The more and more previews surface, the more I want the game! From what I read in GI (link below) The game is coming along pretty well. Only thing I didn't like was the Online Only turned my smile into a semi-frown :\ but from what the author said, it was meant to keep pirates from playing and what not. We'll see how it works out in the end. Real Money Auction House seems a bit of a turn off as well because you won't see the money when someone wins the auction (either from bids or buyout) But again, hope to see more info on this in the near future to avoid unnecessary hate ;)

I love Diablo series and I love the way D3 is coming along.

Resident Evil 4 HD and Code Veronica Released Date

I've been following articles about these 2 games. Finally we get a release date and the price! RE 4 and CV will be $20 bucks on GOD on the 360 and PS3. No word if both games will also get a retail version of itself. RE 4 will be released on September 20th while CV will be out on the 27th. So save up to buy them on Day 1! Again!

Alice: Madness Returns Review

If your a fan of the original American Mcgee's Alice, then get your hands on the game. Get the game for the sake of getting the original game for free. EA decided to sell the original game to used games of AMR as an Add-on and not a stand alone game.

Regardless of a few minor flaws, the game is still enjoyable. The environment is beautiful, especially the first time you step into the twisted world of Wonderland. Colorful settings really sets the mood. Different locations will have their own look to it. Mad Hatter's area has a steampunk look to it, and there's an Oriental level that uses classic (maybe mythology) of Samurai-like culture. I find the levels to be beautiful.

The game-play is mixed with action and platforming and puzzles(if you can call it a puzzle game) Think of it like Zelda battle system with puzzle solving and fighting mechanics. You have 4 weapons at your disposal. The Vorpal Blade, a Pepper Grinder, Hobby Horse, and Teapot Grenadier. These weapons play different roles during fights. Teapot can be used to attack grouped enemies. The Pepper grinder works well with single enemies that are flying (Boltflies and Wasp Flies) can be dealt with easily. Hobby Horse can be used on some enemies that guard alot (Cannon Crabs) Use it against the crabs in Chapter 2 to flip them over and use the Vorpal Blade to take it down. Vorpal Blade is a kitchen knife that will be used most of the time in the game. The Umbrella is not a weapon but more of a defensive item. Can be used to deflect enemy projectile attacks. Rabbitbomb can be used to keep enemies distracted and can be used to break open weak walls (Hobby Horse can be used also when you get it) The weapons above are upgradable, but the Umbrella and Rabbitbomb are not.

The music is great. Every level will have it's own style and the Dollhouse music actually was a bit catchy and a bit creepy!

The game might have a few glitches but its not going to ruin the experience. The Original must be played to understand the AMR storyline. But if your not sure if its worth the purchase, then by all means, give it a rental. True, hardcore fans will enjoy it.

Konami didn't announce the release date for Castlevania at E3. So, only theory I have is it'll be released around the either during the Fall or Holiday season. Come Konami, give us a release date to end our curiosity!

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Let me just say this. As every fan of the series, this game is going to consume our lives. Some will either play the game 24/7, some will play it casually. I am one that will play the game 24/7 but I'm trying my best not to! (I know everyone knows this but I'll say it anyway :D)

At E3, they showed us a glimpse of the game, which I dare say "It looks amazing!" Getting to duel wield magic and weapons was a nice addition to the game. Equipping the same magic spell on both hands will cause greater damage to the enemy or if you healing, can double the healing effect. Want to duel weild weapons? You sure can. Later part of the demo they showed you can duel wield weapons. You can equip a staff on one hand and a sword or magic on the other. That will let the players define their character even more, which is a welcome addition in my book.

Dragons, as Todd Howard has mentioned, are unscripted, as in they will not appear at certain key points in the story. They can actually appear out of nowhere to attack you, even if its the begining of the game. The demo did show a Dragon pick up a Giant off the ground just to let him go in mid-air. That my friends is what I like about the game. Dragons don't care who's around, if you're in the way, it'll make you go away! (not trying to rhyme there)

Dragon Shouts are also a new addition to the game. Getting Dragon Souls to learn them. Finding words will get you started and killing the Dragons and getting their Souls will allow you to learn them and use them. The more souls you get the more powerful the word power becomes. I can't wait to try out the Dragon Shout (Force push in this case)

November 11, 2011 is the release date. It can't get here any faster I'm afraid. I will playing this game 24/7 because I can't help it! :)

Castlevania HOD coming to PS3

I was checking out Game Informer and I noticed an article, that Konami was planning to reveal the game at E3 and announce the release date for the PS3 owners. I’m actually excited about it. I was disappointed when it was on 360 and I was waiting for the announcement to be released on the PS3, until now!

Thank you Konami for allowing the PS3 owners the chance to play the game.

Anyone else happy about the announcement?

After a few minutes of brainstorming. I came up with this design. I the love the way it came out. At first, I thought it was going to be one of those days, where, you come up with a design in your head, then you try to transfer it on paper (in this case, on the monitor) and you start second guessing yourself and mess everything up. But after several tweaks, it was finished!
