Tunisia Carthage Eagles soccer team won Kenya's 1/0 at a combined World Cup and African Cup of Nations Group B Day-5 qualifier played on Sunday afternoon in Rades. For their part, Nigeria’s team beat Mozambique’s 1/0.

Top finisher will qualify for the final stage of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The top three teams will qualify for the final stage of the ACN 2010 in Angola.

As part of the Tunisia’s national soccer Team preparations for the combined World Cup and African Cup of Nations (World cup 2010C/ACN), the Carthage Eagles are playing Vs Saudi Arabia's at a friendly match on October 14 but before that our National team will have an important event In Rades Stadium Vs Kenya on Saturday, October 10 in at (19:10), as part of the fifth day of the combined WC/ACN qualifiers.

The final match will be on November 14 in Maputo Group B Day-6 and last qualifier versus Mozambique.

Tunisia's Super carthage Eagles played a 2-2 draw with Nigeria in the World Cup qualifier. Tunisia equalized in the last minute and remains at the top of Group B

Peter Odewingie Osazie of Nigeria Team scored in the 23rd minute, but two minutes later Sliti Nabil of Tunisia score an equalizer.

Michael Eneramo(Esperence de Tunis) then put theSuper Eagles ahead 10 minutes before time but in the 90th minute, Oussama Daraggi leveled the score to 2-2.

In this regard,Tunisia remains at the top of Group B with eight points from four games while Nigeria has 6 points from four matches.

To begin with it’s important to mention that the golden age of baseball in Tunisia occurred during the existence of the American armies in the country, and especially after May 1942 morever, Tunisia was the first Arab country to involve this game within its official sport list.

Actually, the practice of base-ball was introduced in Tunisia after the First World War by Dr C.G. Kelly, from Baltimore,USA. The Tunisian baseball League was officially founded in 1920; it was followed by the French baseball federation in 1924.

Tunisia’s coach national soccer team, Paulo Coelho has announced the list of 24 players in view of the match against Nigeria’s Green Eagles on September 6 in Abuja, 2010 World Cup and African Cup of Nations ,Group B day-4 .

Among the list of players selected is the first calling of the Hanover defender Sofiene Chahed, and the comeback of Club Africain’s Zouheir Dhaouadi, the midfielder Haythem M’rabet and of Aymen Abdennour, the Etoile Sportive du Sahel defender and this is the final list:
