Hello readers!

Just in case you people had been wondering. I had been on a hiatus mode for quite some months now due to my previous pregnancy. If you've ever been pregnant, I'm sure you understand how those sickness can get to you. But unfortunately, I had a miscarriage when the pregnancy was only 2 months. It then took quite an effort for me to get back the momentum that was lost, but I'm so glad I gained it back.

You know why? Because I had so much fun baking this cake below.

Fatin requested a polka-dot themed baby cake. She wanted a mixture of colors to make the cake FUN and CHEERFUL. I took a risk by using navy blue, among other colors, for this baby girl cake, but I'm so glad that she loves the end product!

Spiderman themed partayyyyy!

Last Saturday, my little superhero and his sidekick both celebrated their birthday. I had fun organizing a mini celebration at my arent's house. Though the attendees were just us some family members, that didn't stop me from going a little bit exaggerated with the decorations.

Of course, since it's not even a full-fledged partayyyy, I did not print out all the invitation, poster and stickers design I made for them. But I'm pretty sure I will do it soon because I just have to include it in their birthdays photo album, so they could ~~be forced to~~ appreciate what I've done for them, in years to come. Heeeeeeee!!!

This order came from Misz Honey, one of my blog readers, as she said. Her initial request was to have a diaper cake similar to The Sheep and the Baseball dc. However, as the items included in that cake are out-of-stock, she suggested other boyish theme that includes either guitar or football or something to that effect.

As we are always working to improve the quality of the product at TWS, we have to start being more selective on the products we choose to include in our diaper cakes. Thus, starting from 1st January 2011, we herewith announce that the minimum price for a diaper cake with basic ingredients ,which will include diapers and 2 other baby items, would be RM65 per cake.The same goes for baby cakes and birthday cakes.

We have to increase the minimum price so as to provide a better quality product to satisfy our customers. Thank you for your support all these while and we hope to serve you better in the future.

On a different note, as a token of appreciations for those who have been continuing to extend their support on our products, we have decided to start a new tradition for TWS. Every year beginning, we will choose one VIP customer who has placed the highest amount of orders (on separate occasions) with us within the previous year. Missus KancilBiru aka Cik Puan Niza is my repeat customer. This is her second time ordering the cake from me. She's an extremely easy customer to work with. She gave a budget and I worked with it. Anyway, anyhow, as long as they look nice.

Since the gender of the baby wasn't yet confirmed, I decided to go with a neutral color that would look brightly macho on a little man and brightly sweet on a little woman. My mood to start baking the cake was hiked up when I start to listen to the song 'Yellow' by Coldplay.
