Going Camping? VW Camping Trailer Is Here!

We’ve seen a BMW Truck, Toyota Prius RV and now with the popularity of the Volkswagen Transporter T5 vans, we knew someone would have this brilliant idea and finally its here, The VW Camping Trailer. The British company Doubleback has put this VW T5 into production that turns it into a mini motor home, pretty slick. With the press of a button, the rear slides out and nearly doubles the interior space.

It doesn’t end there! An elevating rooftop gives you the room to stand inside, while a kitchen area holds a 50-liter fridge with icebox. The only thing holding back this VW Camping Trailer is the expensive price tag.

In the UK, this modified van retails for £55,000, so its about $89,300 which is about twice the price of a stock VW T5 Transporter. However, when comparing this to a normal sized RV or motorhome, the Volkswagen 2.0-liter turbo diesel powerplant will be more efficient with a fuel economy of 36.7 mpg UK, 30.6 mpg US or 7.71 lt/km.

These figures will most likely be the main selling point for the VW Camping Trailer with the fuel prices so inflated today.

Godzilla Or Incredible Hulk? Stage 5 Nissan GTR

Godzilla went to watch the latest superhero action movie- The Avengers and thought ‘Godzilla’ sounded a bit unmanly and it was probably time for him to change into something more imposing or incredible, you know what I mean? So a team of professionals came together for a project that could go down as one of the most explosive GT-Rs on the planet.

A standard Nissan GT-R R36 was hunted down and stripped off most of its parts including the body panels.

Then, a custom widebody kit was bolted on, painted Hulk green and wheels were replaced with black HREs. Carbon fibre hood,fenders and splitter was provided by Stillen. Eibach springs all-around keep the wheels rolling on the tarmac while AP Racing brakes provide the anchors. Peek under the hood and you find a a JoTech Stage 5 kit- HKS GT800 turbo, a modified exhaust manifold and 50mm blow-off valve and pipes.

The HKS center pipe, and GReddy exhaust and intercooler, along with a clutch upgrade and an AMS fuel system. The result is a 942 bhp Hulk!

The Transformers trilogy brought the Chevrolet Camaro into every 10 year old’s bedroom and was further loved my kids for its Bumblebee role in the movie. GM even went on to make a Transformers special edition based on the standard Camaro for grownups.

For an extra 3 grands buyers got a new yellow paint, black rally stripes on the hood, roof, decklid and rear spoiler. Now, O.CT Tuning offers a more manly upgrade to the extra-terrestrial Camaro.

Souped-up version of the car features a supercharger and a stainless steel exhaust. The result is 630hp and 730Nm (538 lb-ft). They’ve recaliberated a few more thingies which they would disclose some time later. Meanwhile enjoy the images of the pumped-up Bumblebee.

If you’re wondering what Kim Kardashian is driving these days, then you won’t be surprised to find out that the model turned sex symbol has got a chromed out Audi R8. The epitome of bling that is chrome certainly goes well with Kim’s lifestyle, so to speak.

The side panels on the R8 coupe are blacked out and so are the 20 inch wheels. The wheel arches are filled with Forgiato Monoleggera Freddo-M wheels finished in gloss black. Apparently, Kim has posted this picture on some social network and this isn’t the first time that a celebrity has been spotted in a look-at-me, highly reflective automobile. Only recently, Justin Bieber was spotted in a chrome Fisker Karma.

It’s hard to tell who has poorer judgment: the total water on the brain blackout drunk driver swerving all over this two-lane highway, or the chattering idiots tailing him at close enough range that they’d almost inevitably be caught up in the carnage when said drunk gets slammed back by the head onon wreck that he comes very close to causing multiple times.

Well, the drunk probably. But still! Fortunately for all involved, the incident ends a lot less badly than it could have. Watch the video below and tell us whats your thoughts!

Project KAhn has found much success as an international style icon. His renditions of the Range Rover Evoque have garnered much acclaim thanks to a penchant for an exhilarating blend of bespoke design and fashionable accessories.

And now the principal British designer can add the RS250 Range Rover Evoque to his long list of fashion statements. Scheduled to make its debut in July 2012, this teaser sketch is more of statement announcing that the dream of owning an uncompromisingly designed RS250 Evoque by the UK’s most avant-garde designer is now a reality.

By another Car Enthusiasts friends sent us this picture of the Tough Custom Ford 49 Rat Rod that has been customized beyond you can’t even imagine. We had to find more of this car because it is truly a piece of art.

As you can see everything on this tuned car has been modified from the new engine with large stacks sticking out of the hood, the air bag suspension, unique piston and camshaft front grille design, and chain link welded steering wheel. It is a show winner with only 919 miles on the complete restoration. It is one of the baddest Mach 1 Mustangs I’ve ever seen built with the best of everything.

It is powered by a fully built fuel injected 5.0L 302ci engine with Edelbrock aluminum RPM heads and intake mated to a Ford AOD automatic transmission and is extremely fast!!! Alright, I am pretty sure most of you heard about this! The next Fast and furious franchise movie will be shooting in Europe. So this will be the Fast and Furious 6 we suppose? LOL

Vin Diesel has announced on his personal Facebook page (he must be really popular with 32 million likes?? ) that Fast and Furious 6 will be set in Europe. I wasn’t really crazy about how Fast Five de-emphasized automotive content in favor of interpersonal hullaballoo, so I’m hoping the number six will offer a fresh start.

And indeed, the imagination begins to churn at the storyline possibilities for a continental tuner melodrama (what cars will they use? is our biggest question here ), but we’ll have to wait until 2013 to see how it all pans out.

Also rumored, but unconfirmed. According to “The Sun” in UK, Rhianna will likely be cast as the villain.
