If we were to all gather together into one great big super ultra top secret mega toothpick, then maybe we'd have a chance against this years first flu, "super flu". Its spreading the world and with its vast grip of icy death, its bent on world domination and the extermination of the human race.

I recently overcame this master of death this fucking SF(super flu), it pounds on you until your skull rips apart and your nose runs like the Nile. And it never stops, destruction is its ultimate goal so it takes out your mental capabilities, and replaces them with confusion and remnants of what once was your psyche. When you are finally helpless and wandering about with no mind, no strength, beaten far to the ground with SF's thunder hammer, and with the upper half of your body exterminated it stalks you and finishes you off with boils not seen or heard of since Pharaoh's days and leaves you bloodied and beaten on the floor.

Seven Charged in Kosovo Organ-Trafficking Ring

An article I read on THE NEWYORK TIMES the other day. I thought it was interesting enough to share.

PRAGUE — At least seven people have been charged with participating in an international organ-trafficking network based in Kosovo that sold kidneys and other organs from impoverished victims for up to $200,000 to patients from as far away as Israel and Canada, police and senior European Union officials said Monday.

According to the indictment, the traffickers lured people from slums in Istanbul, Moscow, Moldova and Kazakhstan with promises of up to $20,000 for their organs. Law enforcement officials say many never received a cent. The operations were performed at a private clinic in a run-down neighborhood on the outskirts of Pristina, the Kosovar capital.

While the ring was first discovered two years ago, the global scale of the network and its victims is only now becoming clear.

Officials said the ringleader was a highly regarded surgeon and professor at Pristina University Hospital, Dr. Lutfi Dervishi. The clinic was run by his son, Arban. Also charged was Ilir Rrecaj, a senior official in Kosovo’s Health Ministry when the ring was broken. They and two others are accused of crimes including trafficking in humans and body parts, unlawful medical activity, participating in organized crime, and abuse of office. All were released on bail.

The charges have shaken Kosovo, which has been struggling to integrate with the West since it declared independence from Serbia in February 2008. The case is also a test of the nascent legal institutions and rule of law as Kosovo seeks to overcome a culture of endemic lawlessness and corruption that has reached the highest levels of government.

The trafficking network’s tentacles reached far. Warrants were issued for a Turkish doctor and an Israeli financier, and two other doctors, an Israeli and a Turk, were named as co-conspirators.

The police said the ring had its roots at a medical conference in 2006 in Istanbul, where Dr. Dervishi met the Turkish doctor being sought, Yusuf Sonmez. Law enforcement officials describe Dr. Sonmez as a notorious international organ trafficker.

The Medicus clinic had been founded by a European philanthropist who aided ethnic Albanian doctors during the war in Kosovo in 1999. Dr. Dervishi, police officials said, secretly transformed it into a hub for illegal organ transplants, which were performed by Dr. Sonmez.

The indictment was first reported by The Associated Press. In it, a European Union prosecutor, Jonathan Ratel, said that in 2008, 20 foreign nationals living in “extreme poverty or acute financial distress” were “recruited with the false promises of payments.”

The police said they broke the ring in November of that year, when a young Turkish man, Yilman Altun, was found at the Pristina airport, weak and frail. Mr. Altun told the police that his kidney had been stolen. When the police raided the Medicus clinic, they discovered an elderly Israeli man who had received Mr. Altun’s kidney.

European Union officials said that the indictment in the case had been filed in district court in Kosovo and that a preliminary hearing was expected by the end of the year. If a judge confirms the charges, a trial will follow.

The European Union has a large law enforcement mission in Kosovo to combat crime and corruption. But that fight has proved difficult, with suspicions of bribes, money laundering, organized crime, fraud and now organ trafficking, ensnaring high-level government officials.

Several countries are examining the Kosovo ring, with police investigators combing through the phone records, computer hard drives and bank transfers of those charged. European Union officials said the recipients paid for the kidneys by bank transfers, helping lead the police to the main suspects.

Western law enforcement officials said they suspected the ring might be part of a larger criminal network whose nexus was in Israel. In September, five doctors from South Africa were charged with participating in an international kidney-trading syndicate in which dozens of poor Brazilians and Romanians were paid for kidneys for wealthy Israelis. Analysts said the organ-trafficking case was part of a disturbing global trend in which unscrupulous traffickers take advantage of the growing waiting lists of desperate patients and the vulnerability of poor people further buffeted by the international financial crisis.

In the United States, more than 109,000 people are on the waiting list for organ transplants, mostly kidneys, and 18 die each day, according to the United Network for Organ Sharing, which manages the American transplant system.

Thai Police Find 2,000 Illegally Aborted Fetuses

BANGKOK — Two thousand fetuses from illegal abortion clinics have been found hidden at a Buddhist temple here, igniting calls for stricter abortion laws in a nation that is both socially conservative and sexually tolerant.

An undertaker in Bangkok told police officers investigating complaints of an overwhelming stench that the fetuses were supposed to have been cremated, but that he had begun to store them in the mortuary after the temple’s crematorium broke down, according to local news reports.

He said he poured gasoline around them to mask the odor, and finally when the numbers grew too large, he dug a pit to bury them. But neighbors complained, and the stored fetuses were discovered on Tuesday.

The police have arrested two undertakers and a woman who confessed to delivering fetuses to the temple from several clinics. She said she was paid as much as 500 baht, about $16, per delivery and that she paid the undertaker as much as 200 baht to dispose of them. Buddhist cremations are generally performed at temple crematoriums.

The woman also said she had performed illegal abortions and was raising eight children who had survived the procedure, according to local newspaper accounts.

Explaining her adoption of these children, The Nation newspaper quoted her as saying she rescued them after failed abortions because “if the kids won’t die, there’s no need to kill them.”

The case has been a sensation in the local press and has led to calls for stronger laws controlling abortion, which is legal only in cases or rape or incest or if the mother’s life is in danger.

Thailand is a Buddhist country, and many people are generally conservative on sexual matters. Though there is a thriving sex industry here and birth control is widely available, advocates for safe sex say many young people are ill informed on the subject.

On Tuesday, the police said they had discovered 348 fetuses, but the number grew as they continued to search, and on Friday they reported that the total had risen to more than 2,000.

After the discovery, the police raided clinics in the area and told local reporters they had found 20 clinics performing illegal abortions.

Responding to the calls for stronger laws against illegal abortions, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said that although the case highlighted the extent of the problem, the current legislation was “flexible enough.”

Under Thai law, a person who performs an illegal abortion can face up to five years in prison and a fine of up to 10,000 baht, or about $333. The penalty increases if the abortion seriously injures the pregnant woman.

The public health minister, Jurin Laksanavisith, said that one million Thai women became pregnant each year, with 60,000 suffering miscarriages and 80,000 having legal abortions. He gave no estimate of the number of illegal abortions.

The Public Health Ministry ordered a nationwide crackdown on clinics that perform illegal abortions after the discovery at the temple.

The woman under arrest, Lanchakorn Janthamanas, 33, was quoted in newspapers as saying that she learned to perform abortions by watching the doctor and the nurse with whom she used to work. Most of her customers were students and teenagers, she said.

She told the police that she earned 5,000 baht for an abortion on a woman up to three months pregnant and 30,000 baht for a woman more than five months into her term, The Bangkok Post reported.

The Nation quoted Ms. Lanchakorn as telling the police that the fetuses were taken secretly to the crematorium and were hidden with other bodies to be cremated.

She said that without knowing it, monks would perform prayers for the fetuses along with the prayers for those being cremated.

Investigators said they had questioned the abbot and monks at the temple, Wat Phai Ngerm Chotanaram, and concluded that they were not involved in the case, the newspapers reported.

Before the development of the personal computers, we kids used to spend our time talking with each other and playing outdoor games, all of which involved a great amount of interaction. A few years went by as technology advanced, and people’s time, in large amounts, was spent in front of computer screens. We stopped our usual outdoor activities and the enjoyment of relaxing in social atmospheres dwindled. Games for the PC began coming out on to the global market: they were highly addictive, new and exciting. The games were readily accepted by us in our teenage years. We got so used to staying at home alone with our computers that we soon gave up the social excitements we had as children. As I look back and see what had happened to us in our childhood, I realize it wasn’t just an isolated situation, but a widespread condition in which people became unsocial from excessive amounts of time spent and lost in the world of technology. With all the benefits that we got from the technological boom, the problems are easy to see and sometimes I miss the days when your neighbor was consulted rather than your computer, and when conferences took place offline.

Well, Skip Monday.

He wakes up.. "Holy fuck! Its 4 p.m."
Phone rings, "Damn its just the alarm".
Phone rings again(6 p.m.), "Yes? Oh, its you girl? How't goin'?"
Lo asked if he is going to sports.

Finally he opens his eyes, the room looks like shit as usual. "Where are my cigarettes?" Lights one, sits on the window seal.

He wakes up again, catches the ball and lifts it into the ring. Well not quite, a straight-miss, "Nice going Judge".
An hour flies by, and the lights go out.

He finds himself on a roof, cancer-stick lit. Lo, Tim, Brother, and Chris are next to him.

His phone starts to ring, sounds like a baby laughing while defecating on the doctor who delivered him. "Whats that, someone crying? Bene are you, ok?"
She told him that Roy is leaving. - - - -

Time stops, tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-silence.
MRT is to slow, is the only thing that passes through his head as he runs to the park, Lo and Tim in close pursuit.

They all arrive at the park, some stairs lead down to the place. Lo said they were here.
Its dark, and he can't see anything. "I'll wait here, you guys go check".

"Roy! Roy!"
Lo yells.
(Silence)
"Roy?"
"Over here fuckers"

Tim and Lo run up while he lags behind with bowed head. What happened?
Bene sits cross-legged, motionless, like a stone statue outlined by the moonlight, if there was any moon light. Words are exchanged but they are just a blur, the silence is more notable. What they say doesn't matter, his nightmare is real. He sits down cross legged as well, unable to move even though his biggest desire is to hug the person next to him xD(couldn't help it)

Roy looks like shit.

Silence continues in his head, until people start to leave.

He stays..

How it rushes through me, and with its all powerfull force soothes my soul.
How I relish feeling the burning desire to tear out one individuals heart with my bear hands, who to me is considered a "pain in the ass" or a "bug in the wound".
I love the look of terror in their eyes, when they see the fires burning within mine. They see in my eyes endless years of torture inflicted apon their own bodies, unimaginable pain will come to them who dare to cross my perfectly placed wall of superiority.
Those arrogant fools who think that they can place themselves in such a position that would allow them to hint that my way, "the way", was erred, will feel my vengeance like a wave of annihilation that will bring them down to the bottom where they started.

Religious Thinking Replaces Realistic Thinking

With the nineteenth century begins the winter of the West. Its thousand years of cultural vitality are over; there is no true artistic creativity left. The preceding centuries were marked by an instinctive sense of form and style—Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque—but the new age is inchoate and confused.

It is the rise of the middle classes that explains this cultural incoherence. They resent the aristocracy with its refined manners and sure taste; they pursue untrammelled freedom as an end in itself; their ignorant artistic forays produce meaningless fluctuations of style—the warfare of Classicism and Romanticism leads to endless barren “experiments.”

Political life is equally meaningless. Parliamentarism provides a talking shop that obscures the basic political reality—the triumph of money. Before the power of financial speculation everything gives way: constitutionalism, democracy, even socialism. Politicians are the agents of financial interests.

Yet their power is not eternal. Blood, ethnic pride, cultural chauvinism, territorial instincts and natural aggressiveness, will soon assert themselves against the world of money, science, and technological prowess. An age of violent conflict is opening, and with the First World War of 1914-1918 it is obvious an era of perpetual warfare has begun.

New Caesars with armies of fanatical devotees struggle for mastery. Meanwhile the mass of mankind looks on with growing bewilderment, apathy, or resignation, prepared to accept the fate that determined soldiers, terrorist movements, fearful police and militarised states impose.

But long before this comes about, political ideologies and parties will have lost their meaning. Life in a globalised world falls to a level of uniformity where local and national differences virtually cease to exist. The only places that matter will be a handful of gigantic “world cities”—New York, Berlin, Tokyo or Beijing. These will be what Hellenistic Alexandria and Imperial Rome were to the ancient world—vast assemblages of people all living on top of one another, a mob following anyone who keeps them amused.

The lives of the masses will be an empty rehearsal of dull tasks and brutal diversions—arenas and gladiators, gross spectacles of sensuality and sadism watched by drunken roaring crowds. Music will be similarly depraved. Intellectual activity becomes mechanized, practical, cold, and merely clever. The educated lose their feeling for language, and the same basic speech—a coarse argot filled with obscenity—is spoken by intellectuals and workers alike.

Then when every trace of cultural form and style has disappeared, a new primitivism begins to pervade all human activity. Even the feeling for scientific truth—which may for some time outlast the dissolution of culture—grows vague and uncertain. Superstitions thrive; men believe anything; their appetite for the mysterious and supernatural expands and flourishes. It becomes hard to tell fiction from fact or fact from fiction.

In vulgar credulity the common people try to escape the universal boredom of work in a mechanized and bureaucratized world. Then out of the desolation of city life arises a “second religiosity”, a fusion of popular cults and dim memories of forgotten piety. In this way the uncomprehending masses seek to assuage their misery.
