Days when we enjoyed all the weekdays at college and vowed to study at the weekends

Now have become days we work weekdays and vow to enjoy at weekends

The virtual hangout place GMAIL is replaced by OUTLOOK

Even the mails have changed from Dear all, Njoy the mail, Amazing ,Weird, Forward to all to PFA ( Please find attached) ,FYI (For your Information ) , OK, Thnx.

Even the Malls say that I spent more time at the formals section than the casual one.

Management Books have replaced fiction Books

The conversation has changed on chats from Hows life? to Hows Job? as if Job has become my life

Nights when we used to enjoy the Rock Garden Masti have changed now to tuning on to the Business Channel at night to see how your investments, stocks perform today.

But all these seem to be different when I look back home

The smile on mother’s face after receiving a saree from her son’s earned money.

The constant sense of satisfaction on father’s face with a feeling I have waited long for this day to see my son responsible .

To be transferred from the liabilities side to the assets side of family’s balance sheet.

To sense that I have become more responsible more concerned back home.

I would rather say

‘MY PARENTS WHO HAVE LIVED THEIR LIVES FOR ME,

पावसा पावसा कधी होशील रे पाऊस ?

मानसा मानसा कधी होशील रे मानूस
अशी कुणाची तरी कविता आहे. कुणाची तरी अशासाठी, की मला कवितेतलं ओ की ठो कळतनाही. कळलं,
तरी लक्षात राहत नाही. मग कशाला डोक्याला ताप घ्या? कुणाची तरी असंम्हटलं,
की सगळे प्रश्न मिटतात.

तर ते असो.
सांगण्याचा उद्देश हा, की सध्या पावसा पावसा कधी होशील रे पाऊस,
असं म्हणायची वेळआलेय.

यंदा भरपूर पाऊस होणार...मान्सून आला...
102 टक्के सरासरी गाठणार..जूनची सरासरीओलांडली...खंडीभर बातम्या लिहून,

वाचून आणि संपादित करून जूनच्या पहिल्यापंधरवड्यात भरपूर करमणूक झाली. या बातम्या वाचतानाच मनात शंकेची पाल चुकचुकतहोती.

चोर-दरोडेखोर जसे पेपरमधल्या बंदोबस्ताच्या बातम्या वाचून सावध होतात ना,तसाच पाऊस झाला तर?
पण स्वयंघोषित हवामानतज्ज्ञ सांगत होते, `गेल्या वर्षी दुष्काळहोता. म्हणजे यंदा पाऊस नक्की पडणार.
अगदी सरासरी ओलांडणार...' मग आमची तोंडंगप्प झाली.

पण व्हायचं तेच झालं. गेले पंधरा दिवस पाऊस वाकुल्या दाखवतोय. पुण्यात,
पुणे जिल्ह्यातजोरदार पाऊस पडून पाणी वगैरे भरल्याच्या बातम्या एखाद-दोन वेळाच वाचायला मिळाल्या.
त्यादेखील जूनच्या पहिल्या आठवड्यात. त्यातला निम्मा पाऊस तर मान्सूनचा नव्हताच...
ट्रेकला सुरुवात करायची म्हणून गेल्या रविवारी भातराशी ट्रेकला जाऊन आलो.पवनानगरच्या अगदी पावसाच्या पट्टयात. वाटलं,

पावसात चिंब भिजता येईल. पण कसलंकाय नि कसलं काय...
औषधालाही पाऊस नव्हता. एकदा धुक्याचं दर्शन झालं, तेवढंच.
काल खडकवासल्याला गेलो होतो. तिथेही पाऊस भेटला नाहीच.
साधे ढगसुद्धा सिंहगडाच्याटोकावरून खाली उतरायला तयार नव्हते.

गेल्या वर्षी पावसानं असंच कुथवलं होतं. जूनची पुण्यातली सरासरी ओलांडून गेली आणि मगपावसासारखा पाऊस काही पडलाच नाही. जुलै, आॅगस्टमध्ये थोडी भरपाई केली त्यानं, पणतेवढीच.
गेल्या वर्षी पाच जुलैला ताम्हिणीत गेलो होतो. नेहमीपेक्षा जरा लवकरच.
पुण्यातपावसाची फारशी लक्षणं नसल्यानं या ट्रिपविषयी जरा धाकधूकच मनात होती.
पण जातानाचएका छोट्या धबधब्यानं उत्साह वाढवला. नंतर तर रस्त्यावर आम्ही धुक्यात हरवून गेलो
आणि ताम्हिणीत फार नाही, पण आनंद घेण्याएवढे धबधबे मिळाले.

यंदा एवढ्यात ताम्हिणीत जायचा विचार नाहीये, पण पावसाची प्रतीक्षा मात्र आहे.
ताम्हिणीसह माळशेजही करायचा बेत आहे. बघूया. आधी पाऊस तर पडू दे.!

Some poems go deep penetrating in our hearts;awakening us to think,rethink and to discover our goals.They help us to find the real meaning of life.They make us feel very confident,enthusiastic,brave.They provide a strong support for making tommorrow a better place.

One such lovely poem is with me.The poem was told by Shri.Vishwas Nangre patil (A senior police officer) during his speech at Shardanagar.One can know him better by his raid at Sinhagad near Pune on RAVE party and also one of the officers injured during the 26/11 attacks on TAJ hotel. Posting his photo as well.He is a source of inspiration for rural students and a perfect example that doing education in a city is not necessary to be with the fast running worldbut its your potential and ability that takes you to the Zenith.I have the AV of that speech.The Speech is very Inspirational to youth as well as learner of any age.

This poem is having a long lasting impact on my mind.It make me to think of my self,my mission,purpose of life,way towards infinity,And especially a journey Beyond the Horizons.And so I decided to share it with you.I hope you will enjoy reading this masterpiece.Waiting for your comments.

I WANNA GROW UP ONCE AGAIN

I saw 3 idiots on 27th December and had a time of life that day. All memories of my boarding school and UG flashbacked my mind and heart ….One song touches my heart very much thats GIVE ME SOME SUNSHINE GIVE ME SOME RAIN GIVE ANOTHER CHANCE I WANNA GROW UP ONCE AGAIN….
The film has broken all box office record and also revolutionized AAL IZZ WELL concept….
But I am missing my school days and really feel I WANNA GROW UP ONCE AGAIN
I have been in boarding school since 1st standard and since then i have seen diff species,breeds,varieties of characters starting from the chaturs to the viruses

On Christmas eve i was wondering what to do and make my day special.I pondered and then came to a conclusion that watching my favourite movie -SWADES is the best option.It was 14th time i watched the movie.This movie is about NRI person who returns back to India leaving the prestigious NASA.The is an Ashu Gowi direction inspired by Aravinda Pillalamarria who came to India and developed a pedal run power generator

I have a special attachment with this movie as most of its shooting was done in Wai ,Satara...The village brings reminds me of my village and home and the house shown in it just resembles my grandfather's home..the same veranda and the narrow streets..I miss all this sitting a small room and ACs which only contribute CLIMATE CHANGE..and differences between classmates to keep it on or off..The movie also sends a message the you may reach the zenith of succes in life but you cannot forget your grassroots,your own place..Cherishing my memories i am uploading some screenshots from MY FAV MOVIE---Swades

My Struggle For AVATAR

Early morning Datta asked me about going to AVATAR .....I heard about the movie that it is from the director of TITANIC..so had some curiosity i it..confirmed its supremacy by seeing the trailer on net..and decided that we gonna go for the movie today with Apna CR.
Somebody suggested go to METRO cinema as it was nearby..We went there and were disappointed that a Telugu movie was screening there. Nearby a theatre by name Shree Raama but were again the show had already
started and more soever it was in Hindi.. Now what to do we decided we will see the movie today itself even if we have to go faraway...From there we went to PRASADA ---houseful--then --GVK mall @ PVR houseful----then INOX @central again houseful---now our patience was been tested ...w got to know a theatre by the name SHANTI--name itself was weird...but we had taken a resolution that we want to see AVATAR of the hollywood people...The curiosity was more in the fact the what a Hollywood movie would show in HINDI word
titled.. We bought tickets for 6pm show and did some shopping and then completed our resolution..SHANTI as a theatre was a perfect example of value propostion...Finally we got to witness the AVTARS of the western people..

My Famville Story

It was before the Diwali holidays that Datta,Jitender,Shreyansh,Sanket were playing a weird game by the name Farmville...Farming in the Virtual world seems a different idea....My facebook account was old but not active....
Just befor going to the diwali i decided that i would play farmville just to pass my time......The craze for farmville did not take time for me as i was on high time at home with putting alarms for my harvesting times....

After diwali i was leading in XP...I intrdouced the game to mayn of my classmates and hence started the saga of FARMVILLE in my class...GIFT EXHANGE,COINS,XP,FV were the buzz word...my saturation point was reaching near as i decided to buy 20 tractors just to be a little different...I accomplished this target and continued my journey towards 1lakh XP....Here I need to mention Nitin Sir for their late but great entry in farmvill...they were on a roll with crossing everybody and poising a threat to some veteran Farmville players......

Now I am bored of farmville..The same clickssssssssssss and gifts...
But one thing is sure that Farmville has snatched the supremacy of orkut in india towards Facebook...Now facebook is the buzzing social networking site.....6 million people play farmville that almost 1 % of the world not bad seeing that computer penetration is still not upto that mark in the world.....

Yesterday saw the movie The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3..Another Daniel Washington classic movie
It is about hijackers who hijack a subway train and then the train dispathers(daniel) come into play.
The Movie is Simple in storyline but Daniel Bhai makes the difference..his expresions are the key in the movies success in my mind.......His natural moves and facial expressions makes him an ideal actor....His others movies like GREAT DEBATTERS,Man on fire and Remember the Titans will change your perceptions about acting......

Types of Students:-

# The First Benchers - The daring ones who look into danger’s eyes straight on. Mostly to be in teacher’s good books and sometimes because sitting anywhere else may lead to sleep

# The Third Benchers – They are those students who don’t want to sit right under teacher’s nose and yet don’t want to be the “back benchers” so they sit in between.

# The Outlookers - No no they are not the ones with some radical outlook or any outlook at all. They are the ones who sit by the window seats in class and keep looking outside at God knows what!

# The Legendary Back Benchers – The ones who sit on the last benches in the hope of playing cows and bulls or do other naughty activities during class. Yet once in a while some smart ones also emerge from there.

# The Wise Guys – Those students whose sole purpose in class is to gain girls’ attention by passing comments and getting encouraged by their giggles.

# The Ever Doubtful – The ones who have the hobby of inventing doubts in simplest things and sometimes pursue the teacher from second floor (where classroom is) to ground floor (where staffroom is) holding copy and asking doubts.

# The Flirts – Those who try to get into good books and gain favours by flirting with the teacher of opposite sex. Some even succeed entirely due to the teacher’s lack of integrity.

# The Blank Lookers – Those with a blank expression on their faces always which seems to suggest that they have no idea as to why they are in this field.

# The Yawners - The ones who yawn in class like an anaconda opening its jaw to swallow a big animal, that too not behind teacher’s back and don’t even have the manners to cover their mouths.

# The Moths – Those students whose eyes keep flitting towards the girls’ side while taking down lectures and become very attentive when a girl stands up to ask something.

# The Chicks – The pretty, stylish girls who by their mere presence create a sort of sexual tension in the class. Mostly useless in studies.

# The Stimulators – Those students who grasp the topic, are intelligent in a non-geeky way, ask the right questions and are fun to teach.

# The Extra Curriculars – Those who are very active in sports, seminars, functions and what not..anything except studies.

# The Guest Stars – Those who show up in one class, bunk next 7 classes and again show up and so the game of hide and seek goes on entire session.

Hot As Hell

AAACHHOOOOO!!!!

That morning sneeze…

That morning chill in the air….

That extra laziness to get out of bed…. [extra because I feel lazy to get out of bed daily! ]

That reluctance to wash one’s face with that cold water….

Even more reluctance to have a bath….Thank god for geyser!

Applying lots of moisturizer on dry skin and lip balm on dry lips….

Eating peas stuffed kachori, vegetable cutlets, carrots, spring onion (pyaj koli to be precise) sabzi ….

Smaller days and longer nights….

That bump in the elbow hurting real bad….

Sipping that warm coffee….

When I got up this morning, I found that winter is here already! In October!

But will it stay?

I am wondering this because the duration and the magnitude of Winter season has been decreasing every year in my town. It gets cold for two days and then again it is as hot as in summer. Last year it was proper Winter only for two weeks, that too in January. December was quite warm. All my sweaters including the Allen Solly ones which I had been waiting to show off didn’t get a chance to come out of the closet. Sigh!

Those who say global warming is a myth should come and stay in my town for a year. The temperature in summer reaches 46 deg C , the monsoon is erratic, no more 4-5 days of continuous heavy rain like we used to have many years ago, no more cold winter months and the pleasure of sleeping under quilts. And after the so called winter, its Summer again. There is no Spring practically!

I guess all of you had read several posts on October 15 about Global Warming as many bloggers had participated in Blog Action Day 2009. As I was on my Diwali vacation during that time and as I don’t think blogging about an issue should be restricted to just one day, I am blogging about it now. Moreover I have not added my blog to that website [as it asked for my password] but still I feel strongly about the issue. Today when I felt the first winter chill, I was happy!! But that happiness was short-lived as I remembered last year’s winter season and the change in my town’s climate over the past few years.

Trust me, no matter how much water is found on the Moon or how many missions are sent to Mars, this is the only planet that can sustain life.

So save it while you still can. Or it will be literally hot as hell on Earth. Here a few things you can do at your level to stop global warming :-

RECESSION SAYS IT ALL!

As we know, there are vast numbers of Indians working abroad in IT companies. One of the major impacts of recession or economic slowdown has been on such midsized IT companies and to some extent, the big players too. This has created a scenario where employers are cutting back on contracts and are forced to lay off workers. Layoffs will be affecting people working in countries other than their own as they will be the first ones to be fired. This is so because obviously every country would not want to keep their citizens jobless and employ a foreigner.

This is exactly what happened to my sister’s Indian friend, Mrs. Reddy who stays in Ireland. Mrs. Reddy thought that she had it all made. Her husband was placed highly in an MNC, they had bought a lovely house and what’s more, she too had secured a job in the same company. So they could commute to and fro to work together. But as ill times would have it, the recession hit and slowly employees in their company started to get the pink slips. Fearing the same would happen to them, Mrs. Reddy decided on what she thought would be the rational move to make. She quit her job and took up another offer presuming that at such an alarming rate of terminations in their present company, either or both she and Mr. Reddy could be asked to leave. So, by joining another company, at least one of them would be in a job.

Much to their chagrin, their plan backfired as the company Mrs. Reddy joined also began to lay- off its employees and the first ones asked to leave were the ones who had joined in the recent three months. So Mrs. Reddy lost her job and within a few days Mr. Reddy was asked to leave. But he got a hefty compensation as did all the people who were in the company for a year or more. Unfortunately Mrs. Reddy lost not only her job but this compensation as well.

Now she has returned to India and is staying alternately with her parents and in-laws while her husband is still in Ireland desperately hunting for a job before his visa expires failing which he will have to return as well. They will not be able to procure a good price for their house or car with the falling economy and it pains their hearts to see their dreams crumble just when things were on an upscale.

Another incident which is a little out of the ordinary is the one that happened to my colleague’s sister. The girl has been staying in California, US for the past four years and now when her parents started pressurizing her to give her consent for marriage, she agreed to it but with a condition of her own. She insisted that the boy should be working in California as she wanted to settle there. Her parents, after a lot of pains, did find a boy working there. Both the parties were agreeable to the match, the boy and girl liked each other and just before talks headed towards the planning of the betrothal, the boy lost his job and had to return to India. Now all talks have come to a standstill. The girl is adamant about her decision and the boy is still hunting for a job not knowing whether he will get one in India or California. Now one wonders whether things will move forward if the boy does get a job in California or what would have taken place if the girl were to lose her job and return to India. Yet another effect of recession!

Fortunately for India there was no real recession, albeit some sectors were affected. Job losses became common leading to a fear psychosis gripping not just affected industries but others as well. The recession mind set has led to some value choices being made which may remain with the Indian consumer as we head into the future.

So, while Indians have not seen recession, they have been affected by the ‘recession psyche’. The outcome will undoubtedly be smarter, savvier and economically sensible Indians heading into the future.

E-Terrorism!

Even if you are not computer savvy but have an email account, than it is for sure to have encountered email terrorist attack on your mail box. Wondering who these terrorists are and what are they up to?Definitely you must have got mails at some point of time from your own near and dear ones with a beautiful picture of some God or Goddess and asking you to concentrate on its eyes to reap many fold benefits or witness some kind of miracle in your life to happen in the next 7 days. Needless to say that normally such kind of unsolicited chain mails keep coming on your mail box. These mails with spiritual or religious sentiments attached come with statutatory warning that the chain should not be discontinued to avail the benefit and also must be forwarded to another 10 persons failing which you shall encounter some miss happening! And lo! You are in soup what to do next, to forward the mail or not. God only knows who the perpetrators of such mails are and what their agenda is but one thing is sure, the threat and the fear factor works. Invariably, the recipient of such mail is tempted to pass on the buck on to another 10 persons. This is what I term as e-terrorism!In a similar manner, there is one more kind of e-terrorism not in the nature of chain mails which keep popping up on to your mail box. These are bound to rob you off if not acted wisely. Sample this:-“Congratulations, your email Id has been selected by our electronic random selection system for a cash prize of US$ 50, 00,000/-” OR “You have won a

UK lottery of 165, 50,000 pounds in our monthly draw, Congratulation!”In such mails, you are asked to send them Bank details; password, email Id password, etc along with foreign remittance of few thousands to cover handling charges. What happens next should be well known to avid readers of any newspaper. The bank account is hacked and computer injected with virus through e-terrorism!

We all came to this world, gifted with innocence.Life was so joyful being a child. We smiled more than 400 times a day. We reveled in the simple pleasures of life, be it indulging ourselves completely in a cone ice cream, dripping down in our fingers, or insouciant trails with nature, where we counted the number of stars in the sky and followed the moon running behind us. What on earth went wrong while we were growing up? While we began to acquire intelligence, we parted ways with innocence. Life has never been so joyful since then. We gradually added baggage to our identity, identifying ourselves with all those we began to look upon. All those which mattered to our life started sketching an image of ourselves with its inevitable, robbing us of the ineffable pleasure while living in the unmistakable lightness of our being. Is this intelligence so precious to merit a trade off with our innocence? Such ruminations often arise whenever I see kids playing around happily in the SIC campus, while I am strutting anxiously across the stairs for my next lecture with my mind filled with thoughts for the upcoming quiz. My mind, however finds its original voice. The truth emerges amidst the clutter. We were born with silence and as we grew up, we lost the silence and were filled with words. We lived in our hearts and as time passed, we moved into our heads. As management students, we can learn so much from our children. The foremost being the simple art of forgetting things. While we were children, we fought with our friends. Such enmity and bitterness was so fugacious, vanishing in thin air whenever we move on to next thing. Once we had expressed it, we were exhausted. We never used to carry residues of anything and we were able to smile so blissfully the next moment. Why did we forget this beautiful skill?

With technology bringing all kinds of negative influence in children’s lives, it appears that they are losing this beautiful trait. Children take pride in being violent. If they lose their temper, they feel that it’s normal — they take pride in it. One who is very aggressive in the classroom, gets more attention than one who is peaceful, isn’t it? So children grow up feeling, ‘‘If I am aggressive, then I have my say’’.

Isn’t it obvious to see that a child is so happy — walking, moving, jumping around and then that same child goes through college to become so sad, upset and depressed! Is this the purpose of our education? Its highly essential that children’s education addresses all these concerns. Only then, children can remain blissfully child like and maybe, we can learn a lesson or two in management from them too.

जय महाराष्ट्र,
महराष्ट्राचा हा केला गेलेला 'जय' अजून ही जनतेचा राजा शिवाजी महाराज यांच्याच कर्तुत्वाचा आहे. शतके लोटली आणि आम्ही अजून ही त्यांच्याच कर्तुत्वावर समाधानी आहोत आणि एकप्रकारे आमच्या [माझ्या] नाकर्तेपणाचा अभिमान बाळगत आहोत.
मधल्या काळात काही लोकांनी खूप प्रयत्न केले, पुन्हा तसे कर्तुत्व गाजवण्याचे [त्यांच्या प्रयत्नांना सलाम], पण पुन्हा त्यांच्या नावाने महाराष्ट्र ओळखला जावा अस अजून ही काही झालेल नाही. दुसऱ्या कोणत्या राज्याचं अस झाल की नाही हे मला माहित नाही; पण महाराष्ट्राच नक्की व्हाव अशीच इच्छा महाराज बाळगत असतील! हे म्हणजे बापाच्या नावाची पाटी घराच्या दारावरून जाऊन तिथ लेकराच्या नावाची पाटी येते, तेंव्हा या गोष्टीचा बापाला अभिमानच वाटतो. हा अभिमान आम्ही महाराजांना कधी देणार?
आज महाराष्ट्राची identity /ओळख काय आहे? मुंबई, पुणे ज्यात आहे ते राज्य, जिथे बरेच गड आहेत ते राज्य आणि खरी ओळख म्हणजे जिथे शेतकरी खूप आत्महत्या करतात ते राज्य, खूप साऱ्या शिक्षणसंस्था असणारे राज्य आणि आपल्याला नक्की प्रवेश मिळतो तिथे [असा बाहेरच्या राज्याच्या लोकांचा समज आणि दुर्दैवाने खरा!] . बाकी आमची खरी ओळख जी असावी ती कुठे यात दिसतच नाही. आम्ही विधायक सामाजिक क्रांतीचे, प्रबोधनाचे, शिक्षण क्रांतीचे, सर्वसमावेशक आर्थिक प्रगतीचे शिलेदार असायला हवे होतोत. आहोत का आम्ही? [हे माझे प्रश्न आधी मला स्वतःला आणि नंतर इतरांना आहेत].
माझ्या राज्याच मी [सामान्य माणूस] आणि या राजकारण्यांनी काय करून ठेवलय हेच मला काळात नाहीये. सामाजिक समतेच घ्या, अजून ही साऱ्या राज्यात दलित -बहुजन -उच्चवर्णीय असा भेद अजून ही कायम आहे. सगळी कडेच आहे.अस काही नाही असं कुणी जर म्हणत असेल, तर त्यांनी कृपा करून हे सांगावा की का मग दलितांचे मते जास्त भा.रि.प ला जातात, बहुजनाची मते कॉंग्रेस आणि राष्ट्रवादीला जातात, ब्राम्हणांची मते बी.जे.पी ला का जातात? त्यात पुन्हा मुस्लीम मते बी.जे.पी ला जाताच नाहीत. का आमचा अजून ही इतर जातीय किंवा धर्मीय नेत्यावर/व्यक्तीवर पूर्ण विश्वास नाही. का आम्ही अजून ही गुरा-ढोरांसारखे कळपा-कळपा ने राहतो? या जातीची एक संघटना, त्या जातीची एक संघटना; मग त्या प्रत्येकीला एका राजकीय पक्षाचा पाठींबा छुपा किंवा मग बेधडक!
एकंदर आम्ही पूर्ण हरलो नसलो तरी, सामजिक विषमते विरुद्धची लढाई जिंकण्याची लक्षणं अजूनही दिसत नाहीत! आणि सगळ्यात महत्वाच ही लढाई जिंकण्यासाठी काही करायला पाहिजे ही मानसिकताही स्वार्थी राजकारण्यांमध्ये दिसत नाही. जो पर्यंत झुंडशाही ने आणि कळपांना पोसून आम्हाला सत्ता उपभोगता येते आणि स्वार्थ साधता येतो, तो पर्यंत प्रगतीचे 'ब्रॉड पिक्चर' पहायची आमची इच्छाच नाही; नव्हे गरजच नाही, असा आव यांनी [राजकारण्यांनी] आणलाय! बदल घडायलाच हवा!
अंधश्रद्धा आणि जाचक रूढी परंपरांना अजून ही आम्ही पूर्णतः उपटून टकलू शकलो नाहीत. कधी कधी वर्तमानपत्रात त्या कुणाला तरी चेटूक करते/करतो म्हणून जळलेल्या, मारलेल्या बातम्या येतातच! आजही आम्ही आमच्या आय बहिणींना हव ते आदराचा स्थान देत नाहीत. शिक्षणाने ते होतेय, पण वेग कमी आहे. ज्या स्पीड ने यांच्या स्लोगन बनतात त्या स्पीडने प्रगती का होत नाही हेच मला कळत नाही! नवीन विचारांना अजून ही आम्ही हवा तो आदर देत नाहीत, बदलाचं आम्हाला का इतका वावडं आणि ते ही स्वातंत्र्याच्या इतक्या वर्षां नंतर ही? असं वाटत, हे कुणी जाणून-बुजून तर करत नाही ना! या जाचक रूढी बद्दल कायदे व्हायला हवेत आणि त्यांची मुख्य म्हणजे अंमलबजावणी व्हायला हवी!
उच्चशिक्षणाच्या बाबतीत आम्ही खूप काही केल आणि पैशाने उच्च असणाऱ्याना सहज शिक्षण दिले. तस नाहीये तर मग का शेतकऱ्याची आणि सामान्य माणसांची मुलं सहजा सहजी डॉक्टर, इंजिनिअर होऊ शकत नाहीत? शिक्षण क्षेत्रातील काही नियम आणि अटी तर इतक्या जाचक वाटत, जसं काय सामान्य आणि गरीब मुलांनी शिकूच नये या साठीच बनवल्यात! अगदी कर्मवीरांनी शिक्षण क्षेत्रात आम्हाला जितक पुढ नेलं, तितकच मागे आणि त्यापेक्षाही गतीने हे 'स्वयंघोषित शिक्षण सम्राट' गरीब-दलित-सामान्य यांना शिक्षणा पासून दूर घेऊन जात आहेत. मला वाटते शिक्षण हे लोकांकडून पैसा काढण्याचे मध्यम असूच नये, ती सुविधा चालवण्यासाठी पैसा यावा तो कमावणाऱ्या वर्गा कडून कर आणि इतर स्वरुपात, मग हीच शिक्षण घेतलेली लोक पुनः त्याच शिक्षण क्षेत्रातला आर्थिक योगदान देतील. मग त्यांच्या कमाईसाठी शासनाने रोजगाराच्या संधी द्याव्यात, रोजगार देणारे निर्माण करावेत. हे इको-सिस्टीम एकदा बनलं की मग बघा प्रगतीची चक्र जसी स्वतः इंटीलीजंट असल्यासारखी फिरत राहतील. 'पण हे चाक बनवायच कसं' हा विचार करण्याइतपत हुशार प्रतिनिधी आमच्याकडे आहेत का? शंभर वर्षांचा विचार करणारे लोक आमच्याकडे आहेत का ? नाहीत असच दिसतंय. किंवा असतील तर मग त्यांना संधी दिली जात नाही; ती संधी असे लोक शोधून त्यांना द्या, तुमच आणि तुमच्या पुढच्या सगळ्या पिढ्यांच कल्याण होईल.
Inclusive Growth च्या नावाने आम्ही गेली पन्नास वर्ष बोंबा मारत आहोत, कुणी 'शायनिंग भारत' म्हणत तर कुणी 'आमचा हात सामान्य माणसाच्या हातात' [दोन्हींनी गोष्टी घडतात, पण फक्त मतदानाच्या वेळेस]! सर्वांगीण विकासाचा सर्वसमावेशक विकासाचा स्वप्न बापूंनी या देशासाठी पाहिलं. महाराष्ट्रात ही अनेक नेत्यांनी हे स्वप्न पाहिलं, पण पूर्ण कुणी आणि किती केला हे ठरवण्यासाठी ग्रामीण महाराष्ट्र बघायलाच हवा. आम्ही तसं तर अजून देश पातळीवरच अजून 'सेल्फ रेलायबल इकॉनॉमी' बनू शकलो नाहीत, प्रत्येक माणसाच्या पातळीवर तर दूरच! सगळ्यात जास्त दुःख होतेय ते याच कि, ह्या राष्ट्राच्या अस्तित्वाचा पाया जो होता, तिथे घर ना बांधता आपण कुठे तरी दुसरीकडेच घर बांधत आहोत अस दिसतंय. आम्ही आधी पासून कृषी प्रधान देश; मग आम्ही कृषीतच मागे का? किंवा मग त्याच्याची संबंधित व्यवसायामुळे आम्हाला का ओळखले नाही जात? का आम्ही सर्विस प्रोव्हाइडर म्हणून ओळखले जातो? आमच्या कडे खूप बुद्धिमान लोक आहेत हा कांगावा ही आम्हीच करायचा आणि संशोधनाच्या नावाने बोंबा-बोंब! ही परिस्थिती राष्ट्राची आहे आणि तशीच महाराष्ट्राचीही! बदलायलाच हवी. आमच्या साठी फक्त मुंबई किंवा पुणे हा प्रश्न कधीच नव्हता आणि नसायला ही हवा, कारण महाराष्ट्र फक्त या दोन शहरांचा होत नाही. खरा महाराष्ट्र इथच्या खेड्यांनी आणि तिथच्या लोकांनी बनतो. 'मुंबईचा' 'शांघाय' करा अथवा नका करू, पण माझ्या 'महाराष्ट्राचा' पुन्हा 'महा-राष्ट्र' नक्कीच व्हायला हवा! तो झालाच पाहिजे आणि करावाच लागेल! असं करणारीच लोकं सत्तेत आणि शासनात हवीत.
बदल घडायला हवा आणि तो घडवण्याची वेळ आणि संधी आली आहे, दूर दृष्टी ठेवणारे मग अपक्ष का असेनात, कुणा पक्षाचे का असेनात निवडून आलेच पाहिजेत! त्यांना पडाल तर, फक्त सत्तेसाठी आणि ती ही स्वार्थासाठी असं राजकारण करणाऱ्यांच्या हातात राज्य देऊन फक्त स्वतःचच नाही तर पुढच्या पिढ्यांचं आणि शिवबाच्या महाराष्ट्राच वाटोळ कराल!

जय महाराष्ट्र! जय शिवाजी! जय जिजाऊ !
