It seems as the bizarre story of six-year-old Falcon Heene from Fort Collins, Colorado was unfolding, taking the whole world for a helium-filled balloon ride, the internet was already flooding with balloon boy jokes and web tributes such as image macros, faux Twitter accounts, T-shirts, mashing up memes, etc. "to commemorate what will now be known as the afternoon of Balloon Boyon the web."  Take a look at some of our favorites:

The whole world watched Thursday as a lighter-than-air craft set loose by a 6-year-old boy floated above eastern Colorado. Falcon Heene, six, sparked a major rescue operation and media frenzy after it was feared he was trapped in his family's escaped helium balloon.  He was later found safe in the garage attic but questions have been raised over whether it was a PR hoax.

The hottest social networking website just got new supercool offices.  The new Facebook HQ was previously a lab for Agilent Technologies, and is 150,000 square feet of space. The new offices' interactive and pure fun design got the treatment from the designers at Studio O+A. Studio O+A is the same company that provided innovative and effective workplace design services for other big companies such as Paypal, Shopping.com and Levis Strauss & Co.

T-Mobile is a popular topic on Twitter right now along with Zombieland.  The reason: T-Mobile Sidekick users haven't had any data service since Thursday evening. People are tweeting their frustration.

Yesterday was a horrible shock for British singer Leona Lewis and left her extremely hurt and upset.   The singer had been signing autographs for around 90 minutes at a book store in London when a guy in the queue came up and punched her to the side of the head. The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Lewis was publicizing her forthcoming autobiography, Dreams, at the event.  According to Lewis' spokesman: "Leona's understandably badly shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings for."  "Leona is obviously shocked after yesterday but is OK," the spokesman added.

An autopsy report was leaked to the Associated Press this week revealing some fascinating findings on Jackson's exterior. Besides a case of arthritis, damaged lungs and a skin disease that reduced pigment in his body, Michael Jackson was actually a healthy 50-year-old man. His heart was strong and his weight was normal.  There were bizarre autopsy details though, and they were found not in his body but on his body:
