<![endif]-->The park ranger Luis Arias, ATE delegate spoke to Radio Nihuil last Friday, and confirmed that unfortunately there was no agreement with the Environment Secretariat; therefore the season of Aconcagua Provincial Park does not begin today. The request of personnel, clothing, communications, vehicles, among others, needed to cater for tourists and protect the flora and fauna of the province of Mendoza were made in May, and we reach this date with the same deficiency, without obtaining a favorable response.

Park rangers are not only needed for Aconcagua, but for all other protected areas in the region, said Arias.

After the meeting, it was decided for tomorrow at 10 am a parity with the Secretariat of Environment and after it, to convene a meeting of rangers that will depend on the government’s response.

Capilla nuestra señora de la Asunción in Villa la Angostura is a beautiful chapel that was built in 1936. The architect Bustillo did a wonderful work in this chapel located just 473 kilometres away from the city of Neuquén, an interesting tourist destination in your next travel Argentina.

It is a charming site where you will enjoy great views and you will find tranquillity. It must be said that there aren’t many travel agencies that offer tour packages in Neuquén that include this outstanding site in Villa La Angostura. Most of them include outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, horseback riding and diving.
Travel agencies usually suggest visiting: El Messidor, Regional historical Museum, La Flecha and National Park the Arrayanes in Villa La Angostura. It is advisable to call +54 2944 494244 and ask for more detailed information about the different tourist attractions in this city. It is the telephone number of the municipality of Villa La Angostura. However, I must say that there is no information about the personnel of that establishment. They may only speak Spanish.
If you are keen on adventure, you will find in this tourist destination in Neuquen many activities that will appeal to you. However, if you have the chance, visit the province of Mendoza and look for climbing expeditions to Mount Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas that is a real challenge. Ask for offerts in travel packages in this destination.
