Our loss can be your gain. Our family has to move and we are sad to leave our Twilight retail and tour shop behind. We would love for the store to continue on and we hope to find new owners who will love Twilight and St Helens as much as we do.

We are crazy Twilight Fans who are lucky enough to live where Twilight was filmed! St Helens, OR is the hometown of the Swan House and eight additional Twilight film locations. It’s just a short drive from the Cullen House, the High School, Carver Cafe and all the rest.

Our name promises an experience and we intend to deliver. Come to St Helens where you can walk in the footsteps of the stars and crew! Many people don’t know that a large portion of Twilight was filmed in little old St Helens, Oregon– just 30 minutes West of Portland, OR. There were nine sets and a lot of background filmed here. The main street in Old Town, where our shop is located, was transformed to become the streets of Port Angeles. The front of our store actually appears in one our favorite scenes. You’ve read the books and seen the movies. Come, Experience Twilight!

Experience Twilight has a Twilight Fan Store that provides an experience all it’s own. We’re glad to help with directions, visitor info or even your special event. We like to take fans pictures for our fan wall. We’ll chat with you endlessly about Twilight, if you’re in the mood. We have guided walking tours. Best of all, our store is filled with Twilight items from Forks, La Push and around the world. We have t-shirts, decals, jewelry, sparkling vampire venom, rain from Forks, sand from La Push, home decor, suckers, official merchandise, authentic replicas from the movie, exclusive autographed items and more!

Our main day to day operations is the retail store and walking tours.

I’m a Twilight fan.  I mean I really, really like the whole thing.  That doesn’t mean that if you make something and slap Twilight on it that I’ll buy it but I think (for the most part) what has been done with the movies in relation to the books has been pretty good.  Some movies better than others but that’s to be expected.  I can’t be the only one who feels pings of nausea when I hear there are talks of a sixth Twilight film.  It’s just a bad idea.

What’s wrong with quitting while you’re ahead? Going out on top? Trying to suck the life out of something that’s really good and means so much to so many is a really, really bad idea.  There are always be Twilight fans who will buy a kumquat if you put Edward’s face on it but there are also some of us who like the quality of the films and the though of it being taken over the top with what would basically be a spin off, just unnerves us.  We’re the same ones who that while we find it fun, think that Team Edward and Team Jacob was the worst thing that ever happened to Twilight.

“Last week, Lionsgate co-chair Rob Friedman revealed that if Meyer wants to write another Twilight installment, the studio—which recently bought Summit—will “be there to support her.” Uh, duh?! That would only translate to more mega-bucks galore for the studio!! But it doesn’t seem like Meyer is on board as Lionsgate or the fans may wish she was. At least not when it comes to vampire romances.”

Has anyone ever seen the 6th Rocky film (Rocky Balboa), Police Academy VI, Friday the 13th Part VI, Saw VI, Seed of Chucky?  The only thing these films have in common is that they all suck.  Please let this sleeping dog alone.  I beg of you.  It’s not like any of the main actors would come back for this so they’d use horrible “seem a likes” and it would be a nightmare.    Just let it go.

There’s also always talk of Midnight Sun.  Sure I’d like to read the rest of it but as far as making it into a movie, it’s already been done.  It’s called Twilight.

Yay Jackson!!  Babies are awesome!  I should know, I have two of my own so I always get excited when new babies are a comin’!

Twilight star Jackson Rathbone has been a very busy man over the last few years, juggling his rising career as an actor, as well as working to establish himself as a musician with his band 100 Monkeys. It turns out that the 27-year-old is going to be even busier in the coming months when he and burlesque dancer girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi welcome a child into the world.

That’s right, Jackson Rathbone is going to be a dad. According to Us Weekly, the couple will become first-time parents later this year. Rathbone’s rep told the magazine that he and Hafsadi are “thrilled and excited to be expecting their first child.”

Rathbone and Hafsadi, 24, who is said to be five months pregnant, reportedly met at one of his band’s performances and have already been busy preparing for the baby. A source told the magazine that the actor/musician recently traded in not one, but two of his vehicles for a hybrid SUV in order to have more room for a growing family.

In addition to the anticipation and excitement that surrounds the arrival of a new baby, Rathbone will have a jam-packed 2012 with the release of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ in November, along with the potential release of several diverse film projects: “Cowgirls ‘N Angels,” “Zombie Hamlet,” the dramedy musical “DaZe: Vol. Too – NonSeNse” and “Live At The Foxes Den.”

Speaking of what fans still have to look forward to from his character Jasper Cullen in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” Rathbone told MTV News there is a particularly poignant moment in the final film that he can’t wait to see on the big screen.

“There’s a very fulfilling moment for myself as an actor and as a fan of the books and of the film series that you get to see, in the end, really how much these characters love one another and how much they function as a family,” Rathbone said of the franchise’s final film. “Even though they are kind of an odd family of vampires. Vegetarian vampires, at that. They’re an odd bunch.”

With that dress, Marion Testino and a Parisian park, I can already see these photos in my head and they’re amazing!  One thing is for sure, they’ll be better than those Amish hat, alligator photos that Annie Leibowitz took of Rob last year.

Today in London Madame Tussaud unveiled a new wax figure…Taylor Lautner!!  The best thing about this likeness is that it actually looks like him!  The person who worked on this one clearly had a photo to go by as opposed to the one of Robert Pattinson which is placed right next to it. 

Tell me you don’t look at the two of these together and giggle at poor Rob.

Final touches…..

The eyes may be the best part of Taylor‘s wax figure and I would think that’s the toughest part to get right.  The area around the eyes is part of what is so off on Rob’s. 

Hopefully this will make all of the Madame Tussauds so we can see it in the states again.  Also, I wonder if one of Kristen is up next.  It certainly should be!

Summit Entertainment has just announced that Breaking Dawn Part I, the fourth installment in the Twilight Saga, has grossed over $700 million globally since the film was released on November 18, 2011!

Breaking Dawn Part 1  is also on its way to becoming the highest grossing film in the entire series,  just a few million dollars behind New Moon, which took in $709.8 million.

Eclipse and Twilight grossed approximatly $698.5 and $390.4 million.

There are some places like Japan and China where Breaking Dawn hasn’t even been released yet!  That’s good news as far as pushing this movie past New Moon!

From The Hollywood Reporter:

Conversely, Breaking Dawn is already the franchise’s top earner overseas, where its running cume is $421 million. The previous best was the $413.2 million earned by New Moon.

Newly annointed Lionsgate motion picture group co-chairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger–who run Summit–said the milestone is important on several fronts, and illustrates the “vitality of the franchise on a global sclae even after four films.”

“[Author] Stephenie Meyer’s story and characters were brought to the screen this time via the talented hands of Bill Condon along with the cast and crew that has been with the film franchise since its inception,” the duo said.

The final film in the series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2, opens Nov. 16, 2012.

Balenciaga has signed actress Kristen Stewart as the face of the newest Balenciaga fragrance for women!  I’ll be honest, I have no idea what this scent is like (I guess we’ll find out in the Fall) but I  know the clothes and I think she’s probably perfect for this.  Also, I’m a HUGE Bruce Weber fan so I would love to see him shoot this!

Balenciaga will soon have its own place in the Twilight. The brand has signed actress Kristen Stewart as the face of the newest Balenciaga fragrance for women.

Stewart, best known for her role as Bella Swan in the blockbuster movie saga, will represent a to-be-announced scent which is expected to be launched this fall.

“Balenciaga has always stood out to me,” Stewart told WWD on Thursday. “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquière called Stewart the muse for the new scent. “Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence,” said Ghesquière. “From her early appearance in ‘Panic Room’ to her independent choice of ‘Welcome to the Rileys,’ I’ve always sensed her progressive character. In 2006, I invited her to appear in a project shot by Bruce Weber. Since then, I’ve always wished to collaborate with her further, knowing that she shares the radical spirit of Balenciaga.”

Added Isabelle Guichot, chief executive officer of Balenciaga: “Kristen is the perfect choice as she embodies Nicolas Ghesquière’s unique vision for the second chapter in our fragrance history.”

Charlotte Gainsbourg remains the face of Balenciaga Paris, the first scent from the house, which was launched in 2010.

“Kristen stood out as an evident choice for this new fragrance,” added Catherine Walsh, senior vice president of American fragrances for Coty Prestige, a division of Coty Inc. “She has a unique sense of style, quite original and chic in the way she mixes fashion elements. Her elegant modernity and innate rebel style perfectly match with the spirit of Balenciaga.”

Stewart noted that after a busy 2011, she’s taking a bit of time to relax. “My horizon is clear as of now (except for this!) in terms of new projects, which feels incredible,” she said. “I have finished three films I can’t wait to see come to fruition this year, ‘On The Road,’ ‘Snow White and the Huntsman,’ and ‘Breaking Dawn 2.’”
