Confession; I wear this dress all the time, and it's not vintage. I feel bad about myself when wearing pricier non-vintage/ non-thrifted pieces. I also feel bad when I forget to take off my eye makeup before going to sleep (every night), when I use coffee mugs to eat cereal out of instead of doing the dishes, and when I accidentally tan even a little (shocking, I'm sure). I am a strange guilt ridden creature who should be studied.

I know what you're thinking. Cowboy boots? And the answer is eff yeah.

The story: I was wearing this outfit with regular brown boots this morning when I casually brought up my red cowboy boots to the boy. He laughed, and made a joke about me "pulling them off" a la Ted Mosby. I should mention here that we watch A LOT of How I Met Your Mother. Anyway, I responded "Challenge accepted" and immediately changed into my awesome cowboy boots. Now I bet he feels silly.

Fridaying. It's A Word

Today was a much needed day off for me, so outfit pics were just not going to happen. Instead, here are some random photos from my dying iPhone. Note: Dropping your iPhone repeatedly on tile flooring does affect picture quality. Who knew?

My boyfriend was kind enough to text me a picture of the sunrise instead of waking me up to see it. I love you too.

OWL MUG! It makes coffee (and often wine) so much cuter.

This is Solange the big metal chicken. She is a smaller and less impressive version of Beyonce, The Bloggess' big metal chicken. (An awesome Xmas gift from my siblings.)

Solange is unbeatable at staring contests.

The best reason to let your bananas go bad.
