Got this chunky necklace a couple years ago from the very successful collaboration of jimmy choo x h&m and had absolutely forgot about its existence until now. Loving its ability to give "that extra edge" to any simple look. As for the rest of the outfit: favorite faux fur, customized old denim, and clutch with skull details from RetroDose.

On my way to Lanvin last Friday night. Picked up this skirt at h&m a couple weeks ago and instantly fell in love with the high front slit and its perfect fit; definitely one of the most successful purchases this season. On another note, my train back in London got cancelled last night, which means I'm still stranded in Paris until tomorrow eve. But as I've said several times before, everything happens for a reason, and this time the reason is all crystal clear; Elie Saab tomorrow afternoon woooop

alber's 10th anniversary

Last night Alber Elbaz threw a spectacular show-or should we say party?-to celebrate his first decade at the house of Lanvin. At 20:30 we were greeted by massive birthday cakes, delicious appetizers and plenty of bubbly followed by a fairly perfect celebrity spotting-Jessica Alba, Dita Von Teese, Tilda Swinton and Jade Jagger all about to take their seats on the front row. The show itself was almost like a dream; a parade of signature LBD's, shiny embellishments, bold colorings and eccentric jewelry pieces, aka pure Lanvin luxury. The highlight of the night? Mr Elbaz jumping on stage to sing the opening lines of "Que sera, sera"; "This is a song for all those I love, and who helped me make my dream come true" he said.

Certainly a night to remember.

The presentation of the Bally AW12 collection took place on Sunday, 26th of Feb 2012 in an old aristocratic building at Corso Venezia, 48. Once I walked into the reception area, Sylvia, one of the managers there was kind enough to guide me around and tell me everything I needed to know about the new collection. I shall admit, I did not expect to be as much amazed as I got when I saw the entire collection-both the clothing and accessory line. All the new pieces manage to capture the sophisticated lifestyle and the romance of high life-the life that is lived by a citizen of the world, a frequent traveler with exacting standards. Beautiful, as well as desirable leather statement coats with shearling and mink details, simple yet so chic jersey dresses, over-the-knee boots, booties and pumps, leather belts, all tapped directly into Bally's DNA.

Giorgio Armani named his Emporio collection "Little Winter Follies", and one certain element of folly was for sure the knee britches or bermudas, sometimes paired with skirts and others with dresses. The whole collection gave out the impression that Giorgio's inspiration came from long back in the 18th century, and the use of velvet made that even stronger. Models were fresh faced, and stormed down the catwalk in two, having a mysterious grin on their faces, like smiling at us conspiratorially. The upbeat was amazing, and I loved the fact that the models were getting out there in pairs, and sometimes in fours-it gave the staging an absolute girlish glee. Some of the latest sparkly jackets were my favorite pieces but the collection was so not-Armani, as we are used to more subtle and wearable clothes. In general, he showed pieces that are difficult for a 2012 woman to see herself in but hey, life is about taking risks and experiencing new limits.

milan day 3

My day begun with a huge surprise breakfast by my friend Konstantina, who woke up earlier than the rest of us and brought 3 bags of goodies with donuts, coffees, sandwiches and frozen yoghurts. YUM. I put on my biggest smile, slipped into my super comfy jeans and stormed out of the house to enjoy my last day in Milan. The warm weather was a plus so we ended up spending most of our morning strolling around via Montenapoleone. Had lunch at Pasticceria Cova (best Tiramisu in town) and then headed-for once again-at the Armani cafe (it's on my top 3 list whenever I'm in town).

Yesterday was one of the laziest-aka best-Sundays in months; a stroll around Portobello, quick shopping spree at Matches, scrambled eggs at BBB, hot chocolate at Melt and that's pretty much what my day consisted of.

These old Topshop jeans finally found their way out of the back of my closet and right now they seem to be the most appropriate piece of clothing to do nothing types of activities..Gotta love their low-rise fit and relaxed attitude. Here with Stella McCartney white blazer, grey tee and chunky necklace from h&m trend, black loafers from COS, Alexander Wang bag and RetroSuperFuture sunglasses.

milan day 2

Sunday in Milan. To begin with, a call woke me up at 8 am-my sister was on the other end of the line saying that she just missed her flight and all other flights to Milan were overbooked till tomorrow evening. Thought she was joking as usual, but noooo she actually missed it urghh. After falling back to my deep sleep, I woke up around 10 had my breakfast and headed straight to the Bally AW12 presentation taking place in an amazing old building at Corso Venezia. I started wearing just one of my favorite American vintage white tee's and white fur on top, but was actually quite warm for that, so I stormed into the first Zara store I found on my way to Corso Venezia and bought this amazing black knitted sweater which made a perfect combo with the colorful silk trousers and snakeskin booties.

Bad news. Apparently my over-excitement and lack of sleep resulted in me missing my flight to Milan. Damn. I even had my outfit sorted for a day under the Milanese sunshine; multicolored jumper with chunky necklace, peach leather skirt-bare legs required-and platform sandals. They say everything happens for a reason, but I have yet to come up with a good reason for this one. Urghh anyway..the good news? The weather here in London is beautiful too, and I'm planning to make the most out of it-considering the fact that it's the first Sunday off I've had in months.

Buonanotte people! It was the Armani show at 10:30am, and still don't know how I managed to wake up after last night's amazing party at the Principe di Savoia-but obviously I wouldn't miss it for the world. Needless to say the show was amazing, pics will come up soon. Headed back to the flat to meet up with friends straight after, and spent the day strolling and shopping around sunny Milan. The weather has been fantastic the past two days, it feels like spring already. After a coffee break at Armani cafe we headed for a really late lunch and delicious cocktails to the Rinascente Mozzarella Bar and then off to get changed for Philipp Plein at 21.00. Ohhh and of course I had to make a stop at McDonald's for a delicious Mc Flairy-yummies. It's another long night ahead and I cannot wait for its surprises.... Have a great one people, stay tuned.

Some invites are here, some are due to come and right now I am posting this sitting on the couch having pre-drinks with John and Konstantina just before we head out! Nat is coming on Sunday morning, urghh I wish she was here with me already. (she warned me not to open her invites, weirdo). Off to some serious partying and tomorrow, work starts from the very early hours. But, hey we all know that fashion weeks are hardcore. Later people...

Hey guys! I know we haven't posted anything the past few days, but things had been a little bit crazy for both of us. From this time on, I will be posting live from Milan Fashion Week :) I'm taking off tomorrow and Nat is meeting me there on Sunday morning, so more updates to come soon.

P.S. I picked up this fur at H&M a couple days ago-amazing huh?-and paired it with these (sort of) fuchsia shorts I got from Zara last year; I needed a twist of color to remind me that spring is already on the way!

I teamed up with Greek designer Pinelopi-whose fur creations by the way I absolutely adore, as well as her LA inspired SS12 collection (it totally makes you feel like rocking it in Venice beach)-for her latest ad campaign that will be featured in upcoming issues of Vogue Hellas and Elle (Elle is already out, so go get it!). We picked 3 basic pieces, the rock&roll t-shirt, the shredded tee and the maxi dress, which I paired with some of my own items to make a statement and here's the result. Come on people tell me what you think!

It's Sunday morning and Nat has woken me up at 9am cos apparently we had soooo much work to do before we head to our parents' for lunch at 2pm and then she was off to L town. I had found myself struggling to get out of bed, but then I realized we were finally gonna wear and photograph Rita Attala's first RTW collection, so I was up and out of the door within minutes.

I knew Rita Attala from the magazines, a famous socialite with an exquisite personal sense of style. When I heard that she is now launching a collection I was very curious of the result. RATT-that is the name of her collection-is currently available at StudioSeven, so we straight booked an appointment to check it out ourselves. I was totally stunned by the color combinations and unique styles; black and navy, beige and light pistaccio, golden zippers, minimalistic cuts, jumpsuits, long vests, amazing loose pants.. (you will see pictures of all this featured here soon). We got to wear one outfit each, and all we can say is that Rita got two loyal customers already :)

I'd never consider myself a big fan of metallic jeans, but surprisingly I fell head over heels for these specific ones. Here (in a major effort to avoid looking like an astronaut) dressed them down with a slouchy ice blue/mint jumper from h&m and the perfect black sunnies from beginning boutique.

Hola fashionistas! It's been a crazy weekend for me and Nat, my baby twin is back in L town now and miss her so much already. These shots were taken today after our mom had the whole family gathered for lunch (and thought we were gonna die from extreme food overload). Mom's food is always a pleasure, right? We had a late business shooting afterwards, so I thought I'd pair one of my favorite vintage treasures-the sequined jacket-with my short fur gilet aiming at a perfect contradiction, skinny jeans and the IM's.
