Probabilitatea transmiterii infecţiei depinde in mare măsură de imunitatea persoanei respective, nivelul de expunere precum şi de virulenţa tulpinii bacteriene.</div><div style="line-height: 1.5em; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0.4em;">Dacă este tratată adecvat, tuberculoza cauzată de tulpini chimiosensibile este curabilă în toate cazurile.
