Guide to Use Any Sim Card in BSNL/MTNL Teracom 3G USB Data Cards

Requirements:
Data Card (BSNL/MTNL Teracom LW 272 or LW 273)
BSNL/MTNL SIM Card
Other Operator's SIM Card

How To?
Connect the Data Card with BSNL/MTNL SIM Card inserted to the system & install the software.
Let the System install the drivers for the Hardware.
After completition Restart the PC.

After Restart Close the application which modem installed if it is running, Go to the installed directory of the application which
usually looks like this "C:\Program Files\BSNL 3G Data Card\BSNL 3G\BSNL 3G.exe " and change it's file type from executable
to something like 'BSNL 3G.Backup'. (Note: It may be different in case of MTNL data card).

Go to Control Panel > Select Phone & Modems > Select the Required Modem (e.g. HSPA DataCard.) > Go to Properties of
that Modem > Select Advance TAB & insert Extra Initialization Command (AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP", "APN"). Press OK. (Replace
the "APN" with your new Sim Card Mobile Operator's APN). You can find more information on this below.

Now Select Network Connections in Control Panel.
Click on "Create new Network".
A wizard will start up. Click next.
Select "Connect to Internet". Click next.
Select "Set up my connection manually". Click next.
Select "Connect using a Dial-up Modem". Click next.
Select Your Modem. Click next.
ISP Name: (Any name could be written). Click next.
Phone Number: *99#. Click next.
Replace the "*99#" with your Mobile Operator Phone Number. You can find this information below.
Leave User Name, Password, and Confirm Password fields blank. Click next.
Click on "Add a shortcut to Desktop". Click on Finish.

Disconnect the data card and replace the BSNL/MTNL SIM Card with the mobile operator's SIM Card of which you entered
the APN before.
Connect the data card again and wait for the green light to glow.
Now you can connect to the internet by double clicking the shortcut of the new dial-up connection we made.

How to unlock idea Netsetter or 3G Data card

For 3G idea net setter unlocking , u have to flash the firmware of 3G netsetter. To Download Unlocking Firmware for Idea netsetter device follow below download link.

After download of above firmware simply connect your netsetter device to your USB Port of computer.You will be prompted to enter idea net setter unlock code.
Install and Run the above firmware software to initiate unlocking of idea netsetter. you will get
Note: Make sure not to disconnect device untill whole flashing process get finished. else it may happen that your device software get currupted.

So,that’s it. your idea netsetter #G device is now unlocked.simple,isn’t it?

Tutorial to Change Font of Nokia symbian series(S40)

Change font with PPMODD

On-stream following files will be necessary for you:

- PPModd. There are two parts of it. First part and second part. After downloading you

should unpack archives and move all files and folders from the second part to the first

part.

- WinHex. You can find it in internet.

I’ll show you main steps and I won’t explain you what buttons you should click. I think you’re

not beginner in using computer. :-)

Main steps:

1. Open PPModd. Open in the program PPM of your phone firmware. Open “PPM in that VFNT”. And the steps from 2 to 8 you must make for all subsections of “VFNT”, but don’t make anything with first and last subsections (for example in PPM of Nokia 6233 you mustn’t make changes in subsections “DIGI” and “OPTI”)

2. Press copy on the subsection

3. Open Notepad and press Ctrl+V (paste)

4. Open font you want to change in WinHex. Mark all (Ctrl+A) and copy in Hex Values.

5. Return to the Notepad and mark parameter “DUMP” without first 16 numbers

And press Ctrl+V (paste)

6. Now mark all in notepad (with changes) and press Ctrl+C (copy). Return to PPModd and

delete subsection which you changed in previous steps

7. Click right button of mouse on “VFNT” and choose “Paste”

8. Your new font will appear as last subsection. Now you must rise it on the place where it

has been before (look at the pictures)

9. When you’ll make all steps for subsections, press “Create PPM” and save it somewhere.

Now you can flash your phone with changed PPM :-)

How can I add more languages to Nokia Mobile Phone Software

We open ppm containing the language necessary to us, for this purpose we press Open

We develop a tree ppm, for example the Italian language is necessary to us, we press on it the right button Export to xml

The same it is made in item AORD and LDB

We save result, now Open ppm which will go to phone to insert fonts in it . In opened ppm delete unnecessary languages from TEXT

AORD and LDB.

Now we select TEXT and right click on it and press Import from Xml and insert the saved language

Then we repeat same for operation with AORD and LDB

Now see the following picture, our language is under the item end, that is very bad. Press the right button on inserted language and we choose UP. This is all , As usually we repeat AORD and LDB

After all three items are on places, we press Create PPM (after pressing it do not touch computer better, for 30-40 seconds) then it will ask to choose a place to save. Now ppm is ready to flash.

Now IT IS TIME TO FLASH

Click On “Flash”. Then a window appear as like this(WARNING!!!)

Click “Yes”

Wait for 3-5 minute

When phone restart you can take

Put Tick In “RUN INI”

Click On “Flash”

PUT YOUR one HAND IN POWER BUTTON OF YOUR PHONE and other in MOUSE. Click”YES”.Just after click “YES”(Within 1 Sec)PRESS POWER BUTTON OF YOUR PHONE up to more or less 5 Sec

Now languages can be added to ur phone!! this works on the k750/w700/w800/w810 im nt sure bout the rest
anyways here it is: 1. Connect ur phone to XS++ 3.1(FSX) or FAR Manager
2. Browse to tpa/preset/system/language
3. Copy the lng.dat & lng.lst file to your computer then delete the lng.dat & lng.lst.
4. Add your language file and t9 file e.g tl.lng & and the .t9 file
5. Copy and edit allowed_language.txt to ur computer which contain something like this: en, ar, fa, fr, ru, insert the code of ur language that has been added, e.g. en, ar, fa, fr, ru, tl when u are finish with this, save the .txt file then copy it to the language file again.
6. Browse to tpa/preset/custom Copy and edit ur customize.xml to this: CDA102430/6 R2A W800i Generic EMEA_6 en ar fa fr ru ur language code e.g.tl

Change your language code e.g.tl to ur language code then hit save and copy it to tpa/preset/custom

Second way (for other phones) not too sure about this
1. Flash the File System(FS) (don't put the custpack yet)
2. Use XS++3.1(FSX) or FAR Manager to add your selected language's (tpa\preset\system\language)
3. If you have your selected custpack, you edit it.(allowed language.txt and cuztomize.xml)
