The Big Bang Theory

2013-05-24T12:01:00.000-07:00

Back guys!

"A woman who moves into an apartment across the hall from two brilliant but socially awkward physicists shows them how little they know about life outside of the laboratory."

Basically this show is about 2 (Sheldon and Leonard) geeks that live together in an apartment and a pretty hot blond girl (Penny) moves to the next door. Leonard instantly falls in love with her. Those 2 geeks have more 2 friends (Raj and Howard). There is not a real story in this tv show, is all about geek jokes and fun. In the middle of the story, Penny and Leonard start dating, Howard gets married with Bernadette and Sheldon is dating Amy. This show has 6 seasons so far and I promiss you that you will laugh in every episode of TBBT.
This is a short review because I don't want to spoil you all the fun of this show.

Arrow

2012-12-20T10:17:00.000-08:00

First of all I would like to tell you that I am glad I came back to my blog. I've been busy with University stuff, but now I took some time to write a review about this "new" tv show.

"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island." - imdb

This show is a pretty new show, first episode came out in Octorber 10 2012 , and it's about a Oliver Queen, son of a billionaire who was with his father, his girlfriend sister and some friends at his boat in the middle of the ocean when they got an accident. There only were 3 survivers, Oliver, his father and some friend of his father. His father killed his friend and after that killed himself so Oliver could survive (they were low on supplies on that life saver boat). After some time he went to an island where he found some asian guy who helped him and taught him how to survive there. The details are a bit blurry as we will find out as Oliver memories during the show.
Oliver get rescued after 5 years and comes back to where he and his family live, Starling City. His father has a scratch book with some names there. Those names belong to the people who poisoned his city and he will clear the poison out of it. He becomes some kind of Batman and Robin Wood, as he uses a costum and bow and arrow and acts as a masked hero of Starling City.

As my personal opinion I really think that's worth to watch this show. I am really enjoying it

Zyra Spotlight and Twitch and Evelynn rework

2012-07-24T06:46:00.002-07:00

To be honest I think Zyra it's a pretty useless champion, since in the spotlights all champions look pretty good and over powered and Zyra just dies. After 6, when she spams her skills she does pretty good damage, but still look like a weak champion that will never be played.

Twitch rework seems to make him more viable, but they didn't really made big changes.

Evelynn stealth rework like the worst thing ever done, because you are stealth but enemy champions and wards can still see you. That doesn't make any sense. Why would you want to be in stealth if people can still see you? But her 4 habilities got buffed and she does mega damage now.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

2012-07-09T07:29:00.003-07:00

"Watch the story of history's greatest gladiator unfold with graphic violence and explicit sex. This is Spartacus." - imdb

This epic tv show starts with this main character (Spartacus who isn't his real name, was given by the Romans in the arena), who is from Tracia going to the war to help the Romans agains their commun enemy, but one Roman general (Glaber) betrais him and after they fought he finds him and makes him and his slaves.

After that he get condemned to death, but the Romans think that's a better idea for their intertainment if they put 4 trained gladiators fighting against him. Turns that he was a great fighter and kill the 4 of them.

Batiatus, one of the lanistas of Capua, asks if he can purchase him, and he does. He starts training him in his ludus.

Spartacus if very indisciplinated at first, he even got sent to the "pit", there is where man without honnor fight, where there is no rules, where people make money doing bet on who will win. After he shows that he is worthy to fight in the arena, he and Batiatus make a pact, the money Spartacus makes in the arena will be used by Batiatus to find his wife.
Spartacus keeps winning in the arena and turns champion of Capua, after he and Crixus (the former champion of Capua) defeat in the arena the mighty Theokoles, a legendary and unbeated in the arena, where the only one who survived vs him was the Doctore (Oenomaus) and suffered injuries that almost killed him so he could not fight again on the arena. Crixus is almost killed in the fight vs Theokoles, but has a "quick" recovery and starts fighting again.

The wife of Spartacus is found by Batiatus, but he orders one of his man to kill her, so Spartacus can get focused only in the arena and can bring money and glory to the House of Batiatus.

When Spartacus finds that Batiatus killed his wife he talks to all the gladiators and they kill all the Romans in the house, including Batiatus and his wife.

Darius Patch Preview

2012-05-20T12:33:00.002-07:00

Well, I like this patch alot, and I'll explain why:

- Improved the graphics of the environment of the game, and by the preview it looks damn good. It will also help the people who has weak computers because it has better fps.
- Also reworked the HUD display for the frame rate. They got new icons, the text will be more readable and they also added the minion kills on the right top corner next to your score.
- Reworked Ashe model and that looks pretty good to me.
- Added a new feature to the turrets, not really a much needed thing.
- Also removed the free champion rotation on the Ranked games because alot of people do try new champions there and that game mode is all about win and get more rating.
- Chalice of Harmony is going to have an upgrade for a new item called Athene's Unholy Grail that, in my opinion will make it more viable, because it was pretty useless for late game.

Spectator mode and Varus patch preview

2012-04-28T10:14:00.000-07:00

First of all I want to apologize everyone for my inactivity. I've been having exams and I could not make posts.

Spectator mode

Probably the best feature that came out for a long time of League of Legends. Why? Because you can spectate your friends games, custom games or the featured games, that are the games from the pros from LoL. But yes, that has a 3minute delay so you can't cheat the games by telling your friend where the opponent team jungler is or if he's gonna get ganked by mid etc.
It has some cool stuff like the directed camera.
If you want to know more about it you should watch the video up there.

Magic resist per lvl for the support champions. I really like this one, because usually only armor is added in lvls, but now supports can be more competitive with mres, since they tank the damage of the ad carry and all the camps that get this buff, Alistar, Amumu, Leona, Nunu and Taric, all tanky support champs who need to get close to do they cc.
Master Yi got his ultimate buffed, kinda balanced I guess.
Ryze had only one item build that he could do to be viable, and it was ok I guess. They nerfed his q and w, his main source of damage. Now ulti doesnt have bonus mana, but gives you bonus movement speed, what is great for a champ like Ryze. Looks like he will be more vieable doing ability power instead of a tanky build.
Ability power iteams will be changed, Deathfire Grasp will have now Blasting Wand and will give more damage, Morello's Evil Tome will have Kage's Lucky Pick and and Will of the Ancients will have Blasting Wand too.

Many more posts to come!

IPL4 Recap

2012-04-14T14:22:00.002-07:00

Seven American teams – Team SoloMid, Counter Logic Gaming, Curse Gaming, v8 eSports, Monomaniac eSports, Epik, and Dignitas, met at the double-elimination tournament lasted over three days, with a $50,000 prize pool at stake!
From the beginning, the tournament defied expectations: marked by surprise upsets and innovative game play. Among the biggest shockers was Monomaniac eSports, a comparative unknown who defeated established powerhouses like Curse and aAa, and came close to knocking Dignitas into the lower bracket. They finished in fourth place and look to make more noise in tournaments to come. Conversely, Against All Authority – a team expected to contend for the championship – failed to win a single game and exited the tournament early.
Dignitas, for its part, introduced an innovative new team composition that scored them some big wins. Lulu (Voyboy) and Soraka (Scarra) occupied solo lane positions, leaving the remaining three champions to provide a nearly unstoppable combo. The tactic took them to the Lower Bracket Finals and a third-place finish overall.
The championship, however, belonged to team SoloMid. After marching undefeated for the first two days, they found themselves facing down CLG in the final round. CLG took a torturous route to the finals through the lower bracket – including a win over Dignitas, who beat them earlier in the tournament – and wasn’t expected to last long against the SoloMid powerhouse. To everyone’s surprise, they took the first match two games to none, handing TSM their first loss and prompting a second round of matches in the finals. Their hopes for an upset were crushed, however, as SoloMid responded to the challenge with a demonstrable 2-0 victory. They claimed the grand prize of $25,000 and topped a truly epic weekend of gaming.

In this season the 8 that I mentioned in the season one escape split and go to their separated way. Brad Bellick, that worked at Fox River gets fired and goes after the 8 fugitives because of the reward money. FBI goes after them too assigning Alexander Mahone, who works for The Company, to the case.

Season tree:
This season is done in Panama.
Michael is inside of the prison with T-Bag, Mahone and Bellick as I said in the season two, and Lincoln is outside.
A Company agent, Gretchen Morgan, contacts Lincoln and tells him that they kidnapped his son, LJ, and Michaels love, Sara. The main goal of The Company doing this is to get James Whistler out of Sona.
Sona is the most dangerous prison of the world, where there are no guards inside, and it's rulled by Lechero.
Gretchen fakes Sara death.
At the end of the season, Michael, James Whistler, Mahone and Luis escape from Sona. Whistler is traded with LJ and Sofia with The Company.

Chicken foot - used make the fights between prisioners in Sona

Fight Club (1999)

2012-04-07T14:55:00.000-07:00

This movie is about a man who works at traveling automobile company who suffers from insomnia. He goes to a doctor about his problem, but he refuses to give him the medication to help him sleep and advises him to start visiting cancer support groups.
He starts by coming to a testicular cancer group and pretended that he had cancer too and the emotinal relief of that group like crying helps him with his insomnia problem. Soon enough he becomes addicted to the support groups and starts going to alot of support groups everyday. Once he spotted another fake person, Marla, in those support groups he realises that he can't cry anymore on the group and because of that he can't sleep anymore.
In a flight of a business trip, the man knows a guy name Tyler Durden, who is a soap salesman. When he was coming back he noticed that his apartment was destroyed by a fire. He calls his new friend Tyler and they meet at a bar. Here's when the real story starts, maybe one of the my favourite parts in this movie. They talk about consumerism and drink. After than Tyler invites the man to stay at his place. When they are leaving the bar they start fighting. After that they would do the same fights at the outside of the bar and that attract men. Some time after that they'll creat a Fight Club in that same bar basement.
Some day Marla calls the man and asks for help because she is overdosing, but the man ignores her. Tyler will be the one that will save her and become her sex partner, if I can say that.
Tyler starts travelling and creating more Fight Clubs around the country. With that he will create "Project Mayhem" that has the goal to "clean" the world of the new society.
At the end of the movie he discovers that him and Tyler are the same person and he suffers from dissociated personalities, they fight in a building where he tried to take the bombs that the "Project Mayhem" installed in some of the biggest buildings in the city.
The ending of this movie is one of the best and epic I've ever seen, Marla and him are holding hands from the top of a building and watching the city the top building of the city to get destroyed.

This time I chose to put the ending of the movie instead of the trailer because I think this is so epic that I can't even describe.

Hecarim Patch Preview

2012-04-07T08:11:00.000-07:00

The Hecarim Patch Preview came out and I decided to make a little review on what I think about it.

Kayle - I don't really care about her, she's pretty much useless, but with this heal buff on her she might become a good support.

Teemo - Without any doubt he's the cutest champion on the League. I like the bug fixes in all the champs, so I'm happy with the fix of Teemos poison. His ultimate and his move quick will be changed too, but the video doesn't cover it.

Runes - Nerfing magic resist runes doesn't seem good to me, I know that it has been a little overpowered for mid champs, but other champs use them too and I don't think that it is fair. Buffing ability power runes, can't really tell if it is good or bad, but I think that buffing this runes would be a better choice than nerfing the magic resist runes and buffing the ability power, I think this patch will get some major game changes. Morello says that they did this to "open more options and more variety", lets see.

Snowball out of control - I really like this on the new patch, because as a LoL player I always rage over this. Making this change it will make the games fair and more enjoyable to play it plus supports always get no love so it will make more people playing support.

Leaguecraft posted this video about the new champion Hecarim skillset and I'll make a quick review about it.

Design - I like it, because it is always fun to have more mithical creatures in the League like a centaur :D

Role - I bet he will be a jungler or a solo top champion

Skills - By his skill set I can tell that he will be a tank or atleast a tanky dps

- Q - aoe physical dmg - looks good to me

- W - aoe magic dmg - looks good to me

- E - speed buff + knocking the opponent back, pretty close to the Volibear skill, but better because it s physical dmg will be based on how far Hecarim has travelled with this skill

- R - his ultimate seems quite cool, aoe magic dmg, summons some riders that will devastate everything that comes to their way

Ok this was my review about the changes that will be made in League of Legends in the next patch and the Hecarim skillset and design.

Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle

2012-04-07T06:01:00.001-07:00

I'm making this post because this movie made me laugh alot.
This movie is about 2 stoners, Harold Lee, an korean guy, and Kumar Patel, an indian guy that live together and been best friends since forever.

Harold works at an office while Kumar is/was studying to be a doctor like his father wanted.
One day Harold comes back from the office, finds her neighbor Maria that he loves and starts smoking some weed with Kumar to relax, when they see a commercial about the burger station White Castle, and since they were really high, they were really hungry, and fast food is really awesome to stoners, so they started their journey to go to the fast food restaurant and eat alot of burgers. But they didn't know that an adventure was waiting them. When they arrive the nearest White Castle they know that it has been replaced by other restaurant and they get informed that the nearest one is in Cherry Hill.
At the middle of the road they find Neil Patrick Harris high on ecstasy steals their car, Harold gets arrested and Kumar comes to help him to escape the prison.
After that they finally arrive to White Castle but they realise they got no money, so magically Neil Patrick Harris comes and apologizes and pays their meal.
After all of this Kumar realises he wants to be a doctor and Harold finds 2 of his coworkers with 2 prostitutes, and became mad because they said that they were working in that night, but they were partying and threatens to get them fired and humiliated if they do it again.
In the end of the movie, Harold finds Maria on the elevator, kisses her but she says that she is going to Amsterdan.

Game Of Thrones

2012-04-06T18:21:00.000-07:00

After watching season 1 of the show I think I can make a pretty accurated review of it.
As far as I know this tv show is inspired in the book "A Game of Thrones" by George R. R. Martin.
I'll start by showing you the 7 families that are fighting agains each other for the controll of the land of Westeros.

House of Starks:
"Winter Is Coming"
-Eddard "Ned" Stark, Guardian of the North, Lord of Winterfell and Hand of the King, gets decapitaded by Joffrey when he "becomes" King due to his finding about Joffrey being son of the Lannisters twins.

-Lyanna Stark, sister or Ned Stark and the love of the King Robert.
-Catelyn Stark, from House of Tully, Eddard Starks wife and sister of Lysa Arryn
-Sansa Stark, Eddard and Catelyn Starks older daughter, got promissed to marry Joffrey Baratheon, the Kings son.
-Arya Stark, Eddard and Catelyn Starks younger daughter, has an strong will and it's like a boy trapped inside a girls body. Is very skilled with the sword and has to run from the Kings Landing because of the Lannisters.
-Bran Stark, son of Eddard e Catelyn Stark, gets handicap when he's climbing a tower, where the Lannister twins are having sex, by Jaime Lannister.
-Jon Snow, the bastard of Eddard Stark, really don't know who is mother is, but can tell that she was from the Kings Landing, because Ned was there doing service for the King and came back with a son to Winterfell. He will join the Night Watch on the Wall.
-Robb Stark, Eddard and Catelyn Starks older son, he's undefeated in battles and became Lord of Winterfell when he dad got killed.

House of Lannisters:
"A Lannister always pays his debts"
-Tywin Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock, Shield of Lannisport and Warden of the West, father of Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion.
-Kevan Lannister, Tywins brother and most trusted captain, known for his loyalty.
-Cersei Baratheon, Queen and wife of Robert Baratheon. twin sister of Jaime Lannister, sister of Tyrion Lannister and daughter of Tywin Lannister. It's an cold hearted woman that is in love with his twin brother and can do everything to protect their relationship.
-Jaime Lannister, the King slayer, twin of Cersei and brother of the dwarf, he's a selfish man who only cares about his relationship with the Queen. He is a good knight who never looses his fights.
-Tyrion Lannister, the Imp, brother of the twins, he's a drunk man with a huge brain and by what I've seen a huge sense of justice. He's an pervert. He got no respect from his father due to his deformity and his hability to talk.
-Lancel Lannister, served as squire to King Robert at King's Landing.

House of Baratheon:
"Ours is the Fury"
-Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, married to Cersei Lannister and father of Joffrey ,Myrcella and Tommen Baratheon, once he was young he was a brave knight, but now he's just a bearded fat drunk man.
-Joffrey Baratheon, the older son of the King that will become King after Roberts death. He's son of the Queen Cersei and her twin brother Jamie. He is a kid with a strong will, but too young to manage a kingdom, since he's just a stupid kid on my opinion.
-Myrcella Baratheon, the second oldest daughter of the Royal Family.
-Tommen Baratheon, the youngest brother of the Royal Family.
-Renley Baratheon, Roberts brother and Lord of Storm's End, and Master of Laws.

House of Targaryen:
"Fire and Blood"
-Viserys Targaryen, older brother of Daenerys Targaryen, claims to be the legit King of Westeros, arranges a marriage between her sister and Khal Drogo so he can have his army and fight to claim the throne of the 7 Kingdoms. He has no respect for his sister. Gets killed by Drogos men by her sister comand with melted gold, a bit ironic because he was always saying that he wanted his golden crown.
-Daenerys Targaryen, younger sister of VIserys Targaryen, married to Khal Drogo, she is the khaleesi of the Dothraki. She's young, beautiful and has a strong sense of justice. Loves his husband and leads the Dothraki after his death. Has dragons on her possession that will make a difference in the fight for the 7 Kingdoms.

House of Greyjord:
"We Do Not Sow."
-Theon Greyjord, son of Balon Greyjord, he was taken hostage and raised as a ward by Eddard Stark at Winterfell for ten years. He is caught between the Stark and Greyjoy worlds, belonging to neither in full.

Those are the 5 important families of Game of Thrones, I know I said that it would be 7, because I saw that in my research, but only this 5 are on the tv show.

Counter Logic Gaming North America

2012-04-06T10:15:00.002-07:00

Honestly I chose to present CLG because they have been one of the most dominant teams since the begging of LoL and their leader (HotshotGG) is probably the most known League of Legends player, and he's a very funny guy like you can see if you search for his videos.

CLG.HotshotGG George Georgallidis
"I like Kimchi"
21 years old, from United StatesGeorge “HotshotGG” Georgallidis doesn’t even remember when he didn’t play games. At the age of two, he was already playing the Berenstain Bears game on the computer. Throughout his years growing up, HotshotGG played several games such as Diablo I and Warcraft 2. HotshotGG also picked up DoTA and realized that he truly enjoyed the MoBA genre. When League of Legends was released, HotshotGG quickly started playing it, wanting to try out more from this game style. With progress of time, HotshotGG determined that his best skills are quick adaptation to new situations and his fast problem solving skills. He believes that League of Legends will grow exponentially and Counter Logic Gaming will expand alongside it as the game makes its way to the top of the eSports world.

CLG.Saintvicious Brandon DiMarco
"Jungle like real man"
24 years old, from United StatesAt the age of four, Brandon “Saintvicious” DiMarco was given a Nintendo console for Christmas which was one of the best years he remembered. He constantly played it until he turned ten when his parents bought him his own cable modem. At first, Saintvicious thought it to be a terrible gift, until he found out he was also given StarCraft I. Instantly he realized it was actually the best gift ever. This changed Saintvicious’ life as he expanded the games he played by discovering other games like World of Warcraft and DoTA. When League of Legends was out of its beta period, he started playing it just like any other game. Saintvicious soon realized that he had a knack for understanding the gameplay, which quickly led to him playing at a professional level. Now, Saintvicious plays for Counter Logic Gaming and as long as the team is around, Saintvicious hopes that it will stay at the top of all teams.

CLG.Chauster Steve Chau
"All planned"
23 years old, from United StatesBeing the youngest of his family, Steve “Chauster” Chau always followed his older siblings and mimicked whatever they did, which was predominantly playing games. He first started out with NES games like Contra, Double Dragon, and Tecmo Wrestling and transitioned to SNES and PlayStation. During that time, he began playing Starcraft I exclusively. However, Chauster found it difficult to balance his time for gaming and education, so he decided to take a break. When he found free time, he tried out League of Legends just as something to do to pass time but eventually became hooked. He believes that even though he doesn’t have the best mechanics, reaction time, or skill, he makes up for it with his superior knowledge of gameplay. As League of Legends continues to grow, Chauster believes it would be amazing if it was the game that pioneered eSports into the mainstream for the United States, with Counter Logic Gaming dominating from the top.

CLG.bigfatlp Michael Tang
"Do the real fighting"
21 years old, from United States
Unlike his fellow teammates, Michael “bigfatlp” Tang never touched console games. He started playing computer games at around the age of six. His first game ever was Doom 1 but he quickly moved onto other smaller games and then played Diablo 2. After Ragnarok Online was released, bigfatlp spent years playing the MMO, but later transitioned to WoW and DoTA. Once the beta for League of Legends was released, he and a former friend decided to try it out together. This was when bigfatlp decided to truly dedicate his time to a specific game. Bigfatlp’s greatest skill is understanding what to do in team fights whether it is awareness or positioning. While League is growing bigger and bigger, bigfatlp believes CLG will be successful and that the team will.

CLG.Doublelift Peter Peng
"Dunking is my life"
18 years old, from United States
Peter “Doublelift” Peng first found out about his love for games through the classic Nintendo 64 titles Star Fox and Golden Eye. When his brother finally got a computer, Doublelift frequently used it to play Diablo 1 and Starcraft. Because Doublelift’s brother always bought a new computer every few years, he soon came to own his own hand-me-down desktop. This let him spend more time playing computer games such as DoTA, WoW, and HoN with his brother and friends. Eventually they all left these games behind moved LoL. Through his experience playing League of Legends, Doublelift believes that his strongest skill is mechanics such as last-hitting, timing, and positioning. He joined Counter Logic Gaming in hopes of pursuing his dream to become a professional gamer and feels that CLG is one of the best teams in the competitive scene.

I recently started watching this anime and i got addicted since the first episode, I think you guys should try it out if you like detective things and thriller.

Death Note (デスノート Desu Nōto) is a Japanese manga created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and manga artist Takeshi Obata. The main character is Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook, the "Death Note", dropped on Earth by a shinigami (a god of death) named Ryuk. The Death Note grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose name and face they know, by writing the name in the notebook while picturing their face. The series centers around Light's attempt to create and rule a world "cleansed of evil" as "God" using the notebook, and the efforts of a detective known as L to stop him.

The Death Note anime began airing in Japan on October 3, 2006, and finished its run on June 26, 2007, totaling 37 twenty-minute episodes.

Bored with his deteriorating world and the laconic way of his fellows, shinigami Ryuuk drops his Death Note on Earth and watches to see if it stirs up anything interesting. His plan succeeds beyond his wildest expectations when the Death Note is found by brilliant high school senior Light Yagami, who is also bored with a world he considers rotten. Although initially he regards the book as a prank, Light soon discovers, through experimentation, that the book's claim is true: picture a person in your mind as you write the person's name in the Death Note, and that person dies 40 seconds later of of a heart attack (although a different time frame and manner of death can be specified). Armed with that power, Light sets out on a quest he sees as noble: make the world a better place by eliminating all its criminals using the Death Note. Soon cast as the mysterious "Kira" (a Japanese pronunciation of the English "killer") in the media and on the Internet, some take exception to his playing god, most notably the police and the enigmatic master detective L, who resolves to do everything in his power to stop Kira. Light counters by doing everything in his power to prevent people from identifying or interfering with him, even if that means getting rid of people investigating him.

Naruto

This anime is the most popular anime in all world around, it's very amusing and if you didn't watched it yet you should do it.

Naruto (NARUTO—ナルト—, romanized as NARUTO) is an ongoing Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The plot tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an adolescent ninja who constantly searches for recognition and dreams to become the Hokage, the ninja in his village who is acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all. The series is based on a one-shot comic by Kishimoto that was published in the August 1997 issue of Akamaru Jump.

Naruto closely follows the life of a boy who is feared and detested by the villagers of the hidden leaf village of Konoha. The distrust of the boy has little to do with the boy himself, but it's what's inside him that causes anxiety. Long before Naruto came to be, a Kyuubi (demon fox) with great fury and power waged war taking many lives. The battle ensued for a long time until a man known as the Fourth Hokage, Yondaime, the strongest ninja in Konoha, fiercely fought the Kyuubi. The fight was soon won by Yondaime as he sealed the evil demon in a human body. Thus the boy, Naruto, was born. As Naruto grows he decides to become the strongest ninja in Konoha in an effort to show everyone that he is not as they perceive him to be, but is a human being worthy of love and admiration. But the road to becoming Hokage, the title for the strongest ninja in Konoha, is a long and arduous one. It is a path filled with betrayal, pain, and loss; but with hard work, Naruto may achieve Hokage.

Naruto is one of the best selling manga of all time having sold more than 113 million copies in Japan. Serialized in Viz's Shonen Jump magazine, Narutohas become one of the company's best-selling manga series. The English adaptation of the series has also appeared in the USA TODAY Booklist several times and volume 7 won the Quill Award in 2006. Reviewers from the series have praised the balance between fighting and comedy scenes, as well as the characters' personalities, but have criticized it for using standard shõnen plot elements.

Misfits

2012-04-06T05:34:00.000-07:00

This is, atleast for me, one of the best "unknown" tv shows, because I haven't seen it on tv and I think that it deservs more recognition.

Misfits is a British science fiction drama television show about a group of young offenders sentenced to work in a community service programme, where they obtain supernatural powers after a strange electrical storm. Dexter

2012-04-05T15:10:00.001-07:00

Alot of people think that Dexter is stupid on some way because of all the blood and other stuff, but I find if very interesting and addictive, can't wait for the next season!

Dexter is an American television drama series, which debuted on Showtime on October 1, 2006. The sixth season premiered on October 2, 2011. The series centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C, Hall), a blood spatter pattern analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department who moonlights as a serial killer. Set in Miami, the show's first season was largely based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay, the first of his Dexter series novels. Subsequent seasons have evolved independently of Lindsay's works; several are based on short stories by Lindsay's friend, Stephen R. Pastore. It was adapted for television by screenwriter James Manos, Jr., who wrote the first episode.

In February 2008, syndicated reruns (edited down to a TV-14 rating) began to air on CBS. The series has enjoyed wide critical acclaim and popularity. Season 4 aired its season finale on December 13, 2009 to a record-breaking audience of 2.6 million viewers, making it the most-watched original series episode ever on Showtime. Michael C. Hall has received several awards and nominations for his portrayal of Dexter, including a Golden Globe. On November 18, 2011, it was announced that Dexter had been renewed for two more seasons.

Chuck

2012-04-05T14:59:00.001-07:00

This one is my favourite tv show of all time. I love the way the combined the comedy with the spy stuff, and how the friendship between Chuck and Morgan was built in, how Casey was a tough guy and how Sarah was incredibly beautiful. I was really sad when this show ended.

Chuck is an action-comedy/spy-drama television program from the United States created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an "average computer-whiz-next-door" named Chuck, played by Zachary Levi, who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); the message embeds the only remaining copy of the United States' greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain.

Produced by College Hill Pictures, Fake Empire, Wonderland Sound and Vision and Warner Bros. Television, the series premiered on September 24, 2007, on NBC, airing on Monday nights at 8/7c.

As the second season closed, flagging ratings put Chuck in danger of cancellation, but fans mounted a successful campaign to encourage NBC to renew the show. The campaign was unique in that fans specifically targeted a sponsor of the show, the Subway restaurant chain, and the chain struck a major sponsorship deal with NBC to help cover costs of the third season. The series' renewal was uncertain in each subsequent season. The fifth season was the last; it began on October 28, 2011, moving to Friday nights at 8pm/7 Central. The series concluded on January 27, 2012 with a two-hour finale.
