeback.

This time the ban is permanent, raising hopes that it could end the local trade in wildlife.

"I do think the government has seen the toll it takes on national economy and society is much bigger than the benefit that wild-eating business brings," said Jeff He, China director at the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

Reports linking the virus to the pangolin have also scared off would-be consumers of the scaly mammals elsewhere, with bushmeat vendors in Gabon reporting a plunge in sales.

Apart, together

One of the most difficult aspects of the stringent lockdowns imposed to slow the spread of the virus has been loneliness, with families and friends forced to endure weeks or even months apart.

But some people have found the measures are creating a sense of community spirit, and prompting them to make more of an effort to check in with family and reconnect with friends.

In Colombia, where a nearly three-week period of self-isolation is now in place, 43-year-old Andrea Uribe has organised everything from group exercise classes to family talent shows using video messaging programmes including Zoom.

"I have called my parents more often, I have talked to friends that I usually don't talk to... I have organised Zoom meetings with friends in multiple countries," Uribe, who works in development, told AFP.

"It is wonderful to be forced to be there for one another. It has made me more creative. It just shows that we need to be present in people's lives.
