My wife gave me either a cold or the flu and it knocked me out for a week, and then it took another week and a half before my voice got back to something approximating normal. :) I am going to try to get a show together in the next couple of days, and I really appreciate your patience and the emails I got asking about my "disappearance."

Stump the Geeks Show #2 - Muppet Show

Another special show created for the Comic Geek Speak podcast. The Speakers of Geek were nice enough to ask me to contribute special episodes to their show. These are going to be harder questions, since they are intended for true television geeks, and they will tend toward Saturday morning shows. Anyway, good luck and watch out for Grumpy!

Show #7 - Night Court

This week, we are heading to court, Night Court, that is. I think I agree with her, so instead each day's podcast will revolve around one show, or maybe one theme, but it won't always be the same theme on a given day. Except when I do Saturday shows. Those will always be about cartoons.

Cartoons were such a large part of my youth. For that matter, cartoons are still a large part of my life. My favorite cartoon in production is Justice League Unlimited. I also enjoyed Futurama when it was on. It was a much better show than Simpsons, but it just didn't get the following that Simpsons got, and they couldn't settle on a timeslot.

From my youth, there are too many to name, but I always enjoyed Superfriends, Thundarr the Barbarian, Fat Albert, and Scooby-Doo (before they got Scrappy).

Anyway, I'm still working on getting all the technical details out of the way for the first show. I've got to get a good microphone since my microphone jack is apparently broken. I'm also working to find theme music. I may just use clips of tv theme songs, but I don't know yet.

Check in again later this week!

Welcome to the TV Trivia Podcast site!

Over the next couple of days I will be finalizing the format for the show, and posting a schedule for the topics. For example, if I do a Saturday show, the questions will be about Saturday morning cartoons. So far, my topics are Comedies, Drama, Westerns, and some sort of catch-all category. I've thought about Oldies as a topic, but I might just fold it into the catch-all.

Anyway, check back next weekend for more information and thanks for visiting!

-David
