So recently I have been levelling some alts – all different levels from about 30 upwards and I have been noticing cute or funny things which I have been screenshotting and videoing.

I know this is probably a topic that gets discussed often, but given that we are coming into a new xpac soon and with beta out, I thought I would be nice to reflect on the little touches we find in game that make it extra special.

As an example I saw a Goblin in winterspring called Barbie Cutesazz and I got a giggle out of it.

Back in Feb. of 2011 we featured The Undermine Journal as an RSS early in it’s lifespan. Since then The Undermine Journal has remained consistent but has become very feature rich and worth every second you spend reading the site.

There is a specific “Journal” for every realm including each faction and even spotlighting the neutral market!

The reason I’m re-RSS’ing this post is because Mists of Pandaria is nigh. Time to start building up that supply of gold to help you level your characters, level their professions, or whatever it is you crazy kids use in-game gold for these days.

Make some gold, send some to me on Emerald Dream (US) to say thank you, and the world will be a brighter place.

The more I think about it the more I want to know why not? “heroic” level PvP with an IL restriction? Have unique upgraded maps with cool mechanics that would really confuse someone new to pvp? You could resurrect the raid PvP of Alteric Valley. Have it take 2 hours and compensate equally with the faster matches. Bring up some more total war raid matches like a battle at sea or in the air.

It seems like such a simple idea that would make PvP far more deep and interesting than ‘oh damn WSG popped again for my random.’

Or am I just rambling away about something that wouldn’t ever work?

Janaelle has been playing WoW for seven years, and considers herself a self-titled holy paladin expert who dabbles in some alts on the side. While her raid history is long and varied, she is currently enjoying a more relaxed raid schedule with a dash of RP when she’s not slaying internet dragons. As I mentioned previously I wanted to set up a TNB / Blog Azeroth cross-realm raid. Using the fantastic Twitterland Raiding site I set up a raid for tomorrow evening, Wednesday 4, at 9:30pm Eastern. It will be a 25 man, normal, Ulduar raid for Alliance U.S.

Bulidar has been playing WoW since Wrath of the Lich King as a way to keep in touch with friends. Over time he find himself hooked on the game and continuing to play, even when his friends weren’t available. He’s a bit of a altaholic, having an 85 of every call save a warrior and a rogue, but not to worry! He’s got three shaman to make up for it! While he’s dabbled in all specs, he finds that enhancement remains his favorite.

Bulidar likes to write about general WoW topics, and often offers his opinion on different pieces of the game. He has a few thoughts about Mists of Pandaria, as well as some insight on his own gaming distractions. He also shares his insight on playing what he wants and neglecting his main. Hello Everyone! I’d like you to join me in welcoming Morrigu from Arsenic and Old Mooncloth!

Morrigu started playing WoW in vanilla, coming over after her adventures in Neverwinter Nights ended. While she started off on Thrall’s team, the call of the alliance appealed to her and she found her way into Stormwind Keep and never looked back. While Morrigu enjoys raiding, she finds that it’s the social aspects of WoW that keep her engaged. If you can’t find her in game, you might find her enjoying different console games, offering you a pint or deciding which book to read next.

Arsenic and Old Mooncloth is mainly a WoW blog, but you may also find personal bits and pieces of Morrigu in there as well. She likes to focus on her thoughts on the game and exploring the gaming world from a female perspective. You might find Morrigu talking about random acts of kindness or her thoughts on being lumped into a “princess” stereotype. Pink is a Georgetown University student who enjoys frolicing around in WoW, and is a self-confessed hardcore noob. Fond of finding the CAPSLOCK button when she rages, Pink likes to point out some of the situations that cause her to rage – and find the humor in them. She likes to offer up twists to conventional WoW play and enjoys reading other blogs, books and quotes on self-improvement. She enjoys taking a bad situation and finding a way to laugh at it. She hopes to build a community where people can take their rage and turn it into something better.

Pink can find the humor in just about any situation, such as inappropriate totem talk or dealing with those rage inciting rogues. Greetings folks!

As I mentioned in the Addonation segment on this weeks Twisted Nether Blogcast, I am setting up a Cross-Realm Raid Event. (Alliance side, sorry I have no Horde toons, but more on that later)

The first event to be held I am tentatively planning as an Ulduar 25man. Ulduar is fairly universally held as the favorite Warcraft raid encounter, it’d positively beautiful, will make for great screenshots, can be easily cleared in one night of only a few hours, and as an added bonus has as a reward what I consider to be the most beautiful flying mount in all the game…

Let me know the general time/day that works best for you.

I should stipulate that I am setting this up for the North American realms only. Again, I cannot run a raid on the European realms, sadly.

That said, I will not be neglecting our Horde brethren, even though you chose to play the wrong faction. ^_^ only joking of course, or am I?

If you would like to schedule and run a Horde side event, or a European realm event, please contact me as well and we will set that up.

4.3.2 has given the community a wonderful gift in the Cross-Realm-Raid feature and I would love to see the Twisted Nether and Blog Azeroth community use that feature to it’s fullest!

If the event is a success (and why wouldn’t it be?!) we can plan for more events in the future, venturing into other raid encounters as well! I don’t know about you, but there are a great deal of raids I’ve never seen in person, despite having played since launch.

So again, email me at rilandune at gmail dot com and/or respond to this thread, and lets get a nice Ulduar run together soon and get some achievements/titles/drakes in the process!
