SWEP, a leading manufacturer of brazed plate heat exchangers, celebrated the grand opening of its North American headquarters in Tulsa May 16. The company began operations in Tulsa this year to support its growing customer demand. Company officials, clients, Tulsa Regional Chamber representatives, the Oklahoma Dept. of Commerce and others joined SWEP for its grand opening and open house at 12122 E. 55th Street.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Headquartered in Landskrona, Sweden, SWEP operates 35 facilities around the world and employs over 850 people worldwide. SWEP is part of Dover Corporation. The company&amp;rsquo;s Tulsa operations will be based at 12122 E. 55th Street, Suite A &amp;amp; B.&lt;br /&gt;

Verizon has announced plans to establish a financial services hub at its facility at Cherokee Industrial Park in Tulsa, bringing 500 high-paying jobs to the region. Energy sector manufacturing firm Borets-Weatherford broke ground today on a new research and development center and announced plans to expand its Tulsa-region workforce. The Tulsa Regional Chamber assisted in the announcement. &lt;br /&gt;

Borets-Weatherford is constructing a 15,000-square-foot research and development lab, and plans to add at least 30 employees in northeast Oklahoma.
