Taylor Hartman has joined TYPros as an intern this summer. Help us welcome him! Taylor is originally from San Diego California but I has lived in Tulsa for the past 18 years. Get to know him in his own words:

What are some of your interests?

Flying, working out, personal training, and brewing beer occasionally.

Tell us about your family:

I have a great family! I have a Mother named Michelle and a Father named Jeff and an older Brother named Ryan. I have extended family in Kansas, California, and Missouri. My family is pretty large and I am proud to come from such a caring and loving one.

Claim to fame:

I would have to say getting my Pilots license and Personal Training Certification.

Favorite thing about Tulsa:

All of the up and coming things that are coming into the downtown area. My family is involved in downtown growth; I love going to all of the new places and experiencing new things that this city has to offer.

What is a skill or talent you don’t possess but wish you did?

The ability to speak another language. I feel being bilingual would be really essential in work and in everyday life.

Song you can always rock out to:

Anything new on the radio! I love all types of music from the new stuff to the oldies. Me and my brother use to be in a band together, so ever since I was young playing the drums I have always loved music.

Five words that describe you best:

Let’s see.. Caring, Loving, determined, honest, and loyal.

What makes you most excited about joining the TYPros team?

The experience and knowledge I will gain from working with exciting and motivating individuals who share the same goals as me. I am really looking forward to learning more about this branch of the chamber and to obtain as much experience as possible. I love the professional work setting and getting to meet such friendly people.

TYPros to give 61st & Peoria area a makeover

Tulsa’s Young Professionals’ fifth-annual Street CReD community redevelopment event on May 30 will center on 61st Street and Peoria Drive, bringing an army of volunteers from TYPros and across the city for a day of fun activities and hard work to further the neighborhood’s ongoing transformation.

TYPros raises nearly $12,000 for Tulsa Zoo in 2014

Tulsa’s Young Professionals raised $11,634 for the Tulsa Zoo in 2014 as its volunteers dedicated dozens of events and fundraising efforts to helping the Zoo implement an innovative master plan to transform its offerings.

A letter from the 2015 chair

Ten years ago, a group of optimistic and energetic leaders set out to change how young talent engaged with the Tulsa region.

A farewell from our 2014 chair

As this year comes to an end, I am very thankful for the successes we have had with Tulsa's Young Professionals.
