Finally -- Stepping into a New Year and most of you are possibly touting the past year as one to forget.

I feel you in many ways and want to send positive vibes and everloving frequency in your direction for postitive, fruitful, peaceful turnaround in this new year.

I, myself, experienced some earth-shaking life changes/challenges over the past year and I've reconciled that it is what it is and moving on can be the most exhilarating and fruitful response to anything that rocked your world.

Life can throw some unexpected hurdles our way, but we must choose the kind-loving response and express/display the resilience that we wish to be manifested for the road ahead.

Let's be optimistic that ALL things are consistently working for our good if we're vibrating in the frequency of "things always working out" for us.

Put the past behind and step into a new day, a new year, a new attitude.....new beginnings, with miraculous blessings.

I trust and believe that It's all gonna work out for our good!

Wandering to Closer

She wandered and planned and planned as she daydreamed.

She silenced the violence of the destructive voices of self-doubt and imposter syndrome

She recalled and embraced the memories of the momentum that was in full swing....

The youth of all the energetic frequency and curiosity and courage....

She never forgot....the universe would never allow the tug of giftedness and overflow of the offering to fade.

She's ready now.....coming closer to her landing place, or just embracing the journeying of a perceived landing/destination, but....Closer still

..........almost there!

An Upcoming Year of Powerful Expectations - Believe it!

As we bring to a close another year, prepare and believe that you are in for a powerful year of Positive Expecations! What has been, is over and done, and you must believe for yourself, with everything within you, that your desires and hard work put in over the past year will manifest in the coming days....weeks and months. This is your year!

If you maintain a consistent and faithful momentum of positivity and energetic expectation......you can't lose.

I often ask people: What would you be doing if you weren't afraid? What if you boldly set aside the resistance of all the distractions of....the buts and what ifs......and simply moved forward in the calling on your life. Make the offering that you were created to gift to the world.......Step out and just start the thing......Nothing happens until you set the gift of your belief into motion.

Things didn't work out (from your perspective) this past year, but I believe things worked for you this year. You're now equipped with useful information of what didn't fit in, so that you can continue aligning with your purpose and moving forward.

Anticipate positively for your next move! Don't resist ------ Look forward to an upcoming Year of Powerful Expected Blessings......Believe it and move in the direction to receive it wholeheartedly without resistance.

Are you ready? Get Ready ------ Say goodbye and thank you to all that you survived this past year and open your arms to embrace a new, fresh reset of glorious beginnings!

The Universe has your back - it's for your good!

Don't spend too much time fuming, ruminating and focusing on revenge due to an unjustifiable wrongdoing.

This exercise will rob you of the great present moments that you should engulf yourself in. Remind yourself that you have breath and greatness and you're innately equipped for each leg of your journey. Find solace in knowing that the universe will even the score.

Take a step back and recall when someone has wronged you and you chose to "get even".....it simply placed undo stress on your life....your organs, your sleep and you wasted time by not positively focusing on what was ahead awaiting you.

Sit back....relax and just know: All things are working together for your greatest good!

Oftentimes we can't see the proverbial forest for the trees because we are insecure about the stability of what we thought should be maintained. Surrender to greater and greater will envelope your life.

Do not waste another moment....hour.....day.... trying to "get even" - Your perceived strengths of retaliation don't compare to the balancing of the scales that the karmic universe will work out on your behalf.

It's all for your good - Surrender - choose the path of least resistance. Relax and look forward to what is to come for you!

The End / The Beginning

As we conclude another year (2023) filled with wins, losses, economic turnmoil and celebrations, we anticipate the dawning of a brand new day/year (2024)

Now is the time to focus on The Present. The present, in a sense, becomes both the end and the beginning. Stop procrastinating about the thing you want to do.....stop overthinking and just get on with it.

Write the book, the song....take the trip, etc., blah blah and blah. Please stop seeking validation for the things that are singing within your soul. If your life is crying out for you to execute, you don't really need any external validation. The motivatation/inclination in and of itself is all the validation you need.

Celebrate and bury the end and look forward to a bright, wonderful and glorious New Year!

As we enter into a New Year, many are spouting well wishes for new beginnings and popping champagne bottles to either celebrate the ending of a tumultuous year or the beginning of a hopeful new one...who knows, but let's put into perspective what the celebration is all about.

Year after year...many write out and proclaim resolutions to complete unfinished business from the prior year or to start on a dream that's been delayed for days, weeks, months and several years, however, they're missing the point of resolutions. If your mindset hasn't evolved from those past days, weeks, months or years, what leads you to believe that your ability to execute in 2022 will be realized.

I have a better idea: Instead of proclaiming resolutions, which many have zero intention of executing on....focus on being present in the evolution of your mindset.....Reset and get serious about your actual Intention to Execute! No resolutions.......Intentions, instead!

Execute on a different mindset, which will inevitably push you into being aware of your intentions....and you'll move in the direction of what is really important to you this New Year....Focus on the New YOU and the New Year will fall into place.

What is ever normal?

So today the sun is bright.....really bright. It looks and potentially feels "normal" again, but I know there is no such thing. The pandemic has allowed me to reconcile with the fact that there is no "normal"...that Life Just is. Life is how we're choosing and responding. This is not to minimize the atrocities that families have faced and now certainly have to construct a "new normal" for themselves and communities have to rebuild from other calamities.

So much has been shaking the core of individuals, communities and organizations as of late and we're all coming to terms with what life really is all about. What is Normal? Is there truly a normal or is each present moment what presents at that time. Perhaps we've defined normal as what has been acceptable or historical, but today, you can redefine what your Normal becomes. You can define how normal looks and feels and allow it to change over time.

Don't box yourself into a status quo.....Soar like an Eagle....Eagles are not normal......Don't be part of the crowd....Stand Out - Thrive - Allow "normal" to become subjective and recreate what is good, pleasing and acceptable in your sight! What is really ever normal? You Decide.

This too shall pass

When you find yourself in the midst of a "new normal" you come to recognize that you've been neglecting a few things and taking too much for granted.

Many people are experiencing fear, anxiety, paranoia, panic and loss of self. Introverts who've relied upon their extrovert friends for balance are now faced with having to go inside and learn to appreciate the full breadth and appreciation of you they truly are as a whole, unique being. This can be a beautiful time, if you receive it as such.

This will pass....in the meantime, take heed to scientific data and accept that this unprecedented time in our history (at least during my lifetime) will pass and that this virus has no respect of person. It does not discriminate. It has touched lives across the globe and if you don't learn anything else from this experience, learn that: Life is fragile. Take time to check things off the "to do" list....finish that book, put the final (or beginning) touches on that painting, create the short film, compile the research for the idea that's been brewing in your head for weeks, months...years. Make the call to the person whom you've made excuses of "being too busy" for. Learn how to prepare your own healthy meals.

This is the time to be grateful that you have a "wake-up call" to global perspective. Take nothing for granted....Be Kind.....Be Compassionate....Be Thoughtful....Be Helpful. This temporary "new normal" can become a life-changing Now Normal that we've all needed to be reminded just how fragile life is. It's all about Community....Humanity. Time to take internal inventory.

Stay Safe...Wash your hands....strengthen your immunity.

Coming to the end for a new beginning

And so....here we are again -The end of another year. For you, it may be the end of a relationship, job, business venture...whatever the case may be, see it as an end making a way for a new beginning.

This time around, don't fret when you reach a bend in the road. Adjust what needs to be adjusted and keep it moving. Don't second-guess what the Universe is introducing you to.....go with the Path of least resistance, breathe and see where it takes you.

Be grateful for each opportunity that presented itself in this past year. Give Thanks for each encounter, victory, so-called failure, because it was part of the assignment.

Farewell to what has come to an end.....it needed to happen in order for this beautiful new beginning, new page, new chapter, fresh start to beckon you to what is waiting for your arrival. You're ready for this - Flow in your next assignment.

Boy, how time flies. We're already halfway into a new year. Are you on track ....accomplishing the goals you set out for the year? Are you still on task: starting, stopping, sustaining ideals that you identified were necessary for you to be fulfilled? Now's a great time to take inventory and audit your progress.

Don't throw in the towel if you're a bit behind schedule. If you've made any progress at all.....Keep Pushing. It's all about activity....productive, effective motion. Stay in the race....keep plugging away at it, whether it's starting, stopping or sustaining momentum in a forecasted project.....You will win if you don't quit. So: What are you busy accomplishing?

Let it Flow - don't look back

Your inner-being doesn't look back. Your future doesn't rely upon what was....it is fueled by what you are intentionally allowing. Don't fan the flames of your momentum by constantly glancing at or focusing on what has already been....you'll stunt the growth of what's blooming.

You inner-being has no desire for looking back. What has been, was the experience. Chalk it up as the normal course of life and keep one foot in front of the other....eyes on the prize and continue progressing!

You inner-being is flowing.....Let it progress in life's Flow....let it run free!

Who are you believing in?

Do you recall the last time you achieved a goal because someone had expectations that you would? Do you think having someone in your corner who believes in you helped with that attainment? Well, you've surely heard the old adage that "no man is an island" and "it takes a village." Well, those aren't just old cliches that should be ignored. We all need help and we all do better when we know someone has our back....someone believes in us....someone cares.

The next time a young child shares a dream or a curiosity with you....don't shrug it off and don't you dare discourage them. If it brewed up from within their spirit and they were courageous enough to verbalize and share it with you, well then, perhaps they're believing in you enough to believe in them and cosign on their dream and belief in themselves. Be the wind beneath their wings....cheer them on.....Set the expectation of achievement with them and watch them soar. Even if they miss the mark....they will continue to chase what's inside of them, knowing that someone has their back and believes that Yes They Can....Yes They Will!

Now, get out there...Keep Believing in Yourself....and Cheer Others on as well!

It's Open Enrollment Time - what you need to know

Open enrollment for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. Obamacare, begins Nov. 1. Whether you’re one of the roughly 10 million Americans already enrolled, or you’re thinking about enrolling now for the first time, here are three things you need to know:

The Sign-Up Window Is 6 Weeks Shorter This Year

The Obamacare open enrollment period for 2018 coverage runs from Nov. 1 through Dec. 15 for the 39 states that use healthcare.gov for individual and family coverage; this is six weeks shorter than last year. Don’t procrastinate: Healthcare.gov will have to accommodate consumers in a tighter window than last year, and if the web site or call center can’t handle the last-minute volume, you risk missing the deadline. Some states that are running their own exchanges have set their own deadlines. For example, New York State has retained last year’s Jan. 31 deadline. Here is a list of all states that are running their own programs.

It’s Important to Shop Around

The standard advice applies even more this year. For starters, the shorter open enrollment period means that existing Obamacare consumers who take no action during open enrollment will be automatically re-enrolled after open enrollment ends. If you’re unhappy with your 2018 coverage details or premium but miss the deadline, you won’t get a do-over like you did last year, when you were auto-enrolled for Jan. 1 but could switch plans until Jan. 31.

Secondly, a recent move by the Trump administration to discontinue Obamacare cost-sharing payments has changed this year’s math. Premiums for silver plans will rise an average of 34% this year, according to consulting firm Avalere. That’s bad news if you’re among the 15% of consumers who make too much to qualify for premium subsidies. But it could be good news if you do qualify, since premium assistance has grown to match the rising benchmark silver price. More consumers than in previous years will find that their subsidy covers the entire cost of a bronze plan, leaving them with $0 in monthly premiums, according to an analysis by the Wall Street Journal. What’s more, consumers living in certain places could find a gold plan that costs less in monthly premiums than a silver plan with higher deductibles, according to a New York Times analysis.

No Health Insurance? You Can Still Get Penalized

Despite numerous Republican efforts this year to repeal and replace it, the ACA is still the law of the land. And that means you’ll still owe a penalty at tax time if you don’t sign up for health coverage, with some exceptions.

NOW is all there is

This reminder alone solves the angst of most worry and depression. Once you come to realize that you can't undo the past and you don't control the future, you'll start to enjoy each present moment of your life. You'll come to appreciate the reality of WHAT truly IS!

There's nothing wrong with recalling the joys of your past from precious moments which have been created for the "present memory," however, you should not dwell on regrets of the past, which may inevitably lead down a dark road of depression. You should also not overwhelm your mind with trying to control what has not yet come to pass...This does not mean be reckless in not planning for your future, however, you have no control over the actual outcome and it doesn't yet exist.

LIVE for today....for THIS moment.....for What's REAL - NOW is all there ever is!

Rest in Peace & Power - Al Jarreau - Random Act of Love

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Grammy-winning jazz singer Al Jarreau has died in a Los Angeles hospital just days after announcing his retirement from touring due to exhaustion.

His official Twitter account and website say he died early Sunday. He was 76.

Jarreau was hospitalized earlier in the week and was said to have been improving slowly.

The Wisconsin native has won seven Grammys over a 50-year career. His biggest single was 1981's "We're in This Love Together." Jarreau was a vocalist on the all-star 1985 track, "We Are the World," and sang the theme to TV's "Moonlighting."

He is one of the few artists to have won Grammys in three separate categories — jazz, pop and R&B.

Jarreau is survived by his wife, Susan, and a son, Ryan.

In 2017, simply be on Purpose with Intentions that have realistic expectations. Don't look around and try to impress anyone....just do the thing that has to be done and poured out of your soul. Be About it....Execute on your vision. If you stumble....get back up. If you trip and fall, don't you dare stay down. Be About What you're serious and passionate about. Release what's fueling/burning deep down within......It might be for a cause, condition....relationship....move....whatever you find at the heart of your heart....Move on it - Execute!

Life is shorter than you think......Live each moment...bookmark the memories....make it great....make it unforgettable.
