Phone cases are fun; they let you display a little bit of your personality that you might normally keep hidden. You can show off your love for a fandom you are a part of, you can hint at hobbies like music, cooking or video games. You can also have a case that reminds you of a cherished memory.

They can really speak about you in more ways than one. My own selection of cases that I made for myself are a SNES cart, Han Solo, a watercolor palette and a vintage tape recorder like i had as a little kid.

I especially love the cases that feature retro gadgets and games. Simon, Merlin and Missle Command, old Casio keyboards, pachinko machines and old game cartridges to name a few.

I also like to make retro cereal boxes and not just Trix, Cap’n Crunch or Lucky Charms…I mean the old, obscure 80’s cereal. How many of you remember the Nintendo Cereal System, Smurfberry Crunch or Mr. T cereal? How about Strawberry Shortcake or Rainbow Brite?
