Oh jeez

2011-03-20T16:58:00.000-07:00

I need to remember to post more often. I find it difficult to get into the habit of blogging.

Here's a tip: Go get a PS3. They're awesome.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (Special 20th Anniversary Edition)

2010-11-10T15:31:00.000-08:00

From now on this blog is about audiobook reviews.

Ender's Game is a compelling tale about a young boy who is trained from a very young age to be a master solider and unbeatable tactician. He commands Earth's forces in their defeat of the Buggers.

The audiobook I listened to was the 20th anniversary edition, which had a great cast of voices and was terribly well performed. This is probably my favorite audiobook at this point.

Woah

2010-10-18T14:47:00.001-07:00

Apparently I've been away for a bit. I'm back now, it would seem.

Durbala burbala

2010-09-23T11:26:00.001-07:00

I have no idea anymore. I need to come up with some subject to talk about in this thing.

Have any ideas, folks?

Another week at College

2010-09-15T15:42:00.001-07:00

So I've finally gotten my schedule worked out. Things should be swell form here on in.

Once I get some more pottery made, I'll let you guys have a look.

Oops

2010-09-12T16:49:00.000-07:00

I almost forgot about this blog of mine. I've had a bit of a busy week.

Hopefully this coming week I'll have something more of interest to post. Later, folks.

I am tired.

2010-09-07T21:11:00.000-07:00

Seriously.

Like ultra tired.

Otherwise I would have something far more worthwhile to say.

Rifftrax

2010-09-06T12:44:00.000-07:00

Familiar with Mystery Science Theater 3000? No? Go watch it on Google Video.

If you are, make yourself familiar with Rifftrax as well. Rifftrax is the shiny reincarnation of MST3K, headed by Mike Nelson. Instead of riffing old and terrible movies, they riff new and only SOMETIMES terrible movies. Head over to Rifftrax.com and check it out!

Loads of new stuff

2010-09-04T17:19:00.000-07:00

Have you folks ever gone bargain shopping? I'm sure you have. Yesterday I did such a thing.

3 NES games, 1 SNES game, 1 360 game, 3 DVDs, and some other crap for pretty cheap.

Pawn shops are incredible. Also, if you have Big Lots in your area, stop in ASAP. Mine was selling DVDs for $3-$5. They aren't all crappy either. Casino Royale for $3. The Fugitive for $3. Go and buy!

I know freeness comes from the Internet, but I like having hard copies of some films. That's how I roll.

I thank all of you, my followers, for paying attention to my brief wanderings of mind. I now have over one hundred of you guys, and I'd just like you do know how much I appreciate it.

Thanks a bunch, folks!

A bold new look!

2010-09-03T13:53:00.000-07:00

I decided to add some pizazz to the blog. What do you think?

In other news, allergy season is at hand and it is messing with me. I drown my sorrows in Mediterranean food and vidya.

Long day

2010-09-02T20:10:00.001-07:00

I just got home an hour ago, thus have been out of the house for 12 hours, 2 of those being driving.

Feels bad, man.

Pretty picture

2010-08-31T06:54:00.000-07:00

As one of you asked for it, here is a picture of some of my ceramic work. These are a pair of white stoneware goblets I fired in a wood kiln at about cone 10. Don't know what that is? Google it.

Some content now, if you please.

I am a student of the arts, namely sculpture and ceramics. I've been told by both professors and more intimate acquaintances that I a very skillful with my hands. I can tease an awful lot of detail out of the various mediums that I work in if I can build up the motivation to do so.

I chiefly work in miniature sculpture, when it comes to my actual artistic pursuits. I can create in almost any medium, but none so artistically as in miniature.

I hope that I artfully mentioned art enough in this art of an entry to put art somewhere in the random but arty links.

The other time of day

2010-08-30T17:52:00.001-07:00

Second part of my study.

So far I have determined that 3 people cannot read.

The time of day

2010-08-30T08:15:00.000-07:00

I could be wrong, but I'm going to test to see if more people visit blogs that update in the morning or in the evening. Stand back please as I attempt science.

Oh, and if you want to be on my list, please refer to List the First. You will find it below this.
